A few days after we waved farewell to my GT Black Series at CARS' UK base, both myself and the car have now arrived in the UAE and it's time to get it unloaded and out on the roads of Dubai. In a reversal of my first CZcams videos, where I used to film supercars from the Middle East in London, my very own supercar is now on the ground in Dubai for a mega adventure.
The entire process to ship it out has been managed by CARS who offer global automotive shipping services, and previously moved my Ford GT from the UK to USA and back a few years ago, and now bringing the Mercedes to Dubai. At the receiving end, they now have the new CARS Cafe supporting the storage business and logistics, where from my side it's like collecting a suitcase you've checked in to send abroad with everything being handled and legally arranged to drive the car out here.
Straight after the car leaves the truck, we bring it into the handover bay while finalising everything before it's time to get straight out onto the roads for a sightseeing and car spotting tour via the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Palm, JBR and more. This is a dream turned into reality thanks to Quantfury!

Are you there by yourself?.. or did you bring someone to help film. With all your camera gear attached to black series.. I guess all you need is a iPhone or decent handheld, but who or what is capturing your face while driving… boring question, I’d still take your car over any others seen tonight out and about, I may change my mind when you have access to that dealership

Amazing. Guy puts car on a plane and tells a company to deliver it to Dubai. Then gets a flight to the same place and he’s surprised when he sees it there. Mind blown.

You should drive to f1 event in jeddah Saudi Arabia and come back for final events in yas marina . The journey will be cool. I did cross country like that many times. It's really fun.

I’m from Dubai and wanted to let you know that all speed signs in Dubai have a 20km/h buffer, so a 60km/h sign is 80km/h, 100km/h is 120km/h. Only in Abu Dhabi is the speed sign the actual speed of the radar (140km/h sign = 141km/h radar)

Tim, thank you for letting me feel that I'm in the passenger seat. Going places that I will most likely not have the opportunity to travel to. In cars that I will not get the chance to own. I grew up in Germany by that wonderful track that you also love. As a child we would visit it at night and spray paint the road. Good times. I'm looking forward to the drive in Dubai with my favorite car. Safe roads to you.
