- Using my new Jenkins Backhoe to dig a new waterline and installing a water facet in the middle of our farm. We bought this backhoe attachment for our Kubota Skidsteer from Legacy Iron Llc out of Grain Valley Mo, a suburb of Kansas City. My first impressions of this attachment is that I am very impressed with this backhoe. I was able to dig a 6ft deep trench with out any issues and with pivoting the skidsteer I was able to use my machine just like a mini exivator. Im sure visibility is a little better in a mini excavator but having this attachment for the skidsteer should be a helpful addition to our farm.

I just like the idea of using my skid for everything looks like fun
Jenkins makes some fun attachments so that you one skid steer can seem to do just about everything. Good luck and stay safe.
I was wondering what size is this bucket and what is this the 6.5 ft dig depth or 8.5 ft digging depth? Thank you very much!
Thanks for watching, the bucket is 18 3/4” wide on a 7.5, boom so I am able to dig about 8.5 feet down because the bucket and teeth can get about another foot and half. It has been an awesome tow and I plan on using it again this weekend to put in about 400 ft of drain pipes for the new shop. More videos coming soon.
@@MDTripleCreekRanch Awesome I am thinking of purchasing one for my New Holland skid steer so I am excited to see the new videos as they arrive! Thank you!
@@sdrancher742 If I was smart I would have filmed today, sorry about that. I spent the most of the day digging up old water lines trying to track down what fitting had failed me. That excavator attachment was a big life savor today. I promise this next week when I start digging for my water line and sewer line for the new shop I will definitely make that into a video.
@@MDTripleCreekRanch I'm excited to see it in action! I called the guy I usually buy skid steer attachments from and he says he is 4 to 6 weeks outs on getting any in and from jenkins itself its like 4 months so he must had some on order already so I'm excited to see you using it soon!
@@MDTripleCreekRanch Well I ended up purchasing one of these but with a 24 inch bucket cause thats all the guy had. I'm excited to see it when its shipped to me I can't wait to see your videos of it working when they come out!
