the fact that you dont care if I subscribe or like the video immediately made me do both
Haha - perhaps a refreshing change. 😂
Honestly, same lol
FACTS 👍🏽😊!!
LOL. It was funny.
Same!
Ok, seriously dude. One of the best review videos I've seen, period. Not just for this bike, but for anything. You've got the knack. You've got a classic voice for radio that translates perfectly to CZcams, the video quality was great, editing held my interest, I could go on. I don't care what you say, but I hit the like button AND I subscribed. MORE PLEASE.
Well Stephen, seriously, one of the best comments I've ever received, period 😁Thank you!
Love the comments, guys! This was my first video and I didn't plan on doing another one, but I'll try to do more now that the feedback was encouraging. Thanks, all! 🤘
This is the most honest, most informative review I've seen on this bike, please keep creating more content like this
Thank you so much! That's very kind of you 🤘
Just starting your video and from someone who's made just a few videos in the past, one with 300k+ views, as your suspicions may have told you, you've got an excellent narrating voice! You speak very well and should consider dabbling with videos when ya can. You will easily be able to retain an audience's attention with your "talking skills". Definitely a voice for radio or video. Keep it up....now back to watching your video..
Oh wow, you're way too nice━thank you for saying that!
Agreed!
Dude you are HILARIOUS 😂. I actually live here in Austin as well and truly appreciate you making this video! Literally answered every question I was having. I’m definitely scooping this model now. Thanks!
Haha thank you, kind sir! Maybe I'll see you on the road sometime - I'm usually in Birkenstocks :)
Great review, actually one of the best reviews I've seen for anything!
Thank you, Larry - that's kind of you to say!
Just pulled the trigger on the RX Mojave. Thank you for your fantastic video! Great video and sound quality, shows all the views of the bike I could dream of + your review was useful.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the kind note.
I’m looking at buying an RX this summer so this review was super helpful. Thank u!!
That's awesome! Surely
Thanks for sharing. I just got the RX. Can’t wait. 😊
Hope you're enjoying it! I'm still loving mine.
Very much liked your video, one of the few ones I've watched all the way through. Great job 👏
That's very nice of you to say, thank you!
Audio quality on this video is incredible👌🏾
Thank you, kind sir! Just for you!
Thanks for the great and thorough review video… you also answered my questions about my local riding regulations since I’m in San Antonio lol Made my purchase right after your review!
Haha that's great to hear! I hope you enjoy it. Yeah, you shouldn't have a problem riding it anywhere in San Antonio 😁
You should make more videos. I enjoyed this one!
Thanks, Jared! Maybe I will :)
Love the disclosure at the beginning
Thank you :) I'm definitely an amateur here for sure, so thank you!
For someone who is not a you-tuber/reviewer, this video was amazing! Best bike review I've seen yet, and I've watched a lot of em. Great job! I feel like I know a lot about the bike already - very thorough, honest, and straight forward. You've certainly got the talent to be a you-tube reviewer if you should chose to.
Hi Daneil, thank you very much for the great feedback! I really appreciate it. Well who knows... the way the world is going now, maybe I'll have a good backup job idea. Thanks, again!
Most helpful review! Thank you!
Thank you!
Thanks man, by far the most useful review I found online for this bike.
Thank you, kind sir! Glad it was helpful.
That was a fun review, thanks!
Thank you!
finally a reviewer I could actually hear and understand and wasn't annoyed by. 5 stars on the video sir.
Thank you, Sheldon! Glad you enjoyed it 🤘
Absolutely appreciate this video.
You should do more reviews .
Thank you, Jason! I'm definitely no expert, but it was fun doing this.
Awesome review!
Thank you!!
Thanks I appreciate your video while I’m deciding what to get!
Your welcome, kind sir!
such an awesome reviewer, earned my support!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for making this video! You've definitely helped me make my decision.
Glad I could help!
Love the honesty in the review. Good video 🤟
Thank you, kind sir!
Wow, what a great review, you have the talent for this, hope you do more reviews. Thanks
Thank you, Bryan!
It is better video than expected.
And this is a nicer comment than I expected, thank you!
Yup! I was riding my super73 around Big Bear, California and everyone was staring asking where i bought it, how fast it goes and even were taking pictures of it when i was at the brewery. Super73 turns heads.
Yeah it definitely does that! And I get the feeling when people ask me about it that people are curious about it not because it's an e-bike, but because it's this particular e-bike (Super73).
Great review, really enjoyed it, good work..!
Thank you!!
Blacked out Super73 looks great.
Agreed!
Fantastic and very informative video. I rarely write comments but this video warranted a comment.
Thank you
Thank you, Christopher! Very kind of you.
I have the same exact bike. Looks great, I can transport it in my pickup truck, and I just use it to explore and cruise. I’ve found little parks, marinas, restaurants, and so much more while having a blast.
That's awesome! I used to have a truck - that would be nice to be able to do that (not sure if people put these on bike racks somehow)
Same here I love my S2 and my S1!❤️🔥
Thank you Riley, exactly what I needed to make my decision on a Super73. They should also know about you're unbiased opinion. I am excited....
Of course! I might make an updated version sometime in the coming weeks or months. Not many of my opinions have changed about the bike with my experience so far. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you for your great review that made me buy one too.
There is not much content to find of the Mojave.
Please more stuff of your 73 rx
Thank you! I might do an update on it soon - I just passed 1000 miles.
outstanding, authentic review. many thanks
Thanks for watching!
Got to give it to yah how you review the bike👏🏼 nice informative video Riley J, keep up the good work 🤙🏼
Thank you!
Great video man. I can relate a lot to you. Well done
Thank you, kind sir! 🤘
As long as you like it, that all that matters! 😊
Yes sir! Very true.
Excellent video. Thank you.
Thank YOU for watching!
Awesome video! Very informative and kept my interest. I’m in the market for a fat tire ebike and have narrowed it down to a few now. One being this, another being the grizzly you mentioned, and a few more of the mountain bike type design. This video was super helpful. Hope you continue to make more videos. Thanks.
Thank you, Mike! I'm glad you found it useful. I'm definitely no expert on these things, but sometimes a review from an amateur user can give you another perspective.
Thank you, Mike! I think there are a lot of great e-bikes out there that fit what you're looking for, although I'm no expert. Thanks, again!
FreeGo DK 200, 20 amp 1200w with Shinko 241. 3 X 16 motorcycle trail tire fits $1399.00, bought two
Perfect! Thats what i was looking for.
Glad you liked it!
Ty! Dope! love the all black! ❤️🔥
Yes sir!
Great video, very informative! Watching you ride one-handed made me very nervous though afteer having suffered a bad crash on an e-bike that resulted in 10 stiches xD The Super73 looks really sweet though!
Ouch! I made it through this one but definitely don't make a habit of it. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, I made up my mind after this video. Also getting RX Mojave in obsidian
Awesome! It's a great color for the bike.
love the grizzly tires on that bike !
Likewise! They're one of my favorite parts, for sure.
great video , you need to be a youtuber cause the quality and voice aspects are spot on thanks
Oh man, you're too nice. I guess you can do a lot with a phone camera and a $50 microphone these days.
Thank you!
@@YeahBubbaGaming riley it was a great review, lots of info and real world humor lol , now i want one too lol
great review 👍
Glad you liked it. Thanks!
Great Video!!
Thank you!! Much appreciated.
I'm still trying to figure out whether I want the Super Mojave model, or if I want to get the P-51 from a competing company. I **will** watch **every** single video I can find until I finally make the decision. I was gonna ask about torque and going up steep hills, but you answered that question. I live in an area with a fair share of pretty steep hills, so I will take that into consideration for my future purchase. Thanks for the info, sir!
Nice - thanks man. Yeah, if you live in an area with hills, this thing is definitely not the right bike. It's a cool bike though - just a little expensive.
Thanks for doing a review of this bike from the perspective of a normal user and not one of these cultists that all the other videos seem to be by.
My pleasure! Sometimes it's better to hear reviews from people who aren't emotionally or economically attached to what they're reviewing. This is the first review I've ever done for anything, and I probably won't do another because I'm not that into producing content, but I'm glad to hear it was at least somewhat helpful. Thanks for the kind comment!
That Mojave looks beautiful
It's a nice design, for sure!
Great review! Looks like you got a nice frolfer down the street from you
For sure, there is! Thank you!!
Loved this video
Hey there - thank you so much! Glad you liked it.
Im sub, nice vid
dude mine arrives on thursday i cant wait im in scotland
So cool - have fun, Charlie! When I got mine I didn't charge it all the way first like they said for first use because I was too excited. So far the battery has still been fine, but I probably would have done that looking back.
Thank Sir,
Your are the man!
You're very welcome!
Been watching a lot of ebike videos and the free reign that everybodys had in those videos are amazing with the speed and little restrictions you have. Sadly yes, eventually there'll probably be more rules and we may even need to get even 20mph ebikes registered, so I really want to take advantage of it right now for commute and just cruising around.
For sure - yeah, that's a good point.
Got me interested... from Custom Harleys to electric beaters. Who knew.
Ha! Oh man... I'm jealous. I'm open to a trade 😂
I can't sit through Review videos longer than 5 minutes, but the way you articulate + your voice makes it easier
Thank you so much!
Tyre sound effect was legit 13:43 I’ve started beat boxing to it too at events. Keep replaying it and me you don’t see this happening
Ha!! Too funny
Great review!! even more so for a 1st video, I hope more do come!
It'd be great to see you do comparison videos with Super73's E-bikes (Mojave vs ? ) or any other equivalent E-bike
Again great vid, clear, easy going, and in depth opinion and even appreciated the riders rights/law info etc, lastly so glad you based it off experience and not off the specs
im in the market to buy something just like this but will review the hell out of it before i go all the way so thanks for covering a lot.
The looks of the Mojave look great to me but also the SUPER73-R /S ADVENTURE SERIES (it appears to be the same bike/specs but would be curious if the only difference is the battery placement and the longer seat?)
Cheers!
Thank you! TBH I don't know the differences - I like this bike a lot, but I really am not sure if I would spend the money on it again... it's just gotten so expensive like everything else now.
Good video, thanks
Thank you, Ronald! 🤘
It is a beautiful bike to look at. But that's about it... I got rid of my super73 Rx 3 months ago wasn't what I expected after spending $4,000.. And yes I did order the Hideous Ariel . LOL! better bang for my buck.
I don't care about the looks that much, even though the RX looks super awesome. Compared to my hideous Ariel Rider.. my brother got the spark Bandit . really nice bike also.
I'm just wanting the bike the function and function properly. . & hopefully some good customer service whenever the trouble arises . Because they all do at some point.. Ariel Rider has been in business for a good while now.. so we'll see...
That was a great review my friend. Happy riding🍻💥
Haha yeah I'd love to ride something else sometime to feel the differences. Well good, and thanks for sharing! Happy riding
I have the super 73RX Mojave, and I upgraded it with 172 volt5,000 watt motor 60 amp power battery 200 amp controller and it's amazing
i hope u mean a 72 volt and not a 172 volt 😅
That's cool - I would love to check that out.
Thank you 🙌
You're welcome!
Thanks for showing us this video you should make more videos your videos are great 👍
Thank you, Touraine! I really appreciate it.
@@YeahBubbaGaming no problem
@@YeahBubbaGaming and when you get the package do you have to buy tools to set it up?
Very Cool video! Thank You🇺🇸👍✌️
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you
Nice video! Question: from your experience and research, would the super 73 ZX do well on similar trails you were on such as rail trails, or would the lack of suspension cause too much grief?
Yeah I think the ZX would do just fine on light gravel type of trails with occasional bumps, but if they became too "mountain bikey" then I can see how it would be too rigid. I beat my RX up a lot on rough trails nowadays and am happy with the suspension.
Dam this guy seems so laid back and reasonable
Thank you, kind sir!
Well done sir
Thank you, kind sir!
Great video. I appreciate the candor. I just purchased an S2. Has the front shock but not the rear one. I put off the purchase of an e-bike because it was annoying that friends kept saying, “get one, you’ll love it.” It felt trendy and I avoided it. Well I love the bike and the fun factor is huge on this thing. I’m a child of the 70’s so the retro-ish design hooked me. Now I’m starting to customize it. Pegs, Drink holder, phone mount, milk crate on the back. My girlfriend says it looks like it’s a homeless bike now because of the crate. I told her not to be jealous. Then we both rode it tandem and she likes it now. The only thing I didn’t like on it is how the chain guard rattled. Took it off. Problem solved.
Haha love it! Thanks for the comment and definitely keep the crate 🤘
Amazing video
Thank you!
Looks a little on the small side for you, if you're comparing the ride with a more regular bicycle set up.
Maybe the use of 2 seatposts under the elongated seat which would allow for both height and angle adjustment plus some setback...... basically give riders of different dimensions options, which would be nice.
That would be cool. Yeah I think it could probably be a little bigger for me, but it's not far off. The wide angle lens kind of distorts some of the image though, which might make it look a bit smaller than it really is. Thank you!
For the capabilities I went with the Grizzly and I have been having a blast, but I agree the Super 73 looks a lot better.
Yeah there are times I definitely want the Grizzly for the power no doubt. Thank you!
IMO you should totally be a reviewer
Thank you SO much! I'll consider it a backup gig with the way the economy is going :)
good job on the video Riley. Have an Aventon Sinch which I really like, but been thinking about purchasing a non-foldable bike as well (my sinch currently down awaiting replacement male contact terminal... as the battery must have arced, burning both!) The 73 is a cool bike but I'm not sure about a non-adjusting seat.
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I can see what you mean by not having an adjusting seat. Like a lot of things on this RX, it's form over function.
Thanks for the information…
You got it!
This made my final 3- but i went with Spark Cycleworks Bandit.
Ur right, the Ariel is too hideous! Lol
It is more dis-assembled when shipped. More grunt, but lower top end- where i spend most of my time riding.
More power on the Bandit, higher top speed, range than all the other scrambler bikes in this class. Pedal-able at 40mph with the huge crank, and has 7 speeds. Low end torque to get you up hills. Huge display and motorcycle horn.
U have to throw mods at the 73 to wake it up
Awesome - never heard about it, will check it out.
should rather performance
I don't know but upgrading those bikes in one moment and point let you to fill like you receive brand new bike every time you mod it, I do not have super73, I have Dutch brand Phatfour but for me adding something to my bike stretch happiness like forever.
Thank you for the comment, Damian! Yes, absolutely - whatever makes you happy 😁
When I saw the bike from Daniel labelle's video, that bike is the thing I only wanted now ,but it cost too much.
Yeah, for sure - it's not an easy decision for most people, and it wasn't for me either.
@@YeahBubbaGaming what other ebikes were you considering? Do you have any recommendations for someone in a hilly place? I'm in the South Bay of LA and some of my neighbors have them. Thank you! Great video
@@sharingstoke if I was in a hilly place, I would probably look at some of the higher end models of the Ariel Rider class, but I would have to swallow a pretty big pill for how they look because I'm not a real big fan of their design, but I hear they have a lot of torque
I had a similar situation on my Ducati with footrests for my son. I ended up buying an inexpensive set of framesliders for around $40. The only disadvantage is they wouldn't fold up. There are lots of "highway peg accessories" aftermarket for motorcycles that may be better quality and not leave you broke.
Thanks so much for the tip! I'll check some of those out━with the tapers on the bars in some spots it would mount on, it's kind of difficult to make sure I'd order the right sizing but I'll give it a shot.
I agree the ariel doesn’t look quite as good.... until you ride it. The grizzly is quite literally 2x the bike of that super 73. After riding each one I’m super confused why people are paying that much for the 73
I hear you - I'd love to ride the Grizzly sometime. These two bikes just need to merge together. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)
@@YeahBubbaGaming absolutely.
It's hard to judge a bike purely by its look because beauty is in the eye of the beholder, with that said I personally the super73 looks better. However I'm curious how the suspension stacks up against a tsdz2/bafang mid drive build with real full suspension mountain bike. I like these bikes but it's hard for me to justify these prices on looks alone, my builds cost me barely over $1k total and is very off road capable. I love the look/suspension of the enduro/dh bikes. Also my experience with a lot of these e bike brands reusing the same DIY motors available to us, is that they rarely come calibrated nor tuned to pedal and throttle very well(very on/offish, lack of sensitivity/control).
@Riley J. Thanks for posting this vid, getting ready to pull the trigger on one these, and wanted to see if i could get a better view of the different colors for the Mojave. Question for you, how long did it take for it to ship when you ordered it? The super73 site says a dark earth and obsidian colored Mojaves' ships within 4 to 6 weeks. lol and the Blue tang color only ships within a week ( way to loud of a color for me)..
Hey man! When I ordered mine, it also said that it would take 4-6 weeks to ship. However, I chatted them within a week, and they said that it had already shipped, so I'm not sure if I got lucky or if something else happened. They use some random logistics company, but it was overall a good experience. Once it shipped, I want to say that it was only a few days or so until they were calling to schedule a delivery.
If they forbid off pavement riding, then the tires should be with less aggressive tread design. Would be quieter and possibly increase the range. Seems like the aggressive tread design practically invites/suggests off pavement use. Anyway, great review.
For sure - yeah, it's very misleading. Thank you!!
Im agree w you ,this bike its beautiful it looks amazing specially the other model whit the 73 numbers at the sides ,the FOX ONE,,,LOVE IT,,if this bike would have the specs of the grizzly im talking about the power would be the best bike of the entire world,,,
I agree, 100%. Thanks for the comment!
How do you like the ram X mount? I got one for my moto years ago and my phone kept falling out. Def a stout mount but I had to ditch the x and get one that enclosed around my phone. 🤷♂️
Oh man! I love it. I haven't had any issues with it falling out, but then again I don't ride it like a dirt bike or anything - it seems very rocks solid with my phone on a rubberized case, maybe that's the difference, not sure.
Riley Riley Riley the people have spoken i read the comments they want more myself also GREAT JOB👍✌
Thank you, Amy!
Tried to buy the RX but they told me the nearest repair shop was in Toronto Canada. Just because the bike looks good it may not be the right ebike to buy. Ride safe.
For sure! Yeah, it may not be.
Cool! :)
Thank you! 🤘
Real nice vid
Thank you!
I know that you said it has low torque but can you ride wheelies on the pedal assist mode? Thanks for the awesome review, good job!
I'd be impressed if anybody could, but I'd love to see that! Perhaps if they have some thunder thighs :)
Heads up a good idea is to invest more in spare parts for this bike, just in case for the future because they always finishing the stocks
i kinda feel like the tires are over kill but i really want the suspension and everything else this bike offers.
Yeah, they might be. I ride it mostly on uneven pavement/sidewalks, and I run the tires a few PSI short of full pressure for a smoother ride.
The lectric Super73 ebike i'm planning to get in the future since i already have the lectric 2.0 and i'm already loving it but as that i think the Super73 is way better then the lectric 2.0 and i'm planning to make the Super73 to be my personal car instead if i don't want to waste money for gas all time if i'm going to make small trips around my area.
Honestly, if I didn't buy this to get to work occasionally, I probably wouldn't have done it. Everybody's situation is different and I probably didn't need to spend the money on THIS particular bike (which is pretty expensive IMO), but it still saved me from having to get a second car.
Hi, I have a super73 RX, I often ride with my son on his Ariel Grizzley. Long rides on the Super can be a bit uncomfortable, but it is a fun and nice looking ebike. Though it can't outride the Grizzley. That ebike is fast, he left me in the dust...lol.
@@windy3156 thanks for sharing! That's cool that you and your son ride together like that. Hoping to do that some day with my sons.
Great review, but switch to a Quad Lock phone mount. Ram mounts wear out and become trash after a while. Quad Locks will last longer and be more secure.
Yeah I might look into that - the Ram mount is holding up fine except for the rubber pads that go on the metal posts.
Bravo 👏👏👏
Thank you!
I live in Hutto! We should meet up for a ride sometime. I got my RX in March.
For sure! That's awesome.
What happened to the rest of the videos on the channel?
I want the regular rx but they dont have the black one so i might pull the trigger on this mojave because of the black colorway frame. This is obsidian colorway right?
Yes it IS Obsidian i got Olive drab RX Font know whats the Differenz but its great
That's correct - this is Obsidian. Thanks!
