What if (and this is just a theory) that's why they signed jani hakanpaa to 1.5 million, to then put him on LTIR, to make room for Dewar. It's cap circumvention, and they will say "well we thought we could get him better and back to playing". I might be way off, but it's the exact same deal 2 years at 1.5 million.
