- So for my first CZcams upload of 2024 I thought to talk about the Wisconsin Window Tint Laws. Now the Tint Laws in Wisconsin have been the same for as long as I have been tinting. People seem to have all different ideas on what the actual Tint Laws are in Wisconsin but this is what they are from a Simple Google check and what I have been telling my customers for years. 50% Front doors and 35% rear doors and rear glass on a sedan. SUV, truck and Minivan is still 50% front doors.
There are a lot of options when it comes to tint and also most people don't follow the laws for tint in Wisconsin but I make sure to tell my customers what they are before Tinting their vehicles. Dark isn't Legal and Legal isn't Dark!

I'm here because I bought a car that came from Alabama and the windows look dark.. and now i understand why lol. Alabamas law is 32% front and back.. wisconsin is 35% and 50%. Uh oh 😬
I got pulled over in Wisconsin Rapids for my windows a couple months ago he didn’t say anything about the 50% on the front windshield or the 5% on the back half but he was hot and bothered with the 20% on the drivers and passenger windows. No fix it ticket but he said he put it in the system that I’ve been warned 😂
It's crazy how it goes sometimes. I had my Van in Rapids a while back and I've been there plenty of times with no issues. You just never know. Good luck to you!

Hey man! Nice vid. With a tint waiver, you know how much windshield tint you can get?
I honestly don't know. Also it depends on your state laws which are all different. I know you still can't go crazy dark but you have a little more flexibility.
In Louisiana it’s 40% on front on all vehicles, trucks and SUVs can be as dark as you want on the back doors and back windows. I think cars is 40 on the front and 20 on back. Most cops won’t mess with you in my area unless your windshield is blacked out

Man if they are going to tell you 35 on the back of a car at least make the front 35 also. I think 35 is a great shade for any vehicle. Not to dark but still looks tinted
Exactly, most don’t do 50% and I suggest do 35% on the fronts as well. As I mentioned they don’t have any issues. 👍🏾

I actually got pulled over going to road America for front window tint. He wrote me a warning. I think it was 35% up front. I think he was looking for a reason to pull me over for some reason. Pretty lame

Here people complain about the 50%. Maybe go with a 65% Ceramic and at least you'll be blocking out the heat and reducing some of the glare and UV.
