- If you're looking for a challenging hike that you can't miss, then you should check out Ha Ling Peak! This hike is known for its photogenic views of the Canadian Rockies, and it's not easy - but it's definitely worth it!
Until a few days ago, Ha Ling was the only hike I had ever started and not finished. My first attempt was spur of the moment, when I was sick and for a sunset we didn't allow enough time for. A disaster all around really... Understandably I was due for a redemption so when the opportunity struck I took it.
On an early Thursday morning I decided to head up there solo. Doing it alone wasn't necessarily my intention but I wanted to achieve my own goals and not wait for others in order to do so. Completing this hike by myself came with an extra layer of accomplishment. I did it, I got to the top and I didn't need anyone else to do so. It was a nice reminder of what we are all capable when we put our mind to it. We can enjoy our own company and laugh at ourselves too. This summer I am focusing more on doing what I want and enjoying my own company in the process!

Iv done Ha ling A couple of times. Its pretty nice. First and second lookout is pretty simple. The last leg if the trip is just all stairs stairs stairs. Once at the top its a great view. Only think is, it can get really cold and windy at the top. Great training mountain

It took me 2.5 hours but Iâve seen AllTrails reviews saying they got up in 1.5 so I would plan for anywhere in between!
