- Welcome back to Sam Bikes, where we are all about electric mountain bikes. Today on the channel, we are doing a two-month review of the Giant Reign E+. As an ebike enthusiast, I love hearing about how other riders have experienced the same bike. That's why over the last two months, Palbo and Martin have been testing the Giant Reign E+0 and all came to the conclusion that the Giant Reign E+ is one of if not the best value electric mountain bike in 2024

For those of you who are not familiar with the Giant Reign E+, here's a quick recap. It's a hard-hitting enduro Electric mountain bike that runs on mullet wheels, has 170mm of travel up front and 160mm in the rear. It's powered by the Giant Syncdrive Pro Motor, which is based on the Yamaha PWX3 but with Giants' own software, and an 800Wh battery.

I bought my first EMTB, the 2022 Giant Reign E+0 based on Sam’s review. I absolutely love it. Every ride I think how awesome it is. I can get 50 mile, 7000ft of climbing all day rides out of it or I can rinse it if I’m short on time. Slap some DHR/DHF on it and a longer dropper and it’s amazing. One of the best things I ever bought, and the cherry on the top was I got 20% off RRP.

I'm the unlucky one. My 625 battery assist me for less than 1200m and around 32km in tour/active mode. Next week I will send to the assistance for a claim. 😢 I really love this bike but I'm disappointed about range
7000ft of elevation is just great. You have a shuttle machine

How low is it? Does not look like it should be that low from the geo chart in high setting?
I have the 2022 reign e+0, fantastic bike! I am struggling a little with pedalstrokes. Thinking about getting shorter cranks. What length do you recommend?

I love my 23 Reign E+3, since mine came with the domain fork, i think an upgraded fork and shock will make it even better!
Hey Brad you know you can upgrade the internal damper on the domain fork for like 250€ making it’s a zeb!
I got the e3 with the domain fork.
I upgraded to the 2.1 damper.
I wasn’t aware at first this bike has the new standard off size in headset .(larger bottom)I i could find any new zebs for sale in the new steerer size 1.8 inch.
I was advised that the zeb upgrade stuff wasn’t compatible so put in a 2.1 damper and skf seals had a noticeable improvement.they are good now
It shows that your testing the E+1 but i see its the E+0 model. What is the biggest difference of the 2024 E+1 compared to the +0 and is the new model better? Thanks
I was standing between this Giant and Trek Rail, I ended up buying Trek Rail 9 but honestly I wish I bought the giant, Trek is awesome and a beast e-bike, the only problem is the rattling sound that can’t be fixed is a crazy and so annoying while downhills
What drink bottle and cage are people putting in theirs ? without thinking I brought both online and there is very little clearance on the top tube and it makes contact on hits

@@camwells9726 absolutely loving the bike. I ride an XL and it’s so good got the suspension working sweet and I’ve never been good at jumping a bike but the reign E gives me so much confidence, I love it.
@@dukeandace2010 ok I’m about to pull the trigger on the 24 e +1 . Because I took up riding late , 50s , my skills are a bit basic and I tend to like a bike that ploughs through stuff rather than rely on me to finesse my way through if that makes sense . The large is also exactly the reach and stack height I like .

Sorry mate, for us sometimes is difficult to make the conversion. I'm 5'8, Sam 6ft and Martín 6,2. The bike weights about 55lb. I managed to get a climbing of 6600ft, and Sam average is about 4600ft.

For me this is the best value enduro ebike from a bike shop yes you can some great online deals but if your buying in a bike shop this bike is killer value
