  • Nice, first day of the season at Lime Rock Park. Dry weather in the high 50s/low 60s. The car ran well and I was within a tenth of my PB on old tires without feeling like I was pushing.

Great vid and driving, very consistent! Got my B16 fitted on my F82 and taking it to the track tomorrow. You were a big help in my decision to buy them so thank you!
I've only driven it once so far but was amazed at how nicely it rode on the road, it's currently on 3 of 10 all round. I'm going to start at 10 all round on track (running 265/35/19 square cup 2 and will aim for about 28psi hot), then drop down accordingly. Do you run the same damper settings front and rear when on square tyres?
Really can't wait till tomorrow, the car was on stock adaptive shocks with mperformance HAS kit. The front left spring perch had failed so it effectively had no weight on that wheel. The B16's feel no worse on the road but the car feels much lighter with the small amount of driving I've done so far, no wonder as the old stuff was knackered! Did 2.40 a few weeks ago on the old knackered suspension which is very quick, tyres and brakes are the same so hopefully knock a couple of secs off.

Thanks for the kind comments. Yesterday was a fun day and the car ran very well at a pretty good pace - especially for the first day of the season.
Congrats on the Bilsteins. I hope they work out for you as well as they have for me. I got them in 2017 and now have over 70 track days on them, attacking curbs, and they are still good to go. They are built like tanks and have never seemed to need a rebuild. I don't necessarily run them the same front and rear. I try to dial them in so that the car is just a little loose. So I typically leave the rears at 8 and soften the front until I just dial out any understeer.
