Jane Reads Lizard Brain Driving Blindfolded Jane's Hot Ride Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo - Zábava
To me, Cho line (Why did you do that?) is pretty underrated because it shows that even throwing a lambo out of a cliff isn't out of Jane realm of possibilities.
the only one who gives more or less correct estimation of jane's intelligence. everyone else underestimates him.
Exactly. its like cho had already assumed that jane did that on purpose
ASHISH62 I rewatched the scene, and Cho knew Jane was up to something even after he said “it’s a total accident”. Cho walked away so Jane and the other guy could be alone
@@Seizhin holy hell i just realized that it's possible he did that on purpose so he can lead the murderer into the murder car. i've always thought that he surely improvised and made the plan to lead the killer on the way to the dealer
@@zumabbar it was on purpose, it was told when were buying the other car and catching the killer.
That was the most dramatic car going of a cliff scene ever. It flew off that cliff like it got a nitro boost just before.
And it was CGI.
Someone had the good sense to now waste a lambo.
@@lrmcatspaw1 they could have used a toy car with a green screen to make a better scene. But well, we didn't watch the series for its action scenes.
I think the car wants to jump off the cliff because Jane was blindfolded and pressuring the car to commit suicide.
@@androidemulation5952
I don't think a toy car and green scene would have made it much better.
As cars go Lamborghini's aren't that heavy.

He's not always rich, he can just easily make as much money as he needs at any given point
@@Karynthian actually he is,he also owns a mansion but he stopped using it after his family was murdered
In reality..he has worth of 550 million dollars😊

Jane Being Jane 😂😂😂
Insurance : let me introduce myself.
Most cars need the key still in to BE in gear or out of "park" or they'll start bing bing binging. Of course, that's ones me and most people I know as we don't have that type luxe car.
@@kurtsnyder4752 Most high end/luxury cars only come in manual aka stick shift although many cars now have paddle shifters on the steering wheel instead of the whole stick shift. If you stop a manual transmission car, whether the key is in the car or not doesn't matter, what matters is if the person who parked it knew that they had to engage the parking brake BEFORE exiting the vehicle. Some people prefer to leave it in first gear while others, like myself, prefer to park my car in neutral. However, even parking the car in neutral gear means that it'll go the way of gravity aka (for me) out my garage and into the street, hopefully stopping at the curb... well because of my cars make/model its low and the curbs by me are high so I don't have to worry about my car getting enough momentum to jump the curb, go through the neighbor's fence and straight into their pool... but I think Patrick Jane would think that my bright orange (all black accents, roof, rims, etc) car is a much better color... f*ck it, he'd probably love my bright red baby boy... Always said my next car would HAVE to be yellow because 1. I wanted bright yellow but it wasn't an option for my orange one or as I like to say "Trick or Treat, Motherf*ckers!" And I don't even celebrate or like Halloween and 2. I have a red boy, an orange man so I need me a yellow baby to close out that color wheel (although I've been favoring blue cars lately because I've seen so many gorgeous blue cars instead of either gross baby blue or so dark you can't tell if it's black or navy colors... but it'll be a while before I go out and drop a shitton of money on another "fun" car... I should probably get a car with a decent sized trunk or even a 4 door so that I don't have to borrow one of my parents cars when I want to buy anything big or want to hit all the stores I need to in one trip for my monthly grocery/walmart/costco/homegoods/anywhere else my spidey sense makes me NEED to go lol Plus I've always wanted a Cane Corso dog and you can't fit a 130+lbs Mastiff in a coupe.... well actually you can I just wouldn't want too... shit I fit 4 people in my back seats when I was their DD on nights out but I wouldn't subject my dog to that nonsense... but yeah I have to buy another vehicle JUST to buy the dog I want... which is gonna make that a very expensive ass dog... not as much as my old lady (almost 16 year old miniature dachshund aka hotdog dog) has cost me, she's a diva and will rip ANYONE/ANY THINGS face to shreds to protect her siblings but ESPECIALLY her momma!
But yeah bougie ass cars are 99% manual transmission cars, meaning you have to pull the parking brake up before getting out of the car or else the car will go wherever gravity takes it. No keys necessary. No beeping. Nada!
If you only have automatic cars then just put your car in neutral, somewhere safe!, and take your foot off the brake and you'll feel the car start moving without any gas... but yeah parking brakes are kind of useless in automatic cars but are super important to manuals. Okay too much car talk or rather writing in circles to make sure everyone understands what I mean because I know a lot of you are from different countries and don't understand English as easily as English speakers/writers do PLUS I know Google translate isn't 100% because it screws up my Croatian to English and English to Croatian all the time! So I tried to say it different ways so everyone that wanted to know or didn't already know/realize why the car went off the cliff like that!
I hope all of you are having a wonderful morning/day/night!!!
actually, based on the story, I think that feeling his reaction was just a part of the trick. There's a good chance that Jane memorized the place before he got in to the car, considering he can memorize things easily
Exactly. He uses the memory palace to memorize the layout of the parking lot, to gauge exactly how fast he can go based on distance.
Or he could see thru the blindfold. A lot of blindfolds aren't blinding it's just fabric u can see
@@Chelsea.Stevie It might actually be harder to drive with a fabric over your eyes that you can only barely see through (especially black) than not being able to see at all.
@@grenzviel4480 I mean I've never driven blindfolded so I dont know. I just feel like the directors wouldn't have had him actually drive blindly so he had to be able to see through whatever was over his eyes whether its fabric or a regular blindfold. I'm not sure I was just saying.
@@Chelsea.Stevie oh you meant that? no no no, there's plenty of camera tricks to go by. What I meant was what Patrick Jane would have done, not what Simon Baker did during filming.
Notice he said “I’ll Get you a new one” not buy lol.
Yes ! U are right. Thanks for pointing that out.
"oh hey a guy driving while blindfolded! Let's go stand right where he's driving"
To be fair, the car falling off the cliff was the fault of whoever the hell owned this property. Who in their right mind puts a row of parking spaces next to a god damned cliff, without so much as a fence between it and a 75+ meter drop?
@Sainte Ofelia Uhh, I'm not sure how this and race even applies.
very safe to leave your children playing around
Or some of those 3' high 2.5' wide at the base concrete barriers like those separating highway lanes.
A rubber door stop would have saved the car. It’s like everybody who designed, built, and inspected this property forget that cliffs are dangerous.
Even these 8" high 6' long and 8" thick concrete parking space dividers lined up along the edge would have done the job. Some stores here in Minnesnowta don't like 'em prescisely because in the winter, they're obstacles to plowing the snow out of the lot.
The guy turned to be one of Jane's few best buddies. He even lent Jane a 1930s Cadillac seasons later. Tbh, this character is quite realistic. Some people in the real world *do* willing to spend(or "dump") millions just to get a thrilling experience, since they've bought all their bucket list items and got bored already
Now he plays the Rich best friend on the Rookie.
And he also boned Lisbon lol
Realistically I don't think he was planning on spending millions, it looked like an honest accident, even if he wrecked the car, it would have been 20 30 thousand!
@@G0DofRocknope
The guy that created "The Mentalist" actually has a mentalist show in Vegas. My wife and I saw him. He was fantastic, and I laughed so hard I dislocated a rib. So worth it.
I saw the same show, my brother was selected to be one of the people that he interacted with.
He has Aspergers though so he didn't even show reactions when the trick was revealed, the mentalist guy just made a joke and escorted him off stage. It was very funny to my brother after when we explained what happened
+R Allen +Currently what's his name? I want to look him up :)
nvm, I think I found him! Gerry McCambridge :)
+R Allen I think you're wrong, Gerry McCambridge doesn't have anything to do with this TV show.
Bruno Heller created The Mentalist and he does NOT have such show in Vegas.
Jane purposely didn't put the handbrake on. Because he was called a quack.
Jane did that on purpose. He can never do such a silly mistake. Cho was right.
It is revealed later that he did it so he could go to the car dealership
I love Walter Mashburn ! I was so glad he got to spend a night with Lisbon !!! Anyone re watching with me in 2023 ?
well to be fair the guy i presume was the owner of the car who rode with him can't be pissed, he stated he didn't know how to start the car which means he wouldn't know how to put it into park soooo the owner guy should have checked i mean who wouldn't with a car like that which is probably rather expensive.
I don't like the colour green please change it
lmao
The guy has a castle in scottland. (According to him) The first time I watched this I was actually surprised he got mad
JUrb1000 oooo aren’t you edgy
well he was kind of blindfolded. That makes some things a little more difficult.
for someone who sleeps on a lounge the whole time his suit is always pressed and clean
"I'll get you a new one" doesn't mean that much between millionaires, lol! :D
It's like he dropped one of his glasses when having a drink.
such a memorable episode
@Madeleine Lipscomb season 2 ep 13. Its in prime video
whole episode was great
damn, I just realised that Currie Graham looks like Kevin Spacey A LOT
looks like Zoni Weisz.
Mashburns face was so awsome, when they stayed at the cliff!!!
later he will not even care about it since he finds out it was a neccesary part to catch a killer
Turns out, it was not a total accident.
Also--Walter Mashburn was an awesome character. I kind of wish he was included to a greater extend later in the show, but keeping him out did make it more realistic.
He was great! The actor has popped up in so many shows I’ve watched over the years.

Jesse Martinez well, he can. He’s SUPER rich.
i LOVE Cho's reaction ! "Why'd you do that?"
Patrick Jane has skills ! :D
is it just me or Jane and Walter are very alike i mean they have a very childish playing around personality wanna see more of those *funny/epic* moment btw them in season 4 WHO'S WITH ME!? lol
Purposly left it in neutral hahaha what a legend

master piece jane mashburn magic.
I had a similar experience like this. My dad truck didn't fall off a cliff, but it drove under a neighbor trailer house when i back up and hit my dads co-works truck and pulled up and got out and forgot to put it in park.
I could imagine hes heart was dropping of depression just like hes expensive car dropping of a cliff and crashing into those pointy rocks😂 oh man
"Fuck it, it was a rental."
priceless jane walter mashburn magic.
Patrick Jane hurt the car's feeling... committed suicide.
jane tell it straight every time clever priceless.
Карри Грэхэм это один из лучших актёров второстепенных ролей, в кино и в сериалах 😎
@Calucifer13 Besides, I talked to Jordan Harper, the writer of this series; no, he did not want to tell me if Mashburn is going to appear again, BUT he talks about him a lot. I dare say that he will write him a new part again.
Something similar almost happened to me once in Big Sur.
Not a Lamborghini, though.
lemme guess, a McLaren?
"ah ohohoh!!!"
I thought he did it on purpose up until he offered to get him a new one.
If I remember correctly he actually did that on purpose because he catched the killer as they were buying his new car.
@@kristupas4426 Jane never planed ahead that far, he always based his next move after considering the effect last one had
"I will get you a new one... "....
There's a scene in an earlier episode where Jane and Van Pelt are running from a bad guy and Jane has to drive because Van Pelt is cuffed and this is bad because Jane was recently blinded. And well, it goes horribly. They don't even make it out of the parking lot. I guess Jane learned this after just in case he was ever blinded again and needed to make another quick getaway (typical stuff that happens all the time) but my question is how many cars did he destroy while learning how to do this and who was his likely very unwilling partner
Jane probably crasher many of the cars he had in his collection lol. For some reason I imagine Cho would be willing to go along with it lmao. And if Jane mastered it, it would make his comment here asking why Jane did that all the more funnier.
Also danm I didn't expect to see you here Sheev. Nice to know you've watched this show as well!
3:09 I'm sure that was "all in the wrists" too
Sweet 🙂
Jane was crazy rich because he was a con man and his wife was a doctor. When she died he inherited her life savings as well as everything they had together for himself. Money was never something that faxed him because he was rich. He had a huge house and guest house but never lived on the property again after what happened. He wanted to hurry himself in work and his team and the red john investigation which is why he lives at the CBI headquarters I believe or a studio. Regardless he makes paychecks for the federal government so he’s not really losing what he has on a savings from the years before his family’s death.
haha oh Jane :D
He was right though, that was a terrible color........
'I'll get you a new one' hahahahaha
Well Cho was correct. He did it purposefully
I was just thinking that!

I would love A NEW CARRRRR!
This looks like a homemade movie
Congrats!!! you found a loop hole in the show.
I love the fact how viewers peel each and every bit of the scenes in this show.
Sometimes I feel the writers take too much leverage of Jane's character. But in the end, he's Jane after all.
Huh, ud think hed be able to do this when he was actually blind when he was driving with grace.
Elizabeth´s gonna flip out!

Cho be like, dude stop showing off.
If you notice, when people are screaming when the car starts moving towards the cliff, Cho doesnt even flinch, at this point, its not new to him 😂
there really should be more safety precautions at the place so things like this could not happen
That’s Ed’s rental Gallardo!!
didn't she have it cuffed? or something? would have been interesting if they had though she would have to remain calm or they'd crash
People would think that thing has an emergency automatic break... but no
because Van pelt had her hands handcuffed so he could NOT do this

Yes Kamila, seen the Sherlock and now watching Castle. I like a UK series - The Last Detective. Have uou seen it?
Just one or two episodes, and yeah it seemed to be good. But the mentalist is still my fav.

I haven't heard of broadchurch Kamila but read about it and will watch it. The Monk series was good too. But like the Mentalist, I've seen them all more than once. Hey! Thanks!
Puts up a show to drive a car blindfolded and yet needs Cho to tell if Lisbon is around.
How so? Jane only needs to put a hand on her shoulders.
But anyways, poor Walter. His shiny new toy is gone.
Well that's pretty dangerous. Sheer cliff right next to a parking lot. All it takes is for someone to hit the gas instead of reverse and their done. Not even a freaking guard rail...
how are you gonna drive someones lambo off a cliff and roast him after?? janes crazy

Jane didn't have to buy a new car for the rich guy. It was HIS fault to not use the handbrake, as Jane could not see that.
To him, it was more like someone destroyed what is a not crappy fountain pen is to a regular person.

Just that he was getting a new one. Nothing more specified, so no need to go bananas to see if he has or doesnt have money.
HES GONNA LIKE GET IT FOR POINTING HIS FINGER WAY TOO MUCH ITS JUST SIMPLY CROSSING ALL THE NORMAL BOUNDARIES
Yep! She was handcuffed that time and Jane had gone blind. But in that episode he made a wreck of the other cars in the parking lot while here he drives so smoothly. I think the writers did a bit of a mistake in writing this.
This car was his FATAL mistake

When he was in prison he had no money but he made it inside the joint and bailed himself out lol.
but van pelt could not drive because she was handcuffed!! Patrick had to
