Glad to see yours getting the love it deserves, as so many of these have the crap beaten out of them, they they break and never see the light of day again.

What’s up my brother, yes I know you are probably the largest genuine HPI fan there is. I got this one for quite cheap it had many problems but just like any gas or Nitro you cannot kill them. I’m happy to see this one running once again.

thank you man!! Yes the gearing info is very important for Bajas as you already know. Most people don't realize that gear mesh in not adjustable on the baja chassis and you need to swap both the clutch bell and the spur gear.

Have you ever used a 2 or 3 speed transmission iv just purchased the 3 speed transmission gearing for 80 gbp but haven't had the chance to fit it yet wooohooo can't wait
nice video man I am also facing a similar issue whenever I am pressing full throttle the Baja is just moving like at a slow speed so what is the reason I think clutch failure or what

hey dude! thank you man!! I had a great Nitro Birthday, went to a hibachi place. Anyway the reason I had to wear that Zenoah hat to the side is not because I wanted to look cool, it's a very logical reason. Normally I wear my hat backwards to prevent shadows on my face from the lights I use. A forward facing hat would create a shadow upto my nose. I will wear it once again and show you in a future video.

Ye hpi say they are quality parts yet they fail all the time and people end up either making parts or buying aftermarket parts of a better quality, that's just hpi for you though, and most other hobby grade rc's with the basic parts. Nice baja though, I will be investing in a 5th scale this year hopefully, so this video is useful to know, thanks hybrid 👍👊

hey dude! HPI has re-released a version of the Baja, you're right. Unfortunately it's its a KIT without motor and no electronics. The price of the new baja kit is more than any rovan baja at this point also. Quite Sickening if you ask me, lol..

ahahaha, yes bro!! My Zenoah 27CC tried to KILL that field!! The slick tires don't hook up at all in the grass so that was my version of trying to SAVE THE FIELD< ahah!!

There are upgraded black dampeners or you can go solid steel get rid of the dampeners
hey dude, good point on the optional upgraded dampeners. I was not aware of them while making this video and only wanted to make it drivable for the cheapest amount. So far these ones are holding up very well.
