- JB FiberWeld is a fiberglass 2" wide by 36" roll of wrap that is infused with water activated resin. It cures rock hard in 15 minutes. I repair my badly broken electric mountain bike frame. I did it as a temporary fix, but it may be permanent after seeing how hard and tight the repair is - only the trail will tell!

hello Christoph! It shows no sign of ever failing! I have added 1000 miles of hard riding without a problem. I never finished painting it thinking it might not last. I think i'll have to sand and paint it not!! Ride safe!!
@@filoncmike Wow, that's great! I have an aluminum frame hybrid bicycle that I adore, but it got a crack in the down tube, right under the seat post flange. I'd love to try this out. Otherwise, it's a huge hassle to do a weld repair because then the heat treatment gets ruined, and then you have to get the whole bike re-heat treated. And, all the parts would have to be removed as well. Wow, this seems like a great option! Thanks for the upload!
