Buu is a Fun Challenge
As a golden Buu player. I wouldn't recommend picking up the turn into candy energy ability. It will not help lv2 Buu turn into lv 3 at all. Whether you have 20 talents into this or not, Fat Buu will always only need a mix of 3 Civs or Survivors. What it does do is make it so that Lv 3 Buu will turn into lv 4 with only 2 Civs and 1 Survivor (Rather than 2 Survivors and 1 Civ). I have played and recorded over 150 games as Buu and this talent I invested in has never once made a difference in any of those games.
Test it for yourself, take Lv 2 Buu into practice mode and see how many Civs it takes to get to lv 3. It will only be 3 no matter how many points are invested.

@Varis TheArcher Thank you Mr Archer. As a Sexy Golden Buu Boy, I'd take Summon Yamu, Angry Shout and Go Go Gum. The rest don't particularly matter after that. Just consider the below and pick your poison.
Energy perks on Buu only help in niche situations. Such as only helping lv 3 Buu or making Spop evolve with only 8 Survivor stabs rather than 9. Not terrible, but it's just worth considering about how often it'll come into play.
Taking lv 3 actives such as Ki Sense or Ill Bomber only give minor benefits, but will be useful every time you're Buu lv 3+.
The passive ki sense may be okay too, seeing people behind walls for longer is always handy and you don't even need to remember to use it on CD.

With the new buffs to spoopovich would this at all change your opinion about the point investment for buu?
@sidking2381 In regards to the Spop health change, right? I think it doesn't particularly change anything. Summon Yamu is still great.
@@scotti-pequeno thanks for the response. I believe they increased the evolution energy gained for spoopovich on civs as well as melee/Yamu. I have him at +10 and it takes me 3 civs or 2 civs and one fight with a survivor to transform now.

go-go gum is a great way to fight the lvl 4 survivor that's basically guaranteed to appear as buu
