Unreal Engine needs a Solid and Robust Data Oriented Progamming Framework built into the engine. Yes, there is the apparatus plugin, but I think Epic should buy them out if it is good enough, or focus more on their MASS framework and make it top notch and better than DOTS, BURST ect for Unity. A team of Modders became Indie Developers and are building a fantastic framework using Unity DOTS, BURSAT etc to make an upcoming (2025?) large scale RTS with THOUSANDS of simulated units + THOUSANDS of simulated projectiles. (Sanctuary Shattered Sun), This project is honestly pretty lam in this day in age and dissapointing to see Indie Developers accomplishing more than a team like this with a larger team, and a lot more money and not to mention a more skilled team. With DOP, Unreal could be a great platform for simulation visualization, such Fluid Dynamics, Crowd Simulations, CFD simulations and visualization. Its a MASSIVE increase in performance when dealing with many entities/objects/computations

Of units? 4v4 games in SC2 have up to 1600 units, and that is a 14 year old game

My only issue in it is that I still feel SC2 plays more neatly engine wise
