FIRST TIME Hiking Over 14,000 FEET! (first Colorado 14er) | Mount Bierstadt // WFTV_EP32

In this episode, we hike up Mount Bierstadt (our first Colorado 14er!!). It was such an awesome experience hiking up over 14,000 feet. It really feels like the whole world is at your feet. We started this hike around 6 am and were treated to a glorious Rocky Mountain sunrise. A day we will remember forever. Many more Colorado hikes to come!!

Nice work - 14,000 - that's impressive! How far did you have to hike to get to that elevation? It looked like a pretty long hike/climb. You two looked like your lungs have already acclimated well to the high altitude. Again, well done!

Thank you so much! The round trip length of the hike was 7.5 miles! We’ve been out for a few weeks now so the lungs were ready for it. (We actually hiked a second one already, video coming!).
