The guy who plays Cho is one of the best at delivering a comedic line with a straight face.
you can see him on another show called Magnum P.I. (2018-2022)
Magnum P.I
Cho is my favorite character other than Jane.
@@bamafan18 same brother
@@ibatutvdoes he have the same kind of personality there?
Cho's rare smiles made every episode they were in.
YES i love his smiles so much, especially his little dimple 😌
oh yess Cho is my fav character
@@diamondpanther6275 a
My family has watched this show through multiple times. Whenever Cho breaks the icy stare, we would all look at each other and say with a grin "Cho smiles"
Just the fact that Jane could walk into anyone's house/apartment and find a cup, find tea, brew it and drink, was just blown up! Even in a murderer's place. I was so amazed. But my favorite part was when Lisbon fixed his one and only cup after it had been accidentally broken. My heart. 🥰
Worked like a charm for him. Except once he drank a poison tea and went into hallucination
@@Nemo-gc8vj Was it really poison if he was up in the sky?
@@Nemo-gc8vj I like to pretend I'm high on belladonna when I drink chamomile cus of this show :3
Find? Anyone of us could find a cup in a kitchen 😂. Oh you me the “audacity” he has to just make himself at home.
@@Nemo-gc8vj Yeah. But that got us a Dove Cameron guest spot, so all good.
"What'd people call you?" "Cho." In tears here 🤣🤣🤣
Jane and Lisbon's idle chit-chat is so great lmao. "Tiny dinosaurs you know." "I know."
There's something about his delivery that reminds me of Nathan Fillion, casual quick and self-amused comments
@@Xanderj89 Castle is a pretty fun show. Jane and Jisbon > Beckett and Castle.
@@Timmycoo yeah I watched it for Nathan, but Jane/Lisbon is definitely the better duo
"For money I'd snitch on my mom"
*moves closer*
"What'd she do?"
peak sexual tension in this series
The humour in this show is fabulous. Cho’s deadpanning is hilarious.
"Its not your shade" I love Cho
Rigsby being high is so adorable lol. First the finger gun, then “Can I sit down boss?” “You’re already sitting down 🙄”
Jane loves inciting chaos and then gleefully running away 😂
1:38 Jane's so devious sometimes. Hilarious when he works himself up.
I always loved how whenever he got slapped or punched, in most cases he kinda deserved it. I saw a movie once where one of the main characters said some really horrible things to a bully that was already going to beat him up. When asked why he made things worse the kid said, 'If I'm gunna get a beating I like to deserve it.' Can't remember what thats from but it stuck with me.
@@stephanginther9051I definitely get that. In this case he's worse, setting up Rigsby for a confrontation
I loved the fact that he jumped away from the phone at the end
Trying to contain Jane is like trying to grab water
Now I'm imagining Jane being frozen like an ice cube 😂
I literally squirted my drink out of my nose, AND almost choked on it when Jane said "Semper Fi, sissy britches!". This show is just the best.
Hey always great to see ppl making edits of great shows like Mentalist, shows that shouldn't be forgotten
Great moments!!!funny nas graceful!!i Love this guy!so charming...❤❤❤❤❤
My go-to show whenever I'm sad! ❤️
@@Im-kj same,I just finished rewatching it,but I have quite few when I am sad and I always rewatching the same shows like Mentalist and Bones are must for me and I watched them 100 times and now I am watching Fringe and sometimes I am in the mood for something like Veronica Mars, Chuck, Hart of Dixe,Shadowhunters those are mine go too shows when I'm feeling down
@@Alona2811 Oh, wow! I watched all of them more than I count! Fringe was a really good one! Chuck is above all! This is the first time someone mentioned shows I love!
@@Alona2811 Try Lucifer too
The "gimme some sugar" line when Jane hugs Cho😂 priceless
Underrated comedy for sure. I wish they had done more with Rigsby's accent, that was hilarious
*This is The Most Underrated series in history.*
The way Jane would solve a case in just 1 episode was complex & brilliant enough to be an entire 2hr long movie.
*Especially seasons 1-3*
🧠
I love this show and I love that Psych mentions it with a little bit of childlike banter.
i love both series haha
cho's little smile when jane hugs him 🥺
04:00 he always has to open the doors to Lisbon, I love it 🥰
I like how most of the comedic moments are with cho and jane
00:30 It's a great moment, Jane realizing Cho has untapped skill and potential at doing what Jane can do, and he makes it seem effortless. Cho surprised Jane, and Jane is enjoying it.
One of the few times I saw Kimball smile, when Jane said 'gimme some sugar'.
My comfort show 😫😍
SAME!!!
Mine too. It's like a warm hug.
sameeee
Same here
Mine too, along with Monk and The Office
The actor who plays Cho, would be awesome in a dead pan comedy roll like “The Naked Gun”.
Yeah he’d BA brilliant! Love Cho.
The best times are when Jane screws with Cho.....he's pretty much a Vulcan emotionally but Jane can throw him off balance .
it was such a god damned good show, nothing in the last few years has even come close.
Suits
@@josepha133pathetic in comparison
I love how Jane is always poking people trying to get them angry, and as soon as it becomes physical he starts running 🤣
The comedic timing in this show, albeit minimal, was chefs kiss. Specially with Jane ft. Cho 🤣
“and here comes the real boyfriend” @7:38
God I get such a nostalgia trip watching these mentalist clips. Thanks for uploading !
I love the way Jane says curse words
I love the way Jane sets up Rigsbys visit with Roddy Gerber so that Gerber ends up in prison. Never mind that Rigsby gets a bloody nose....😂
Jealous losbon is sooo precious 😂😂
I'm picturing an alternate universe where Simon Baker was cast as Tony Stark.
AN ALTERNATE. UNIVERSE. RELAAAAX!
Jane mocking Spackmans pointy finger and then completely ignoring him 😂😂
MY DAILY DOSE OF MENTALIST IS HERE!
It’s just the best tbh I watched it when I was a child loved it and I keep watching it to this day it’s so great and nostalgic to me ! Underrated!!
The yellow Jane arrow was a great stunt. I'll have to use it the next time the FBI is looking for me. 😋😊🤣

The best show ever.... Simon Baker is amazing 😍😎
OH MUH GAWRSH, Cho smiled (or smirked, close enough) he’s usually more stoic than a Vulcan.
Chow always cracks me up.
What did people call you ?
Cho 😐
Ain't no business like Cho business
😂
I binge watch the entire series every 2 years. Still good. Do the same with NYPD Blue. Can't get good TV like that anymore.
Maravillosa serie !!!! Jane siempre metido en problemas !!!🤩🤩😍😍🤣🤣
Janes reaction to Spackman being officious😅
Actually, almost in all episodes,The Mentalist had a streak of humor
5:54 - 6:09 😄😄 I love this scene
Lisbon doing that magic thing with the diamond seller
Jane and Cho comedy
Amazing edit 😍
Thanks for posting.
Just finished the show, loved it
Love this!
Melhor série ontem hoje e sempre!
Vai ser difícil outra melho 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
that "what are you thinking is the best" deserves more
I loved this show in its early years. Season 6 and 7 kinda were downhill for me, even though Jane and Lisbon got together, and I had always shipped them, they did it kinda of more abruptly then I liked. Like it seemed like they were JUST getting them together to keep viewers. Also the Red John storyline ending the way that it did? The show just deserved a better last couple seasons, in my opinion.
I like the post Red John era, but I get your point. I think they dragged that plot for too long, which kept them from exploring other storylines. The ending of season 3 is way more satisfying than the actual resolution we got for Red John in season 6.
@@nayvids I get what you’re saying but I actually think they wrapped it (RJ) up really well. S3 and S4 ending the way they did was RJ showing Jane that he has the advantage and is toying with him.
With the end of S5, with the info that Martins gave Jane, RJ knows he has to do something and so “reopens” the game.
So, Jane knows he has to be careful and cover his bases for S6. The fact he takes Lisbon’s gun before meeting with RJ in s6e8 is one of the most satisfying moments in the series for me. He knows he’s going to be searched so takes a gun so the bird isn’t found - such a good piece of misdirection!
Post RJ was a lot of fun in general and felt a lot like the early seasons, but more lighthearted.
the red john stuff was the weakest for me personally. i just enjoy jane and the gang going around solving random murders and getting into trouble yk. and i liked the post red john stuff with the fbi, it was nice to see jane interacting with new cast members.
@@branchie8979 Yeah that's fair. I would probably agree with you that the weakest point of the show was the RJ stuff, but I still really enjoyed it (especially the specific moment I outlined). The general case-solving was so strong it's hard to top that on average though.
I highly doubt they did it to keep viewers.
It seems that this was always planned from the beginning. That the story more or less was complete befor S1 even aired.
Afterall the Mentalist was in essence always about Jane (not RJ) so it was always going to end with Jane leaving his Past behind for a new Future, and him and Lisbon had their moments from S1 all the way up to S6.
S7 ending with them being together wasnt as such a way to keep viewers but to end his story. A very fitting end. If they would have continued past marriage, it would have been for money and viewers.
I think they 'could' have dragged out the fight with RJ more, the finale of S6 being the death of RJ while S7 entirely focuses on Jane's comeback, fight for Lisbon and end with their marriage (being like the other a 23 Episode Season) but idk what would be sensible to add in the RJ final leadup to the fight.
The ending of S5 left only 7 RJ suspects so their wasnt really an option to prolong it without it being unecessary. Jane from the beginning was always RJ focused, so it would have been out of character to prolong it.
I think the ending was well made.
Oh my GOODNESS again.
Dying LAUGHING!
GOD BLESS US EVERYONE EVERYWHERE 🤣🤣🤣❤❤🌎🌎🌎
this show was so damn funny
The Mentalist is like the love child of Lucifer and Psych. I love all three. Annoying, yet gifted consultants for the win.
My fav show .
Great movie,interestingcharacters, beautiful actors!❤
I watched every episode with a grin on my face…or maybe it was rictus…nope, I definitely laughed out loud a lot…
Funniest is Cho saying something like: Impressive, best I can get for a phone call is a pizza.
I never saw cho humour others like this XD
There are few actual true statements in the world but "There's no business like Cho business" is definitely up there.
Jane is the best 😂
This show is the best
1 hour is even not enough for all comedy.
emotionally resilient
God how good was this show.
Well, looks like The Mentalist is going through the algorithm right now - I'm not complaining.
i miss this show so much...

There is _only_ *Red John.*
Que TNT vuelva a hacer un San Patrick de larga duración POR FAVOR!!!
No business like Cho business
A lot of these don't make an impact without the context. I've watched the series, it's just... this is like getting part of the punchline without hearing the joke a lot of the time.
What a great show. (Edited for typos)
No business like CHO Business.
Diamonds are the hardest mineral on earth, that means you can't _scratch_ them with anything softer. but shatter? I'm not sure about that.
During mining booms when people rushed to a place to dig up diamonds, conmen would set themselves up as testers making sure diamonds were real- they'd hit the diamonds with mallets, smashing them, and then say "obviously this wasn't a diamond" and buy the shards for far less than they were worth.
