      Thanks Tekker, Love my BX23s. I was creeping your CZcams 😏and I see you are a new tractor owner too, I love the cab you got... But soooo expensive in Canada. As for the lack of snow you had when you got the tractor, you will have plenty through the full winter this year :)

      @@ticklemeorange8328 I am a new owner, but still waiting on some accessories I ordered back in Dec - silly supply chain issues. I also love the cab but recently found out you can't get the air conditioning for the BX23S cab because the roof tilts up. It's been over 100 here quite often and I'll need a fan at least since I can't get the AC. I know that cab is expensive everywhere but I hope it's not a lot more for you. I packaged it into my financing, otherwise I would never be able to afford it. As for snow, because we have been in a drought for several years I'm not sure if we will even get any this year. It's hit and miss but I know I have the equipment if it does snow. I'm a terrible youtuber. I've been using my tractor but not filming it. I need to get better at that. 😁

      Been thinking of getting one as well, they're just extremely expensive, and have a couple other attachments I need to get that would be used more frequently. I don't have a 3rd function on my tractor either so that kind of cancelled the grapple idea, way too expensive to have the 3rd function added on, and although it can be done yourself, its not something I'll attempt as from past experience anything mechanical like that I try to do myself turns into a nightmare, and costs me more money in the end. So I'll skip the grapple, and get the 4' rotary cutter instead, and at some point I'd like to get a sickle bar mower as well.

    • @ticklemeorange8328
      @ticklemeorange8328  Před rokem

      @@wildbill23c I did get the 3rd function with the tractor knowing I will need it. The sickle mower would be a nice to have...Hey, ill rent your tiller next summer ;) lol.

      @@ticklemeorange8328 Would be an extremely expensive rental because of shipping costs, and how long it took me to get the thing from my dealership I don't like letting people borrow anything of mine...tried that once, ended up with a very expensive replacement tool. I have a sign on my shop that says "NO TOOLS LOANED SO DON'T ASK" because of stuff like that.
      With the dealer issues I've had I'll skip the 3rd function, I'd never get my tractor back with the way they do business. It took me a year to get my mid mount mower, and only because I finally told them to either write me a check for a refund, or drive 8 miles across town and get one from the other Kubota dealer that's had them in stock all this time. They weren't too thrilled but I brought up the fact they sent someone to Utah from Western Idaho to pickup my tractor so there's no reason they couldn't have picked up the mower deck from them as well...or drove 8 miles down the road and got the mower deck. I think they finally realized I wasn't accepting their bullshit excuses. A month or two wait, fine, a year, and I'm making payments on something I don't have isn't acceptable. Took me about a month to get the tiller from them, and I had to go get it myself, along with the quick hitch, and several other items.

    Great job Andrew 😁👍 a backhoe is a great tool for tree stump removal. When you use a sawzall have you tried a pruning blade for it yet? They seem to work good. Thanks for the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳

    Been watching lots of videos of pulling stumps with the Kubotas. I have a b2401 due in next week for clearing my land. Not many videos of the bigger B01s pulling stumps, but there are a few more like your video of the BXs pulling and they seem to do a great job!

    Good stuff Andrew. I've come across a few huge tap roots myself. One last year was the same diameter as the trunk. LOL My Big Tool Rack has a built-in receiver and I also have a 3-point receiver from Titan I think. Both really come in handy! Thanks for sharing, buddy :)

      Thanks David, with the tap roots and rocky terrain it can be tough.

  • @wildbill23c

    I don't use the 3 point receiver hitch very often, but its sure convenient. When I move a trailer its because I'm going to be using it, so swapping attachments on the tractor to move a trailer on my property isn't very often at all, its nice though in the spring when I mow the pasture to be able to quickly hook onto a trailer and move it to mow, then put it back. The BX is only rated to tow like 1500lbs or something like that, so my utility trailer and small 14' flat bed are all I'm able to move, my car trailer I have to move with my pickup as it weighs 2400lbs.
    I have the quick hitch on my BX, so to use the 3 point receiver hitch, or my sub-soiler/ditcher I have to remove the quick hitch...its easier and quicker to use other methods than mess with dropping attachments and removing the quick hitch, as it never seems go all go back together without readjusting everything LOL. Quick hitch, only if everything you have is quick hitch capable, and even if it says it is, its typically not how you'd think it should be HAHA!!! I got the quick hitch because I use my roto-tiller & box blade mostly, both are quick hitch compatible....so it makes swapping between those 2 attachments much easier, the tiller is a pain no matter what you do because it wants to either roll forward or backward on you as you are trying to hook it up, the quick hitch kind of helps with that a little bit...my tiller is sitting on a pallet on a shelf, and chained to the pallet, otherwise the tiller will roll off when trying to move it around to hook it up to the tractor. That's one limitation I've found to be a bit annoying with the 3 point, it don't lift quite high enough to get the tiller off the shelf it sits on, another couple inches of lift would be more helpful, but then your hitch would be hitting the back of the tractor more so than it does normally.
    This is my 1st tractor, and still trying to learn and just when I think I figured something out, it creates a whole different problem HAHA!!!

    • @ticklemeorange8328
      @ticklemeorange8328  Před rokem

      Hi William, yes i wouldn't want to swap the hitch out everyday, but it is great when you need it... As for the towing capacity I think the 1500lbs is the 3point hitch lift capacity but I cannot find the towing capacity anywhere... but I have read of people towing 4000-5000lbs.
      Also, I will need a tiller next spring to redo part of my lawn, I would like to have one but pretty pricy. I will see if I can rent one for a couple of days.
