@@steve00alt70 if you want to cruise and trick what i do is get bigger wheels but are high on the FA scale (harder wheels) or learn how to get over rough terrain or just avoid rough terrain

I recently built a “cruiser”, I used a reissue Powell-Peralta 80s deck and Bones reissue wheels. I can’t bring myself to buy a cruiser without a kick tail, I feel like even while cruising I’ll still wanna Ollie Up a curb 🤷♂️

I agree that shape does matters and I could take a "Larry Longboard" Penny Size Cruiser Board for an example because it does not have the concave shape when you stand on it. This cruiser would have a convex shape and it makes it comfortable to stand on as well as different feel and you could put bigger size trucks and bigger size wheels. Peace, Flood!

On cruisers, the style is more of a carving feel. I know John is not used to them, but I'm just giving advice. Start to carve up and down sidewalks when you are skating, and feel free to put grip tape on them. Also if you can start to power slide with quick turns to slow down on hills. Keep up the good work!!

On amazon, there is a really nice cruiser board you can do tricks on. Its called a magneto cruiser board. I got it about a month ago and I really recommend it.

The single kick looks a lot like what kids in my area were skating in the 1970's and 80's. The urethane wheels made skateboarding in the neighborhood more fun.
John, how can I avoid feet pain when riding a skateboard? After sometime my board foot starts to hurt and idk why. TY :D
Seems like a shoe or foot problem. Try more comfortable shoes with a orthopedic insert, if it doesn't help I would see a doctor cause you could be flat-footed or have damage in the heel/tendon

Man, I could not agree with you more regarding focusing on the positive comments. I've been on the internet, kind of like, forever. The negative comments really don't matter. For a thousand reasons, they don't matter. Keep focusing on the positive, because that's what is going to make your day, your very existence, better. I still fail and reply to them on occasion, because I'm human. But over the years I've found the more I focus on the positive comments and ignore the rest, the easier it is to let those negative comments just slide off into the ether.
