Snowblower: Kubota BX2822A 55”

Very nice, Congrats! Nice and shiny looks beautiful, i like the front grill guard on the new machines too. Don’t forget to do the 50 hour service it’s very important.. also make sure to check your front Dif fluid level, and hydrostatic transmission fluid levels because they WILL go down over time as they work the air out. Also be sure to check lug nuts and loader mount bolts regularly for the first 50 hours as they can come loose and keep an eye out for leaking/loose hydraulic fittings also. Best of luck!

Leaking hydraulic fittings, yep had only one so far on the back side of the tractor transmission. Easy fix. I've checked torque on the lug nuts a few times, first time right after delivery I found about 3/4 of them were pretty loose. I need to check the loader bolts this weekend when I have it on the carport. So far in about a month of ownership, I'm pretty impressed what this BX2680 can do, just not so impressed with my dealer and their lack of communication, and follow through on stuff. They neglected to order my pallet forks and mower deck, so I don't have either and have no idea if I'll ever get either one. Thinking of pulling some money from my savings and ordering the Artillian pallet forks, could honestly care less about the mower deck now at this point, completely lost my interest in having one, I have a lawn tractor so other than the fact I paid almost $3k for a mower I don't have, and pallet forks.
11 hours on the tractor, no issues at all so far, but its new, we shall see in a few years what all breaks down on it. 50 hour service is pretty important, but I'll be doing it myself, at this point I'm not trusting my dealer to do anything right, and I don't want the hydraulic filter changed and let be, I will change the fluid as well. Guess I could contact my dealer and see what time next year to plan on getting my tractor back when I take it over for the service LOL. At least I'd be able to somewhat plan around it HAHA!!
@@wildbill23c I did a really good overview of my tractor and the techs at the dealer did a great job, everything was done very neat and tidy.
Nice setup Andrew, you won’t regret your purchase and you are going to love it when there’s a snow storm outside 😉😂, the snowblower is a beast. Time to have FUN 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️

Thanks Kevin, that slope in the driveway was too much for the Craftsman YT4000. It really made sense to get the BX23s with the amount of work to be done: Driveway refresh - Drain trenches - Garage pad - Snow clearing ect. After I did the math it will pay for itself in 2-3yrs.

This machine is awesome, you will love it. Not sure if you have any use for a grappler, but that is my favorite attachment. If you're going to be driving this in the woods, I would definitely recommend getting a skid plate for it.

Welcome to the BX club!!! Now order wheel spacers for the front and rear and DON’T buy the cheap ones. There’s 2 companies that make the good ones. It’s so much safer. What’s your life worth?

Hi Purple, so far it has been great. The R14 tires work well, pulls me up a 25% gravel grade with very little to no slipping.

Funny you ask about the OTC cab, it’s on order and should be here this week, on their site it says it won’t fit on the BX23s but it will, I will put a link of a guy that did the BX23s install. @@ticklemeorange8328 oh nice thanks. Just so I'm certain is it model 12078. Oh ya did you get the front lexan glass panel with the wiper. Especially if your blowing snow if you were plowing it wouldn't matter so much because of all the spray back in the windshield if it's windy...

If you can, get pallet forks with your new tractor... Much easier than hooking implements to your loader.😒
I ordered them with my BX2680. I've had the tractor, loader, box blade, and roto-tiller for over a month now, and still missing my pallet forks and 60" mower deck...so far I'm not impressed with my dealer in their lack of communication, follow through, and attention to detail. Told them on 4 different occasions that I wanted the pallet forks and mower deck...never was ordered...yet they sent someone from Idaho to Utah to get a tractor for me, yet they couldn't get pallet forks or the mower deck....Thinking of cancelling that order and ordering a set of Artillian pallet forks...at least maybe I'd get them sometime this year. The mower deck I could care less about at this point as I have a lawn tractor.
@@wildbill23c Hi William, I totally understand the frustration on waiting for equipment, it was a four month wait for me and would have been much longer if I waited even two more weeks to make the order. My salesman kept me updated and did what he could to make it happen as quickly as possible. It's really unfortunate that they didn't order the forks and deck with your tractor... I'm sure you're putting it to use in the mean time. :)... and I do hear the Artillian forks are very good.
@@ticklemeorange8328 Only have 11 hours on it, a lot of what I need to do is reliant upon pallet forks, so I may have to give Artillian a call and see what they can get me...trouble is the shipping cost makes them double the cost of the Land Pride forks.
What's was the overall cost with all attachments?

Hi Robert, I got mine with the third function-Snow Blower-Box Blade-Mechanical Thumb... was around 35000.00 Canadian, but believe prices have increased since the virus and supply issues.
