We just need a 170 inch long station wagon
Yesssss
Hell ya
Yes
Even more would be cool. A Volvo XC70 is 190 inch
That's tiny. Just buy a Corolla hatchback if you want 170 inches.
Amazing how great these Toyotas become! I live in Europe, but for instance would love to have the grand highlander over here, as well. The new Land Cruiser is also great. The time of ugly, but reliable Toyotas are gone. all of these cars look great. keep fingers crossed reliability will remain....
Toyota makes the ugliest cars they try too hard to be stylish and they over do it.
As long as Toyota doesn't stray from TPS, then we need not worry.
I love how Toyota is just casually dismissing the overly rushed and panicky EV push and just marching on with solidly built creatively designed hybrid vehicles.. the market speaks for itself
If they came out with a Hybrid Corolla Wagon or Hybrid Camry Wagon, they’d have my money so darn fast!
Toyota has 3 distinct Hybrid Corolla wagons in production today. Would you prefer Europe's extended wheelbase Corolla Touring Sports in FWD, Japan's Corolla Touring in FWD or AWD or Japan's Corolla Fielder FWD?
Crown sport
A hybrid Corolla hatchback already exists?
@@guppy360 Yep, they also do wagons
@@guppy360I was in Iceland last week and I saw AT LEAST 100 of the Corolla Hybrid Wagons. They’re insanely popular. I even took pictures 😭 It Made me question why they never brought them to the states? Hm..
Toyota needs to give us a maverick competitor no exceptions. Base it off the Corolla Cross and price it around $25,000 which will give us a good gap between the "Stout" compact pickup, Tacoma and Tundra.
Yes I’ve been hoping some thing similar to the maverick would get announced but no other company seems to even be talking about it
I think it would kill the tacoma sales
I don't think it would because it for 2 different customers one is someone who needs a decent truck and 1 that barely needs a truck and just needs the bed. @@multikillerpro1
This video alone is why I prefer the 4Runner now vs the one coming I like the trouble free and simplicity for everything
Crown Sport. We need that in N.A
New Camry and Signia look very promising also that Crown sport looks stunning but eagerly waiting for RAV4 refresh. And that baby Land cruiser is interesting.
Thanks so much for sharing this latest Toyota future. Kirk.
Please bring back the small 4cyl Tacoma 4x4 of the old days with improved mpg over the larger ones and old ones.
I think the RAV4 should be AWD only to be a truly Recreational Activity Vehicle
You are right.
I have a 24 AWD RAV4
Definitely looking forward to the unveiling of the next gen RAV4…. Cheers.
That just got refreshed in 2019 tho
I would like to see the mini land cruiser to come out sooner...ideally late 2024!
2024: New Crown Insignia, New Grand Highlander, New Taco, New Land Cruiser, New King Camry
2025: New 4Runner, New Rav4, New Crown Sport
Toyota is planning a PHEV with 125+ mile EV range. I would like this in a CHR or RAV4
About ready to pull the trigger on a 2024 Venza, but the 25 Rav4 got my interest. If i could afford it, I'd take a Crown Signia in a heartbeat. That longer wheel base rides so much better, quieter. It's much easier on long road trips.
New owner of Prius plugin'23!spaceship!❤Toyota!
RAV4, Corolla cross, venza, bz4x, sequoia, crown insignia, Highlander, grand Highlander, 4 runner, Land Cruiser… we got the Prado version of the Land Cruiser, we don’t need a 4 runner. We got the crown, we don’t need the venza, we have the insignia, we don’t need the grand Highlander, we have the rav4 we don’t need the bz4x
Bring is the Yaris hybrid which can get 75mpg. This small car segment has evaporated. Imagine the environmental impact if everyone drove this car instead of a truck/SUV to work. Gas prices would tumble.
🙌🙌🙌🙌
Nice, thanks for the info
I’m a Toyota big fan. I was thinking of a Tesla Model Y 7 passengers, but now that I saw your post I’ll be looking out for the new Toyota BZ7. I just subscribed to your post. Please get more info on the new Toyota BZ7 if possible. Thank you so much!
Camery se. Can't wait check one out. Long live sedans!
I'm just waiting for the crown sport in the USA. Toyota will have my $$$. Love your videos Kirk.
If they release that baby Land cruiser in Hybrid and in reasonable price, it will have killer sale in North Amercia.
with 2.0 Liter Diesel engine
had LC deposit since April, the wait ahhhh
That crown sport 👑 does look better then a Ferrari design
Sticking to the Gas model all the way.
Toyota reaping all the rewards now for being an early adopter and now household name for hybrid tech with the best design philosophy since...ever. If only they can meet demand but with how consumers are behaving these days, they really don't need to.
08:07 I WISH they were actually mini vans. They are HUGE
I was just in Japan this past Oct. and saw the Crown. I'm excited to see that come to the states.👍
Kirk, can you let me know when I can preorder the Stout? Great channel! We're neighbors by the way.
i’ve had a few golf wagons and a tiguan. I often use the middle portion of the 40/20/40 rear seat. 2 kids in hockey, skiing, and the odd stack of 2x4’s. Sure there’s other ways to load a vehicle but why do so few manufacturers offer 40/20/40 seats? I know it’s cost, but I can’t be the only busy parent out there who truly enjoys this convenience. I would love a crown signia but ….
Seeing some online chatter about a refresh for the 2025 Corolla Cross ICE and Hybrid crossovers but nothing mentioned here. Any news from your "insiders", Kirk?
Excited about the Crown Estate! Not excited about ANYTHING electric!!
It's definitely the new Prius that excites me the most: it's finally a great looking car!
As a long time Toyota hater, that Crown Signia might convert me. Stunning!
Please keep hating, the fewer people on the Signia waiting lists, the better. 😉
Corolla needs a redesign for 2025 model year but I feel they’ll wait until 2026, give it the same improvements the Prius got on TNGA C
I'm sure actual official MPG numbers take a while, an estimate on the figure or an estimate on when the numbers will be available, for the Tacoma and Land Cruiser, would be nice. But it seems like Toyota is still having lots of trouble getting enough hybrid production. Seems like that should be the focus, over coming out with even more hybrids. I want more Toyota hybrid and prime options with amazing gas mileage and reliability. But 6-12 month waits are crazy, making people settle for something that they don't want. We enjoy our '22 Sienna AWD, just passing 41k in 24 months, but there are a few things we would have ordered differently on it if we didn't have to nab one someone else backed out of.
4 runner for sure!!!
I hope they make the cars quieter, the Rav and Venza have a lot of road engine noise
That FT-3 looks pretty cool
Crown Sport !!! Oh yes I’m interested
I think the biggest surpirse will be when insurance companies fail because they have to write off all the EVs that are in accidents because it costs too much to repair them. After seeing how much a battery replacement is on a hyundai 60k CAD it is laughable that we are putting our hopes on this alone. Let alone the price of the bloody things. There is no mention of an affordable EV. Just crown expensive shit.
I love the BZ LE Good charging, nice atonomy and super ride`.
Hey Kirk...really nice review. I'm leaning towards a minivan as my next future vehicle. So any info on a redesigned Sienna would be awesome.
Also...with all these planned EV's coming out, I'm very concerned about "rodent damage" to these EV vehicles. I say this because we had a Lexus RX that was at a body shop being repaired. Unknown to us, the shop would rotate vehicles in and out of the repair bays as parts arrived. They parked out RX out behind the shop for a day or two; just long enough for a critter to get up inside the dash and chew on the wiring harness up inside the steering column!
Can you imagine the havoc these critter could cause to an EV?? Is Toyota going to do anything to mitigate this kind of damage?? Yikes!!
I have a pic of the dash torn apart at the dealership.....Its SHOCKING!
saving my money for the Crown Signa ( hopefully they add more power in a sport or TDR model )
Crown sport may be the best looking car they make n 2025. We need more low slung cars with hatches.
Everything toyota for the next few years is looking really exciting 👍
is crown sport coming to US in 2024?
We need crown sport. I will be the first to buy it
Cool video.
Crown Signia would be my pick for 2024.
I want the new 4runner just so the prices of the current 4runner goes down 😭
I would be interested in in a 4 door hatchback Camry that looks like a sedan but is a hatchback because I really love the new Camry's interior.
If the range of Toyota's EVs stay within the 220-250 miles range. It just can't compete.
The RAV I think will be a 2026 model. They delayed the Camrys redesign by a year so I expect the same for an all their new models. If the Sienna moves to Japan, I think we’ll definitely get a prime version for the refresh!🤩
Rav4 is consistently following the Camry by a year, using the same powertrain
I expect Rav4 to be coming early in 2025, as a 2025, and then a 2026, in the Fall
I don’t think they’ll ever move Sienna production to Japan, as much as I want it to happen…
I think the US versions will be able to support prime versions considering the TX plug in is built in the US.
Really hope we get a Camry prime in 2026.
I hope the Rav4 won't be that long coming out. That's what I'm waiting on
Kirk, 2024 Stout with a Hybrid technology. 😊
Crown sport, FT-e, Brat.
Some great stuff coming. BZ5, Mini LC and Crown Signia are most significant to me - I guess I'll have to "settle" for the new LC until then :) I bet the Supra (being a BMW) will just be a minor styling refresh (and any in-line BMW underpinning updates) and the rest stays essentially the same. I just don't see pouring new investment in such a niche program. I would like to see the GR86 have another gen, and this time with the GR Corolla 3popper.
love my 2016 Tundra!
Mini Land Cruiser with 2.0 Diesel engine + hybrid
Definitely excited to see what a new RAV4 is going to look like.
Why are you hoping for plug-in hybrids when we dont have the infrastructure for it? Think I'll buy the 2024 Rav4, just in case they stop making regular hybrids
Is Crown sport coming to north America?
Kirk!! 😬 The NX has out done itself. The most sold since it's release. I'm only saying this because *cough* I'm excited for another sales video *cough* 😷😷
The key to NX's newfound success was building them in Canada.
RAV4 is months away, 30 Years Anniversary of it.
Any news of a Corolla Cross Prime in the works? It would seem natural seeing as the Corolla Cross and the Prius Prime are both built on the TNGA-C platform.
Can't wait for Toyota solid state batteries to come out
Man the streets need Toyota crown sport. I’m sad it ain’t coming to US
I can't wait for the new Corrola coming up soon !!
Excited for Stout
What's the update on Toyota's solid state battery technology? Is it true this will result in a fraction of size, weight and charge time with significant increase in range versus today's EV batteries?
I’m excited for the new Tercel
Bring back the Tercel 4WD Wagon!!!!!!
RAV4...planning to upgrade my Corolla Cross to a RAV4 in 2025
The RAV 4 better look like a BOX and replace the JEEP renegade and include tow hooks front and back!
What about the MR2?
New FJ will become a classic.
Highlander canceled? Did I really hear that correctly? Amazing.
maybe a little bigger Rav4 fills that void for those who dont need a 3rd row and the Grand Highlander takes over
Hi Kirk,
Are they going to make a Camry prime? Like Rave4 prime? Thanks 👍
There isn’t gonna be a plug in hybrid Camry. Just plain hybrid and maybe regular ones
I hope they do later on. Would be nice to have a higher performance option.
@@blackgold754There won't be any gas only Camrys.
Kirk, We should have a competition to see who 'can't wait' more than everybody else.😉Before I flood the Comments section with my overflowing wish list I will 'keep it real' by saying this, the biggest move Toyota could possibly make in 2024 would be the elimination of chronic wait lists for their Hybrids. This would make a massive difference for stressed out consumers and put an end to price gouging.😁 If you told me a year ago a new Toyota Wagon (Signia) was coming, I would have had a hard time believing it. Now I realize dreaming LARGE is the key! On my wish list for 2024 are the following: a) Land Cruiser FJ manual - It should be priced below $30K and built in the same Hino factory that made the FJ Cruiser b) 2 Door manual 4Runner- The return to 4Runner roots Toyota has hinted about c) GR Yaris for Toyota's most profitable market. d) Yaris Cross - A 65 mpg sub compact CUV would do well here. e) Corolla AWD Hybrid wagon- Ours should be based on the extended wheelbase Corolla Touring Sports not the shorter Corolla Touring f) GR Probox- Add the GR Corolla powertrain to the super practical Probox body ( as seen in your Tokyo walk-around) for a hyper practical rally car. g) Single cab Tundra with 1GR-FE engine, 8 foot bed and 6 speed manual- If Toyota/Hino won't build us a new T100, a single cab, Tundra will have to do the job. h) Hilux Workmate - Currently on sale in Australia for around $20,000, this bare bones pickup with a legendary 2TR-FE, manual transmission, 2,000 lbs payload and 5,000 lbs tow rating is every urban landscapers dream. Toyota could build workmates in Canada to avoid the Chicken Tax. i) 2 door Land Cruiser 70 Series- Equipped with the 1GR-FE V6 and manual gearbox, it could meet emission standards and be as safe/unsafe as a Wrangler 🤩🤞🤞🤞
Crown sport in the USA and yes prime please.
I would love to see them bring the new 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross hybrid to the US to use as a great commuter car. I think it looks nicer than the Corolla Cross and it gets better mileage.
Looking forward to the RAV4, and the 'Stout'. Just got a Maverick Hybrid so will be on the lookout for the Toyota equivalent for Future purchase
I want a Stout with a 5,000 lb. tow rating.
The one biggest problem I have with Toyota is….. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Toyota leads the industry and will continue to with their practical realistic strategy. Next year will be another industry boat rocker with more stunning Toyota/Lexus cars. 👏👍💪🤙🎉
Speaking of rocking boats, have you heard about the Daihatsu scandal? It seems like another Toyota affiliate has been be caught behaving badly.
Hey Kirk, So I order GH last month I was told " 18 months waiting" Friend of my try to order GH this month he was told by dealership " You cant order Sir because waiting now is over 2 years!!! My question is: How Toyota Dealership makes any money if u need to wait years for new Toyota? tx
Yikes.
I haven't finished the video before typing but when are the solid state batteries coming in their cars
What about the Celica?
I don’t know Toyota should combine the Land Cruiser and 4Runner together. Cause those two vehicles would look the same-ish design.
The new RAV4 should be a knockout.
I'd love to see a new corolla hybrid with the 2.0L engine as found in the Prius or Corolla Cross instead of the 1.8L.
They have been selling a 2.0 Hybrid Corolla in Europe for years.
@@rightlanehog3151 Yes, I know....I hope the same engine is mated to the hybrid in North America. Its more powerful and efficient.
😍😍😍Crown Sport!
If the Sienna actually moves production to Japan, I'd 100% want to see Toyota do a right-hand drive form of the Sienna for it to be sold in right-hand drive countries because I have tons of memories with the Sienna.
But in japan there is mny minivans lineup in toyota factory , there is toyota voxy, toyota alphard, even lexus LM
Great video as always Kirk, I'm a huge Toyota fan (I drive a 2024 Camry) thanks for all the information you provide!!
8 generation is the best design ever made
They should bring the meteor shower color too the grand highlander. It is lacking a grey color.
Crown Sport please!
So if the Camry is still on the same platform, Toyota can’t say it’s a new generation. Traditionally new generation vehicles have a different platform/chassis to the previous generation.
They CAN say it. You don't have to believe it. Ford has claimed the same nonsense with the F150 and the Mustang.
We are waiting for the Rav4 EV at 600 miles range
I want the Crown SPORT!
Kirk, love the video, but how can you talk about the future of Toyota with no mention of solid state batteries. They were going to unveil them at the 2020 Olympics, and that Olympics were delayed a year due to COVID and even then crickets. What happened? Did they not pan out? Do they not last through multiple recharging cycles? Please give us that story. I thought you said that was the future of Toyota. And how is that electric future changing?
