Could you please teach us how to insulate the keter storage box? We've put our washing machine in there, and the plummer suggested insulation for wintertime

No not at all. It's dry inside.

I would say no less than 20mm to prevent it bowing in the middle. 18mm could be ok if you only use the shelf for light items.

Hi, I used reclaimed Bed Slats to make mine so I'm not sure where you might buy it but really any wood long enough and about 2.5cm thick should do the job.

Great stuff Phil, cheers. I notice that the length of the shelf is 136.5cm, which I saw was the same in a Spanish video I watched. However, I've just downloaded the manual online and it stated the length as 137.5cm! Keter's own video states the same. Have you a small gap on yours or is it snug? My son is going to buy this next week and I want to get a shelf cut for him beforehand. Cheers.

I followed my manual for that exact measurement. My shelf has a slight gap either side so 137.5 cm should also work anyway. Maybe they tweaked some details in the manual for an update.
