I agree Ronnie and Dorian are my all time favourites. I love watching their workouts because they are so damn intense. Arnold's physique inspires me to want to be a bodybuilder.... Dorian and Ronnie make me feel like there is no point in even trying lol
Wanted to hear more of Dorian speaking but he barely was given the chance to say anything. A great pity because he was a great champion and I'm sure he had what to add to the discussion. As for the others they are awesome and it was very interesting to hear their stories and views on the sport. Thanks for uploading the video.
Have to say, I've never done body building though I was a professional sportsman. I grew up reading muscle and fitness etc. These guys were all my heroes growing up. Thoroughly enjoyed the vid.
I love how the two best with the most Olympias are the funniest and most down to earth guys.... Its also crazy to think Haney and Coleman were opposites when it came to training. Dorian is a no bullshit guy too which I like, and of course Arnold is the legend, but he is alot more cocky opposed to the other top Mr. Olympia winners
A lot of that was bravado. Him puffing up for fun. Yeah he was cocky. But years and years later he said a lot of the comments in the pumping iron video he made were for show. Because he was on camera.
Lee Haney.. "Dorian was a monster" Pride of Birmingham, Pride of GB put UK bodybuilding on the map.. Never really appreciated. Would of won BBC sports personality in 96/97
Great champions, all of them. Having said that, and not discounting all of their efforts in the gym, virtually all of these guys are genetically blessed. They nearly all have very short tendons across the board, meaning that they that have extraordinary muscle length where it counts. Take Samir, for example, when he extends his arm: the long head of his triceps goes nearly all the way down to his elbow joint. The average man's long head of his triceps stops half way down his humerus (with the remaining half being tendon), hence the much more limited potential for size. As for determination and mindset, well, they're a different story altogether; these guys have all of that in spades. But, without good muscle length, you can never achieve amazing development.
Very impressed with Samir's opinion/criticism. He had some very valid points. A lot of guys nowadays are coming in big, but they have that extended belly & are taking the bulkiness overboard...
Is there a part 1 to this? The video start right in the middle of a speaker?! Anyway great video, so inspiring to listen to all this great bodybuilders.
I started lifting when Arnold and Franco Colombo,Frank Zane etc. were the top Body Builders. But the perfect build then and now I thought, was Bill Pearl in his prime.Just my opinion.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is the greatest of all time. The 5 years that he retired before coming back in 1980 he could have won...And everybody knows that even though he had 7 Olympia wins and not 8,he is still the greatest body builder of all time and had a much better physique than some of the mass monsters around today...
Bodybuilding before this 2005 2015 era was the best, nowadays these bodybuilders look too much and too much big stomachs....that is not good for our beautiful sport.
No he never had the muscle definition to win the Olympia. He was very good back in the 70s and when he came back in the 90s, he was overweight, way too smooth and his proportions were all out of whack. His arms looked too small next to his chest, his calves were way too small for his legs, his waist, upper back proportion were messed up.
Lou is dead wrong. Bodybuilders from the 70s particularly Arnold in today's world would still have won the Mr Olympia a. With modern technique, supplements and steroids, he was genetically gifted already with muscle condition and . The only difference would have been, he would have been ripped at 275 - 280 lbs in Olympia instead of 245 - 250 lbs.
Arnold would never have won the Olympia based solely on his physique in this day and age. Gunter Schlierkamp was nicknamed the modern Arnold and only got as high as 4th and that was in one of the least competitive eras, once all the 90s guys retired or were way past their prime. Arnold's waist, height, sloping shoulders, weak legs( I do believe it was genetics) would never have allowed him to be Mr.O. Even during the 70s, he was incredibly lucky to have won some contests, he shouldn't have been Mr.O in 72, 75 or 80. If anybody from the 70s could've been Mr.O, it would've had to have been Sergio Oliva.
***** Serge Nubret, he was banned from the 75 Olympia, he was about 212 almost contest ready. Then they allowed him to compete 9 days before the show, he lost about 12 lbs of muscle by that point. 1975 Arnold was vulnerable.
The problem is that in bodybuilding, contest performance is based mostly on a subjective appreciation from the judges, and from year to year the same judges will tend to favor the same type of physique ; even if the top athlete hasn't improved or is in an inferior shape, and others have more than caught up in the mean time, he's still highly likely to get the top price again if he just shows up on stage and flexes and manages to stay alive until the end of the show - to the point where it can be ridiculous, like Dorian Yates' last victories, when he had an atrociously inflated midsection and torn tendons all over the place, and several contestants were better conditioned than he was (although none of them could beat him for back poses even at that point). Also, in the case of Arnold Schwarzenegger, charisma counts significantly - as Jean-Claude Van Damme put it, objectively speaking, he's a poor actor, but when he walks onto a stage (be it a bodybuilding stage or a cinema stage or a political stage), he's convinced that he is the best, and people all around can feel it, judges felt it too, and it certainly influenced them (at least some of them) more than they would have been willing to admit, that kind of thing goes beyond words and rationality, it's akin to a prehistoric instinct surviving up until today.
Arnold? No. But look at Lou when he did the masters Olympia...320+ lbs leading up to the show, lean & dry. Like an '03 Ronnie or '17 Ramy..... Using "today's" techniques and anabolics/GH/insulin. Arnold legs n traps n triceps etc... Woukdnt benefit from those things. Those are genetically weak muscle groups.u Serve nubret & Sergio Olivia wouldve also done well.
What about all these hate comments about Shawn? Yeah, he has an attitude, but this is not some kind of personality contest...the same goes to everyone who say this or that bb is dumb. Yeah, cause they are not there to be smart. They had exceptional bodies and Ray had one of the greatest. That's why he is a HoF, not because of being a nice guy.
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ABOUT LOUFERRIGNO LOOKS GREAT WITHOUT HIS SHIRT 👕 ON HIS MUSCULAR PHYSICALY PHISQUE IS SO SEXY ON LOUFERRIGNO'S BODYBUILDING MUSCULAR ManlySPHYSICALY HOT 🔥 🥵 PHYSICALY PHISQUE!
This is interesting how they look more "normal" after getting off the 'roids. Pay careful attention to Gaspari's and Bannout's calves. They're still pretty huge but just more 'normal' looking.
Lee Haney - A kind, humorous, charismatic man. THAT is a Champion.
lee doesn't get the props he deserves!
Forrest Camfiord true ! Living legend
Just the intensity of Dorian Yates's workouts deserves respect.
I love the back and forth between Haney and Gaspari. Both seem like good friends and good guys.
actually they are friends
I don't think Dorian Yates gets the respect he deserves.
I agree, but I believe it has something to do with that he's from the UK and not USA like the rest of them. It has a lot to say.
Like Samir who is Lebanese? :D I doubt if Ahnold would be there everyone were like "nah, he's just an Austrian dude..." :)
He gets the respect he deserves globally I think now , on this stage at that time he seemed marginalised a little though
@ghoney718 How dare you
Lee Haney is the greatest of all time, still my favourite today..:)
I agree. The only man who is big and proportional
would have liked to hear more of Dorian
I think that Dorian and Ronnie are the best bodybuilders of all time.. Arnold is legend, he is something else..
I agree Ronnie and Dorian are my all time favourites. I love watching their workouts because they are so damn intense. Arnold's physique inspires me to want to be a bodybuilder.... Dorian and Ronnie make me feel like there is no point in even trying lol
Mr.Haney is such a simple down to earth person!!! wow!!
amazing line up---Haney, Ronnie, Dorian, Lenda...
It was nice to hear Shawn and Dorian finally speak towards the end!
awesome what ronny said about lee haney at the and! it tells that ronny is bigger than his ego.
Coleman's vitamin A/porch speech pretty much breaks it down for those paying attention. Coleman is such a hilarious guy.
Awesome seminar!. Good to see all these legends together.
Lee Haney used to call Labrada Flea Labrada...but LL was bad ass, inspiring for us smaller guys
I liked at the end when Ronnie said that Lee Haney is the greatest of all time.He got great personality and he showed by saying that.
Wanted to hear more of Dorian speaking but he barely was given the chance to say anything. A great pity because he was a great champion and I'm sure he had what to add to the discussion. As for the others they are awesome and it was very interesting to hear their stories and views on the sport. Thanks for uploading the video.
He was nicknamed “The Shadow”, there's gotta be a good reason.
Thank you so much for uploading!
Haney and Gaspari come across as great guys, I mean real.
와우~^^ 👍 바디빌딩 레전드 챔피언들을 한 자리에서 보니 너무 멋집니다. 특히, 린다 머레이 너무 아름답네요.
True Legends of The Great Sport of Bodybuilding. Thanks for Uploading.
Have to say, I've never done body building though I was a professional sportsman. I grew up reading muscle and fitness etc. These guys were all my heroes growing up. Thoroughly enjoyed the vid.
all of 'em still look pretty damn good to me...
This is awesome.
Just greatnes.
Hope to see that again.
I love it.
They were all great..
Awesome seminar.

I Love it! friendship and old times...
Wow these guys are just larger than life, save Arnold, franco, Zane, these guys are legendary
Thanks.....this was great.........Big Ron closed the show just right with that photo of all the champs
Thank you for sharing. Great video
Great video, They all still look real big!
Bannouts lower back striations were the most amazing eye opening ever to witness
You gotta love Lee Haney!😃
"A little Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E..... Well, DAMN! I ain't takin' none o' dat!!"
Lee Haney.. "Dorian was a monster" Pride of Birmingham, Pride of GB put UK bodybuilding on the map.. Never really appreciated. Would of won BBC sports personality in 96/97

This is awesome.
Best bodybuilding video ever!
15:36 still two of my favorites!! and add Branch Warren!!
"Lou, don't stand in front of Shawn Ray", ahaha that one got me
Great champions, all of them. Having said that, and not discounting all of their efforts in the gym, virtually all of these guys are genetically blessed. Lou has a big frame standing at the end next to all the panel he is a big guy
height and width, all of them are in good shape for their age
That doesn't work as well as you'd think.
Roni sigue estando una bestia..grande rey
It was an unbelievable seminar. All legends on the same stage reminiscing about good old days. I wish Dorian took more chance to speak though :D
Great upload!
Very impressed with Samir's opinion/criticism. He had some very valid points. A lot of guys nowadays are coming in big, but they have that extended belly & are taking the bulkiness overboard...
@ 40:05 ........... I love the way RONNIE COLEMAN spoke about the great LOU FERIGNO
The prettiest though he is the oldest is Lou
Look how healthy and good shape
Awesome!
Waow! this is one of the best on stage realtime interjuves on the web.. or what do you guys think? i have look at a more then 100+
Samir had an awesome back
To me, Lee Haney is the greatest. But I always liked Lee Labrada, too.
Is there a part 1 to this? The video start right in the middle of a speaker?!
Anyway great video, so inspiring to listen to all this great bodybuilders.
Vince Taylor still in good shape.
now that was cool, thanks for the vdo
lol when Ronnie talks about vitamins, it's actually about roids
I started lifting when Arnold and Franco Colombo,Frank Zane etc. were the top Body Builders. But the perfect build then and now I thought, was Bill Pearl in his prime.Just my opinion.

Heroes!
Wow! Talk about fine wine, Lenda Murray looks great! I don't think too many 25 year olds could stand up to her.
She's very elegant...
Bodybuilding before this 2005 2015 era was the best, nowadays these bodybuilders look too much and too much big stomachs....that is not good for our beautiful sport.
Lee Haney is a class act.
Arnold wouldn't have let any one else talk. He would have literally talked the whole time.
Lee Haney. He got Arnold and Dorian mold into two. To my opinion.
Labrada still looks great.
4 mr olympia winners are on the stage.
this was film whit a rock
Stage overloaded with muscles
Pose down on that stage Coleman still in the best shape
Excluding Haney, Lou & Samir...I'm curious as to who would win in a pose down. Hmmm....
Maybe LouFerrigno!
I agree with you.
Its too bad Lou Ferrigno didn't compete longer. He could have won several Mr Olympia.
KLRGT500KR i agree, he should've came back in the 80's against Haney.
KLRGT500KR I think he could've taken franco or zane after arnold's run
David J but given nubret and oliva wasn't there....I know they had a fallout with weider so that probably wasn't an issue.
***** Not with those calf implants
Старая гвардия вместе собралась!

Arnold legs n traps n triceps etc... Woukdnt benefit from those things. Those are genetically weak muscle groups.u
Serve nubret & Sergio Olivia wouldve also done well.
Arnold would have stepped on stage at 300lbs if he competed today. He was taking baby amounts back in the 70s when he weighed 235 in Pumping Iron.
I wish I was in the audience! 😦
Kevin Levrone needs to be here with Flex and Shawn
Look at the legs on Lenda 👠 🥰
hmm u could read the future bio bc u seem 2 know u will out live them
But we miss a Kevin Levrone in this seminar! And Arnold? Frank Zane?
I don't think Ronnie will ever be small
See him now. It's so sad 😭😢
Honeybadger Media it really is 😢 I just look at his old vids to feel better
100% correct without any shadow of doubt......personally I will always prefer Flex's physique over Ronnie's but there's no doubt Ronnie is the GOAT.
Why isn't Emo Phillips up there? What the hell?
Shawn Ray still lookin aesthetic as FUARK!!!
What about all these hate comments about Shawn? Yeah, he has an attitude, but this is not some kind of personality contest...the same goes to everyone who say this or that bb is dumb. Yeah, cause they are not there to be smart.
They had exceptional bodies and Ray had one of the greatest. That's why he is a HoF, not because of being a nice guy.
i love arnold but i must say ronnie is the greatest!
samir he stay good in schape
HAney is a badass
when ronnie talked about flex tellin him to take vitamins did he mean steroids? :D
yep
Luy luys He was actually talking about GH/insulin
howmany of those actually won mr olympia?
lee and rich is enjoying it hahaha
I agree, Arnold would easily have won 1976-1979.. he retired very young and if he would continue competing he would have won at least 11 or 12 time
Lou gonna DO
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ABOUT LOUFERRIGNO LOOKS GREAT WITHOUT HIS SHIRT 👕 ON HIS MUSCULAR PHYSICALY PHISQUE IS SO SEXY ON LOUFERRIGNO'S BODYBUILDING MUSCULAR ManlySPHYSICALY HOT 🔥 🥵 PHYSICALY PHISQUE!

"Light Weight!!!"
This is interesting how they look more "normal" after getting off the 'roids. Pay careful attention to Gaspari's and Bannout's calves. They're still pretty huge but just more 'normal' looking.
shawn ray not talking??? whats up ??lol
