Anna barely turned 12 years old when she started writing her own songs, a need to give her many feelings a vent. Inspirations were plenty - Dashboard Confessional influenced her just as much as 30 Seconds to Mars. It may be her youth that blurred any style restrictions: Emo, Punk or Gothic have always been equally represented in her music collection - as long as it was true passion that lead the artists.
That is exactly the key element in her songs: they may all just be written by Anna in her room - but there always is that emphasis on true feelings and expressive lyrics.
This candor might be strange for some but it is just this distinction in her thinking, her direct lyrics and her vivid songwriting that make up Anna’s style. A style that speaks directly from the hearts of her many listeners. - Hudba

When singer's and strangers on the internet know more about your pain you don't even know why you have than your own family.
So, years ago, I was in a really horrible situation; everything was just falling apart, I couldn’t even get out my own bed, I was tired of everything and I completely forgot how being truly happy was like.
I discovered this song randomly in this period, and DAMN it helped me so much, I know this could sound weird, but really I just felt understood by someone who doesn’t even know my existence.
I know that there are currently a lot of people in this situation (I luckily got better after a series of changes in my life) and everything that I want to say is that you’re not alone, you may feel alone and misunderstood but that’s not the truth, it’s just a game depression does on your brain.
Don’t feel “weak” if you ask for help, don’t feel like you are a “failure”, we are all here for a reason, and if you think that no one understands how you’re feeling, I do, and a lot of others do, it will get better, I promise,

I'm glad Anna blue exist. The songs are legends in my heart. Parents just don't get it, they always doubt everything when they had no idea or experience to what their child is going through. My best friend is sick and has a weak body but my parents think it's only a psychological problem when they don't even know the person close enough yet they judge them.

Finally... I finally managed to find something that can calm me whenever I'm being too emotional. I don't know what's in these songs of you miss anna but they hit hard and calming me down at the same time. It's like I'm listening to someone who is telling my story with songs. I love your songs.
A lot of the verses really hit home. I *related* to the lyrics years ago when my depression first started taking hold, but I didn't really *appreciate* it until now, after about ten years of struggling. I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry a little after relistening.

This is my favorite Anna Blue song rn. Silent Scream is a close second though! For me, it kind of fits my life... Except it's from my best friend's POV and he's talking to me. I'm constantly on the edge and he is a lot too. However, right now, I barely see him. He's in a partial hospitalization program to try and get more stable. He's promised to use what he learns in the program to help me, but I feel like it won't help...
Sorry about venting online, but I can't talk to him much (only about 30 minutes a day tops) and it's really taking its toll...

a few years ago i was going through the worst period of my life. i felt alone and empty, everything i spent years building fell apart. i remember discovering this song and listening to the lyrics. they described how i felt/feel. i had no hope and had no one to talk to.
so, one day, i went to my friends house and i showed her this song and said: "listen to the lyrics". she didnt care about it at all. this was my "cry for help".
this song and Anna Blue helped me so much. till today i listen to it and have flashbacks of this part of my life. it will be forever one of my favorite songs, even if it brings me memories i wish i could forget.
so, please, dont stay silent. if you feel lost or empty in any way, talk to someone, write a song, express your feelings. I wish i could have done this. you WILL get better, things will be alright.

this song describes me perfectly XD I can picture my service dog in training being the one picking me up beacuse she has picked me up from my PTSD and my mobility problem and cheers me up when people stair beacuse im young and active but if I fall I can't get off the floor beacuse I have MD2 which effects mucels and makes them very weak and I can't build any mucle easily so I constantly have to eat protein and exercise it also effects my lungs and heart so in summer my oxegyn levels drop because of the heat and I freeze beacuse of it and get teezed for wearing a sweater in summer on a 100°f day and then I fall alot to beacuse I get light headed and my legs can't support me do to a painful mucle spasm that can last a half hour. this song is awesome and cheers me up 😊 thank you for singing it and writing it I bet more of the songs will cheer me up. keep enjoying life and be honest to yourself and love or learn to love yourself everyone find a little spark of hope in anything even saying have a good day or evening to someone even a complement to someone 😉 the simple things in life really do help like watching geese fly in the foggy mornings with my pup makes me smile. what makes you all smile?
