I can picture that happening with how the writers handle things after dramatic scenes

Sherlock Fun Fact: Andrew Scott auditioned for Moriarty with this pool scene.
Yep. He shocked the casting crew by shouting. That what people DO! And that's what sold it. He became the infamous Moriarty.
Laura Moore another fun fact: they had no intention of introducing Moriarty in s1, but they still wanted an actor to play Moriarty, so right before Andrew auditioned, Moffatt wrote up the most ridiculous monologue for him to audition with. Andrew acted it out so well that they ended up putting it at the end of The Great Game.

The master never gave me the creeps, I just thought he was insane, What Moriarty does and how he acts is dark. Like wanting to mess around with Sherlock and burn a heart out of him.

This is my favorite scene with Moriarty, and possibly my favorite scene from the series as a whole. From the moment John was revealed to have been taken hostage, the way this scene was delivered was just phenomenal. Moriarty coming out with no trace of fear, the look in Sherlock's eyes as he holds the man at gunpoint, the symbolism of Moriarty standing beside the "Deep End" sign.... and Sherlock replying to Moriarty saying that what he has to say is known, that "[his] answer has crossed [Moriarty's mind]". Finally, the look on Sherlock's face as he aims the gun at the explosive jacket, the way it screams, "If we're going down, so are you..."
Brilliantly executed! Absolutely brilliant!

Magnussen's different. he peed in Sherlock's fireplace and flicked John's face :P
magnussen also showed all his cards too early. he became over confident
that I dont think he did. He spent an indefinite amount of time tracking the Holmes boys, figured out that John was Sherlock's pressure point, then waited months again to finally show his hand. I think that last scene where Sherlock shot him was very reminiscent of the Sherlock Moriarty faceoff in series 1. Who knows what would have happened if Irene hadn't called Moriarty at that time?

He revealed it. He didnt cover all bases. In everything, always have a contingency plan. clearly, magnussen didnt have one.
Actually, Magnussen didn't really challenged Sherlock, like he was sure that Sherlock won't pull the trigger, what pissed him off, instead, Moriarty challenged him and thought about the possibility
Moriarty's facial expressions are fascinatingly hypnotising. That voice is so unpredictable. The inflections, the teasing high-pitch tones. Arrghh Moriarty I missed you.

That moment at 1:27... Sherlock's eyes... I don't know they just break me every time, and then that sort if panic in his voice when he says "Are you alright??" I don't know I could cry every time I see this I just love this whatever sort of friendship thing between Sherlock and John because Sherlock cares so much but he can't show it
I like how different Moriarty is here. He's very casual and calm but also with a sort of evil you can see bubbling underneath with a slightly funny side. It's very different and I think that's why it works for this show.

Andrew Scott is amazing as Moriarty, he brings so many layers to the character. He really gives the impression that he is a crazed psychopath.

I just watched this episode tonight a few hours ago (it must have been a re-run?) and like I was screaming at the TV when he started rubbing it on his head like omfg. But holy crap, Moriarty is so cool xD "No you won't!" I love how... maniacally flamboyant he is XD and of course, "I'm glad no one saw that. You ripping my clothes off," I'm crying. So glad I decided to start watching Sherlock.

Docktor Jim I'm guessing that Sherlock didn't shoot Moriarty here because he knew the snipers would probably shoot him and/or John the second he pulled the trigger. It's been a bit since I've seen "His Last Vow", but I don't think Sherlock had that same threat hanging over him.

I was the same I watched loads of clips of it on youtube and it was all over tumblr and this was one of the first clips I saw, then I borrowed the seasons from my auntie and I am hooked, there is no going back. It's 10000000% worth it though
But I have... homework ; A ; I swear I will end up doing /nothing/ AT ALL if I started and then, I'll just end up waiting in a corner crying about series 3 while whining about when series 4 is coming out.
And this isn't even the overly-dramatic version of what will happen :I
2:53 is my favorite. That "Are you ready to die with me to take him down?" look from Sherlock, and John giving a tiny nod without a second of hesitation. It's the sort of moment I could see them having if Sherlock had been with him in Afghanistan. They're fully brothers in arms at this point.

The only thing I can think of when watching this scene is how many people stood off to the side gleefully aiming laser pointers at Martin and Benedict. XD I mean, the movements seem erratic, as if the people wielding them were holding back laughter.
