Nice to see a great lad sat there. Michael wasn’t only a great footballer he’s a great parent and father.
No one would wish it upon anyone. But I’m pleased that out of the odds it fell upon someone with such a great father who has brought him up to only see the positives in life. Well done Michael🫡🫡
A look in Michaels eyes listening to his son is a look any father recognises. It’s emotion, fear, and it’s speaks to the journey. Fine young man.
What a lovely young man
What a lovely lad . Good luck James
We sometimes forget these footballers are human, and have the same struggles we all do, rich or poor. Good luck James, you're an outstanding kid.
Fantastic lad.
Bright articulate.
Amazing ❤
Shocker and bummer life is - Feel for Michael Owen to watch his son fight through life - My wife had Multiple sclerosis diagnosed last year and life has not been the same for us , we strive to make it better than it ever was...Its part of life , as he so rightly puts it !!
That's sad, best of luck to James. A hard thing to deal with at such a young age.
I suffer from the disease myself. It’s amazing hearing them discuss the same problems I face. Good luck to them
Fair play, a credit to his father. Wishing you the best James.
As someone born
with a genetic disease
myself I can relate to a lot of this.
Personally, I have
Homocystinuria or H.C.U for short, it is a metabolic disease.
When I was 32, I am now
42 coming up for 43 in July when I was 32 I had a massive stroke & the stroke resulted in me
losing my parifirel vision in both eyes.
So basically in terms of
James I personally have the reverse problem
James problem is his central vision whare my problem is my parifirel vision it was
Homocystinuria that resulted in the Stoke.
A German doctor told me
about a young girl how was 3 at the time how had went undiagnosed
& had a stroke at 3 years of age but apparently could not remember any different post stoke so like
James & myself she learnt to adapt.
Disability of any kind may shape your life but you dont need to let it destroy your life you just need to find your own coping strategies.
James is right when he talks about how people think of blind or partiality sighted people playing football.
I have a can do attitude myself no point feeling sorry for yourself.
I still enjoy sports myself
It's just more of a challenge actually attending games the biggest challenge I have is food wise at sporting events the last time I went to a sporting event was
Basketball & there was absolutely nothing I could eat at all.
When I contacted
Cladonan Gladiators
there attitude to wards me
was absolutely terrible.
All power to James Owen.
From Alan Shields.
almost every disease has a genetic component
Was your dad a millionaire tho?
Sir Simon = Top LAD Proper Clobber 💯 Facts
Didn’t see this interview coming today
Neither did James.

Shouldn't laugh, but I did 😂

The real question here is… can you throw an apple in a bin?
Only when Dads looking...
Good lad. I thought that was Harry Winks lol
What lovely young Man U can see his dad is proud
He’s the double of his dad when he was that age
Love this ❤
As sad as it is that’s life lots of people can’t do things they want for reasons like this however most of them aren’t the son of a millionaire I’m sure he will be fine
Bit harsh.
@@msv7856 I get where your coming from I’m just a bit sick of people who are doing ok in the grand scheme of things being like oh poor me the world is a shitty rough place and I’m very sorry for the lad but he will be fine he just dosnt get to be a footballer
@@andywoodland2753 Bro if he eventually goes blind that's absolutely brutal. No matter how much money he has.
@@msv7856 true but that’s an if and to be fair he will have the best private medical care to try and prevent that I say again I feel for him with his ailment but I really dont care he ain’t gunna be a footballer
There is no medical prevention possible to prevent the loss of your sight from this disease unfortunately. He will already be very partially sighted right now before eventually being registered blind, I'm sure every penny his Dad or himself have they would trade it all for a pair of healthy eyes.
Did the guy who was 'part qualified' accountant look after Everton's football finances 🤔
Why is Jim's mic and sound always so bad?!
I can barely hear him.....I'm not complaining. Please keep it that way
Eye for one will be watching it, see what you did there Jim ;) 1:21
documentary aka lets make a few bob dad
Science is moving fast. There’s early trials for his condition with stem cell treatment. Hopefully it progresses.
"Just crack on"
What a brave young man. Being born the son of a multi millionaire footballer and with only 98% vision. I can only imagine the obstacles he's had to overcome. I wish him well in his business ventures and don't let anybody tell you that you had an easy start in that with your massive starter cheque off your dad either, young man.
Why doesn’t Michael donate one of his eyes
I've never met a decent Philip.
😂😂😂😂😂👍🏼
@@msv7856you never met anyone in your box room
Football isn't for everyone
I hope Michael has the integrity, not to be jumping on the “victim hood” bandwagon!
Christ just when you thought Michael Owen couldn’t get anymore boring he brings his son into the equation.
Anyone else reading the above comment should just ignore it.
They do it for the reaction.
Don't give it.
😂😂😂😂
@@grahamsmith1978 stop crying
@@grahamsmith1978Like you did, you mean? 😂
Two helmets
too true. daddy's boy was just crud at footy
sounds like an excuse for daddy's boy not making it
What a sad little life Jane.
Being a boring person runs in the family
Jesus. Some people can’t show personality on public interviews, that’s normal. This kid isn’t in that world.
Dressed like his dad, what a melt
What is wrong with you?
Yeah, I see that now. Bit odd, no?
@@simonmenzies3142 Extreme jealousy.
2 wimps
Owen cashing in on another child
who cares
A lot of people. We aren't all as self centred as you thank God.
