My father actually did something like this once. I was 15 years old and working at a bar in a ski resort as "the errand boy" running all kinds of small tasks and doing stuff like cleaning, fetching stuff from the storage etc. We did not have a bouncer, since it was a small bar up north and we did not have many customers since it was not the high tourism season. My shift was nearing its end, so I called for my father to pick me up. When he got in there, a British tourist who had had a few too many gluhweins with extra vodka got mad about something. He tried to impale one of our waiters with skiing poles and started wrecking the place. His wife got him to calm down a bit, and they left the bar.
However, it didn't last long. After couple minutes, the Brit came back angry af. My father walked into the front door, opened the door, told the British drunkard to his face that the place is now closed, and slammed the door shut to his face. Mind you, my father was not working at that place, but was just a normal customer coming to pick me up.
You can't even imagine how much the Brit was fuming after that. He tried to break into the bar through windows and walked around the bar making sure that no one escapes through a backdoor. We still had other customers in at that moment btw. Anyways, when police arrived to the site, the drunkard fled into the wilderness, with police K9 at his heels. good times :D

Fun fact, Melissa was an old computer virus that would show itself as a Word file titled something along the lines of "I love you", or "I'm a secret admirer" or something like that. Once you click the Word file, the virus attaches itself, and it spreads itself through emails it can find on your PC. Its main goal was to just attach itself to as many PCs as possible, and even though it didn't steal money or anything like that, it caused an inconceivable amount of damage, not just to normal people, but even to the US military.
May be a little mixed up with other viruses of the time for some small details, but that was the jist of it. 99 was a long time ago.
How did that cause damage?
@Kitty Kitties The fear that it WOULD cause damage was enough for it to do damage. It caused the shut down of servers and businesses, while the best of the best cybersecurity professionals worked to kill it.

the impression of the computer voice he does actually made me think that the sounds were part of the game for a second.
Theory: Tommy ran up the stairs as soon as his mom told him to go to bed because he's terrified of her. She constantly barges into his room in the middle of the night and shines a flashlight in his face, yells at him from downstairs and then pretends that it wasn't her, and haunts him outside his window.
Tommy finally is sick of it and puts on the mask to kill his mom, becoming Michael Myers.
Proof: Have we ever seen Tommy and Michael in the same room together? I thought not.
