Nice layout for a couple doing the Great Loop. Not sure about parts for a Perkins. Are they hard to get? Its not as common as a Cummins or Yanmar. That concerns me. But i love this layout and could see myself and my wife doing the Great Loop in this boat. Its older. Wish it had Garmin electronics. Doesn't look like it has radar.
Hey Will! No need to be scared about a Perkins. They're great engines, and our friends at Trans-Atlantic Diesel can get you any part you need. Electronics are easy to switch out if Garmin's are your preference, they're certainly intuitive. It does have a Furuno radar on it currently. It's a great option for a cruising couple. Lots of space!
