  • How was the forgotten Fleet of China found? And what was the aim of the expeditions of the Chinese fleet?
Exactly 600 years ago, in the summer of 1405, a huge armada weighs anchor in the port of Nanjing, China. Under the command of Admiral Zheng, 200 ships from China with a crew of 27,000 set out for the west. This is to be the first of seven voyages of discovery that will take the gigantic Chinese fleet via Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia to Iran and Africa. It is not until 100 years later that a European achieves a similar feat, when the Portuguese Vasco da Gama circumnavigates the Cape of Good Hope and penetrates as far as India.
But why is it also called Dragon Fleet? Find it out in our documentary!

Who was the amateur mixing your audio?
Translated speech should be overlayed higher than native speech so one can hear it.
Your mixer overlayed both at the same level.
Your producer sure did not care in quality work.

The Zheng He story is a novel, not history because it was too "awesome". You should have learned that, if something is too good, it is very likely it is not true. The Zheng He story meets this criteria exactly. For instance, the story tells us that his 317 ships appeared suddenly and disappeared suddenly. How can such phenomena be true?

@@legpol China closed all of its harbors after it, and refused any development towards foreign oceans, as they think they are the superior force at the time. As a result, this is why the outcome of the fleet was never mentioned in any records.

@@Terry-jr5mv : You told me that "As a result, this is why the outcome of the fleet was never mentioned in any records." But exactly the opposite was happening. For instance, the You Tube was loaded with the Zheng He fleet. And in 2018, the Chinese leader Xi Jinping told the Filipinos that Zheng He's armada had visited the Philippines many times.
Fortunately, to your surprise, the Filipino chief Justice Antonio Carpio denied it saying to Xi that Zheng He never came to his country. Mr. Xi kept quiet, admitting he lied. We saw, even a national leader could not prove Zheng He's historical nature. This inability of course revealed the falsehood of the Zheng He's fleet.

As far as the Zheng He voyages is concerned, I believe only his name is true and all the events related to him are not true at all. For example, Zheng He never spoke a word to all the foreign kings he met. How could this mute diplomacy be true?

@@jeremycoe7259 : Even if Zheng He could only speak Chinese, there were plenty of chances for him to speak, such as speaking to Arab kings thru his interpreter Ma Huan.
And there was the need to correspond to foreign kings in writing. He could only arrive at the sea shore while all kings were stationed many miles inland. Therefore there must be records in writing that could be read by us today. I believe the lack of such correspondence is the evidence for falsehood.

This Zheng He story was a big lie, or a novel transfigured into a history. Now it is being used as a propaganda to make China historically great. If you were a critical reader, it is very easy to find it to be rubbish. For instance, the principle figure Zheng He was reported through out the entire story as mute; he never spoke one word though he was reported to have met dozens of kings repeatedly for 7 times. Of course he never wrote one letter to any government and nor receive any letter from foreign governments. It was all unilaterally narrated by the Chinese.
