I was in that hotel 7th to the 21st june great hotel and service i always book that hotel in adeje it looks like you were just before me looking at the building work but noisy at night if you go to bed early.

Some amazing artwork there. Glad you published this. I did a video of the local urban art in Bristol and forgot to upload it, so I am doing that now and slot it in my schedule for 5th July.

I moved to Longstone when I was 4 in 1966 (Kingsknowe is part of Slateford-Longstone). The quarry was the council tip throughout my childhood. It was still about 40-50ft lower down than it is now. The smell over the whole area was awful, especially on hot summer days. After the tip closed it became like a heathland in the late 70s/early 80s. There were partridges living there before they grassed it over.

Such a shame that the chin has been vandalised. Nice grass eyebrows though... 😂

Did that walk early morning March 2023, had a brilliant sighting of grey shrike looking fierce and singing sweetly..

Nice to have discovered your channel thanks to Steve. Whenever the sun comes out in Aberdeen (as you say rarely), I love to walk through Old Aberdeen past the University and the cathedral, through Seaton Park to the Old Brig O’ Balgownie. Worth finding the hidden garden (part of Aberdeen University).

We had the wee shop at 2 Muirton Road in the mid 1950s. Trains were still running. Anyone remember Teal Delanzo's chippy at the corner of Whorterbank or Leishman in Logie Street, "The Spot for bacon".

Found you via the recent Newfoundland Steve Marsh video. You could do a lot worse than go in for a meal at the Silver Darling, at the mouth of the river Dee at the harbour where you filmed. Not cheap but good. Get a table overlooking the waves coming ashore.
