A classic hymn
Praise God for elder h reed. The best of the cogic.
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus’ Name.
That very last "sinking" right before the last "sand" was genius. Just good old gospel singing with no pretense! That was a simple-basic but- hot riff!

..thinking out loud...are there any choirs/music like this today? i'm sure there is somewhere on this earth-sometimes I just long for those days of real, live, anointed raw singing-no cover ups.
+kevin sargent I am sure that there are local church choirs that still sing traditional gospel music. Unfortunately, the entertainment industry has hi-jacked gospel music, along with many artists and has morphed the music into something that is commercially successful, but in many cases has lost it's original value and message.
