CHI has a 72V battery for the XXX now..would be cool to see the nuclear with the 72V

@@inzetajacklon1278 I'm thinking 2 profile settings. 1 72v profile and 1 60v profile so you can switch them out

@@christopherbadillo3342The battery is not hard to swap at all. Comes with quick release bolts now. Takes me less than a minute to swap out everyday to bring it inside of my job to charge.
I have a 72 V chai battery with this controller. I can’t get it to go faster than 25 mph.
what's interesting is that controller/display combo could potentially add actual pedal assist for lower speed pedaled riding under power if you equipped it with a torque or cadence sensor, making the pedals actually practical

It is kind of sad, but I appreciate you guys trying it out. Still happy with my XXX black edition. If the battery or anything dies I will just get something else. Btw, the weather in Fl is great, but still no mountains.
I’m going to save up for a xxx, I love the urban theme of them, and the fact that you can still off-road with them, this controller and the chi battery are definitely good to know that they’re out there just in case…

Looks good. One thing I might recommend after unplugging the battery, is turning the key on for a second and letting it discharge any power that might be stored in the controller.

Definitely try messing around more with the amp settings as something is really off. I found someone on FB that runs a x9000 and he runs 8.7kw 110BA 450PA 50% FW at 65A. Apparently Ebmx suggests 100BA 400PA and to turn FW off completely so maybe also try that? Your phase amps is super low and just offhand your FW amps seems really high especially when you are getting only 1mph more, I would set it to 0 and then set the settings above. After slowly raise the FW amps till any cutouts occur
This is wht im saying an thinking hea definitely doing something wrong or it's just the nuclear control... even cody Ewing says we can run up to 8.6kw with no triping the bms

What’s reid’s height btw?, i’m 5’ 11 190lbs and wondering if the x3 would be too small for me. It would be awesome if you guys could find the time to make a size comparison video of the x3, sting r, and pro ss discussing comfortability for different sizes riders, I haven’t seen a single video on CZcams about that topic.
Nah thats a perfect size. Im 5'10" 177lb and its perfect for me. I raised my seat 2 inches and put taller tires now its harder to reach both feet flat on the ground
Ya you would fit just fine on a xxx and would enjoy it for sure! Yes hopefully in the future we can do some size comparisons.

Considering you can flash the international version w/ Luna's tune for $50, I wouldn't reckon its worth it for the international one either. Only worth it if you're replacing the battery.

Question: How much dirt ends up in and around all of the critical electrical components?
I understand they're sealed/potted/water/dust proof/resistant.
When cleaning a filthy bike, is the dirty mostly superficial/external, or does it get packed into crevices around the battery, controller, motor, horn, etc?
Is one type/model more dirty than others?
Not much in reality. They are pretty sealed up and easy to clean.
I was hoping the xXx battery would be like the surron where you could run 8-10kw on stock battery :( kind of sad you only get 100 more watts and a little bit more acceleration
You can get more definitively somebody with a talaria xxx pushes 8.7 kw

The controller but with the Surron or Talaria kits they are over $800. I know you get them for free but did you get the $825 kit or just the raw controller?
We got the full kit for the xxx, I believe it costs $840 out the door from there website.
I understand taking off the top cap to replace with the display mount... Was there any reason to loosen the bars?
We didn’t loosen the bar, we loosened the side bolt of the stem, which is necessary. When you loosen or remove the top cap you have to also loosen the sides of the stem because when you tighten the top cap it tightens the headset together which has to be done with the side bolts loose which is why we did it in the order we did.
We need to see this setup paired with a 72v battery

Yes ours came with the 3d printed version bracket but in the future probably already they are sending with nice injection molded plastic brackets.

what would you do to setup the battery with a 72v like what would u change
Just change the battery voltage in the controller settings and raise up the power since it can take a lot higher numbers

I believe you do because that’s the only way to set the controller up.

Your belt could be crooked or chain could be stiff and need lube

No you can’t. Not without having your headset come loose later. You have to loosen the stem and then tighten the top cap bolt first and then tighten the stem again.

@@silvan125 since you have the bluetooth module and i saw in this video they forgot to disconnect the display. I am wanting to just get the controller without the screen and use my OEM screen and you app for configuring changes etc. Maybe my phone occasionally.

I tried it without Display and with Phone and app but the Phone is a bigger Display 😅
So i put the nucular Display back on the bike 😅 i like the nucular display more than the big roadlegal display what is similar to the display on the eride pro ss
I change my settings with the app
But Keep the nuc Display as speedometer and to See my motor Temp and battery percent on the fly
It is clearer to See on nuc Display as on a eggrider Display i belive 😅

Talaria boys forgot to unhook it and it looked powered on but wondered what info it showed and what worked on it. I am 100% off-road and have an Mx bar with bar pad setup no room for phone or big display.

Bac4000 wouldn't be any better than this controller. In fact its much worse in a lot of ways. So many better controllers than that now.

This video was very poorly put together if this is supposed to be a guide on how to install this. ... This wire goes there (points camera to a general area, this nut goes here and then ....oops I did it backwards . Cuts video to other side of bike and starts showing somthing else ,zip tie here and here . Lol it was allll over the place. Cool bike though.
