A vintage bottle from the vineyards! I played this album until it warped! TWINKIE beats the devil out of that organ. OMG! When I was younger, I felt she was from another planet the way she played the organ on those International Mass Choir Albums. That's why people love and regard her so! Thank you for posting!

I remember hearing this when it first came out. Two things stood out: The woman who sang lead and her voice range. And two? One word: TWINKEEEEEE!!!! My God! This what you call power organ playing!

I remember when we recorded this!!!! I shouted so tough, I tore a hole in my pants and I didn't get a whipping from my Pops for he knew that I wasn't playing church....it was real!!!

I was there the night of this recording. It was at the Los Angeles Convention Center, back around 1979. The conference was known by the acronym UNAC. It's the AIM convention today. If I'm not mistaken the entire music program was captured on 5 albums. It was my introduction to COGIC. Nothing like an old school bump!

It's Carol Thomas. Someone reported that she is living in Houston, Texas now.
After hearing this, you can only imagine what Heaven is going to be like. Praise God for the music ministry of Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. I never got the chance to meet her, but I wish I could have.🙏❤👏👏👏👏
Oh we still do in our Church what we did back then When & Yes we have to Sing Yeah ( Yes Lord) To Get things done in our Church Meaning Preaching The Scriptures. Our Young People are Learning The Importance. To Learning To Read,Live By ,& Understanding The Bible,God's Written Down Spoken Word Of God Through the Only Begotten Son Of God,Jesus Amen.

Man I wished I was there when they recorded this. I truly miss the COGIC especially during the 80s. Play that organ, Twinkie!!!! Because Jesus Lives. By the way, who is the lady in white? ✝️

I don't know anything as far as her location or anything of that sort but I do know she's still alive, doing well, and still SANGIN' like only she can. There are some recent videos of her ministering on youtube. She's still got it!

She wrote the song and introduced it to Mattie at the time Beverly was COGIC now she is Rev. Beverly Cofield at St. Paul AME in Cleveland Ohio and we still sing this song today
