Vermeer CTX100 with Bradco Backhoe Attachment!

- You all know we love our vermeer ctx100 here at tennessee technicians! I have been speaking with my friends at Spartan Equipment in depth regarding the bradco backhoe attachment for mini skid steers. I became highly interested in the swing backhoe version. They have mini skid steer backhoe attachments that do not swing, but we definitely wanted one that did!
So I purchased the bradco swing backhoe attachment for our vermeer ctx100. We tested it out outside my house. Watch how fast the 12" dig bucket digs an over 25' long drain line! Wow! I give it a 5 star review!
We actually were using it again yesterday, as some of you may have caught in the live video I did of our current outside french drain installation that is going throughout an entire yard!
This new mini skid steer attachment is awesome! It is not the same as having a full size mini excavator, but for what it is, I am so glad that we decided to add it to our fleet!

Sometimes I wonder now after watching an episode of "Tractor Time With Tim" on the topic of if loaders like yours or Bobcat's minis or small articulated loader would be better than a compact/subcompact tractor or potentially replace it. Especially if you can use it for just about anything.
They can do about anything with the proper attachment.
Maybe increase the diameters of the curling cylinder or maybe a flow restrictor on that circuit.
Vermeer's come either on, or off, as soon as you touch that control. We did switch them, and we liked that way better, but it would be way better if you could control it.
Overall, we have used the new attachment multiple times now. It has proven handy.
It's not replacing a mini-ex, but it definitely serves its purpose.
If you have any ideas I am unaware of, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Well that’s fantastic. So I have a toro tx1000 and looked at Spartan for this attachment but thought to go down a worm hole for videos of it and found yours which I watched, very helpful. Being that we have different machines just curious what you think now a year later of it. The controls on the Vermeer like the dingo look like a multi pain in the ass to pivot etc. Am I wrong? And any other suggested mods you did to get it act right? Thanks in advance!
Haven't ever used it but on that one job. So I am really not the man to ask to be honest. It did good whenever we used it though.

@@TannerFlowers It restricts the amount of flow to the attachment/function. In your case it will make it smoother. Go to any hydraulic hose shop and ask them if the can help you with it. Check your machine because sometimes they have two pumps on them and one will have a higher output then the other. Check the specs on your attachment against your machine. Also if you can turn down the revs on your machine it will send less oil to tour attachment. If you can alter the revs try it at half revs and adjust accordingly. Let me know how you get on? Cheers

its better to put the bucket at 45 degree to the ground and just move arm till got a bucket full. its not like digging with a shovel .

I hate to tell you a lie. I do not know for sure. I have only ever used our Vermeer CTX 100.

The attachment itself was over 3k.
The machine, with 3 attachments, was 43k.

It's no mini ex replacement. Good for smaller type projects though.
