Knowing what we know now, you have to feel bad for the people who got possessed, Ruby, Cyrus, Tommy, Ryan, etc., because they’re all victims, too.
An even sadder thing is realizing that the Goodes purposefully chose kind people whom other shady siders would trust & not run away from which made it easier to kill them.
Naming an evil sheriff “Goode” is such an R.L. Stine thing to do lmao
Everyone saying they hated this one - it was my favourite! It did so well at contextualising everything else
"I see a darkness in you girl" "I see a darkness in your teeth dude!"
now THAT ONE got me 😭
The music during Sarah Fier's confession/curse will never fail to give me chills 😩
Watching this after watching a lot of Fear Street reactions across the past year or two, I just realized how fucked up the Goode's are because they wrote down the name of a KID to be the killer/sacrifice. He looked like he was barely in middle school.
He said it so angrily too. What could that little kid have possibly done to him lol
Yeah! I always thought that was extra messed up.
“Hopefully Nick Goode comes to help.”
Me: 😬😬😬
I still like the little detail with the sports teams. Sunnyvale being the "Sunnyvale Devils" and Shadyside being the "Shadyside Witches." At first seeming like a dig at Shadyside because it was "cursed by a witch" but instead it's who's side they're on because the witch wasn't actually an evil witch. As an aside, I feel so bad for the possessed, imagine being trapped in your body while you're being forced to kill people you've known.
Gotta give much respect to Leigh Janiak and the cast for them being able to put this out and make all 3 so we got them Every friday for 3 weeks. That was cool, although, I know it was hard work. I also hope that they do The Cheerleader Saga next; that was a great Fear Street series back then.
it was like christmas every friday lol i was so excited the entire week before the next one came out
@officialtoiletpaper same here. It really was a crazy feat and amazing marketing. I would have been satisfied with one a year. Or pleased with 1 a month, but that back to back, was fantastic. It was a really fun ride, imo, and enjoyed all 3.
@@kaidt5861If I remember right, the original plan was to release them all one month apart in theaters, but the distribution deal fell apart and Netflix picked it up instead. I loved the once a week model they went with instead, wish they'd do it again
I felt so empty after the last one, I kept on rewatching them for weeks
I'm begging for the cheerleader trilogy so bad
In the second movie Nick Goode seemed so noble when he told Ziggy that he’d let too many people die that night at camp. I thought he felt responsible because he was a good camp counsellor and took his responsibility to protect them seriously, but nope, he set Tommy on the shady side kids. And I really liked young Nick Goode.
This series is so good on a second rewatch.
1666 is my favorite of the three. I think it's because this one shocked me the most. I really thought there was an actual witch that cursed the town, so when it turned out that Sarah Fier was actually innocent all along and it was really the Goode's, I was shook. I loved that twist. I also had the same expression as you guys did when the "Fear Street 1994: Part 2" flashed up on the screen. I mean, I guess I should have expected it because they still needed to wrap up the first story, but I figured they would just do a little wrap up at the end. I wasn't expecting for half the movie to be back in 1994 or it being a part 2 to the first. I thought that was brilliant though, and I liked how they brought it full circle.
There were some clues in the 1978 movie,if you watch it again you wil notice some clues in nick's dialogues about his family legacy, abot the burden he has to carry, and even a police officer saying that he wil probably be his boss soon, because of his father's death
I just love how shitty the Goode devil deal is in current time. Back in 1666 being the most influential family in that one little shitty town was actually a good deal, but by now it must have felt more like a curse, being forced to stay in Sunnyvale just because of a deal your ancestor did!
I wonder what the consequences would have been if they just...hadn't kept up the deal? Less people would have died, but would the Goodes have died, or just lost their influence? They didn't have to keep doing what they did. :( It just sucked overall.
@CorinaStadler I'm guessing the deal would have been broken like it was at the end. No more privileged life for Sunnyvale, Goodes fallen from grace and in big trouble. Would have been awfully satisfying if it ended like in Ready Or Not.
The Goodes get whatever they want in exchange for giving up a name to the devil. That's probably why Nick Goode is able to save Ziggy in the 80s. He said he "let a lot of people die", but wasn't going to let her die.
The reaction I have been waiting for. This is my favorite part of the Fear Street Trilogy.
41:00 lol.. well, tech nerd here, yes, they had ssd's back in 1994, actually the first was around 1978 or 79, back then they cost thousands of dollars for just a few mb's, of course, now they have 1000 times the capacity and cheaper.
I feel like doing a scene with the grifter was extra scary because the actor is actually like 6’10 😭
He’s the most terrifying 😭 especially the scene of him throwing the guy to the floor? He reminds me of Jason
The fight between the killers was probably my favourite, I wasn’t expecting that at all 😂 couldn’t help but cheer when it actually worked
“Ca caw to you sir” took me out 🤣
Something that lives rent free for me is the guy playing Goode is sexier with the beard.
No beard no interest.
With the beard, very hot.
Also giving props to the writer for making a toxic gay relationship.
Cause the two girls are just terrible together as a couple.
It's just nice to show a gay couple be just as bad as straight couples.
Great characters, terrible lovers 😂
Didn't realise until after watching all 3 it was an R.L. Stine book.
All the goosebumps with murder 😂😂
A 4th movie was announced! And it's gonna be about that one girl who sang that song in the first one 🙏🏾🙏🏾
new movie will not be based around ruby lane if thats what you mean. its gonna be based off a different series of killings in shadyside. new cast new evrything besides the storyline.
Not only gamers enjoyed the "up up down down b a start" 😂 i was so into falling in reverse growing up that I've had "up up down down b a select start" stuck in my head for years😂
Yeah they had SSD's in 1994 but they weren't common at all and the average person would have little to no use for them, since they only held 20MB and cost $1000
The hand scene gets me every time, it’s so gross. That and the bread slicer from part 1, I have to close my eyes on rewatches.
It cracks me up that Goode saw how terrible Sam looked the morning after and was like “perfect! A new killer!”
He probably did it to tie up a loose end, because they'd already told him all the killers were after Sam, and he'd have known that meant she saw Sarah's visions.
IT'S HERE!!!! LET'S GOOO!
Okay first of all, I've seen at least 15 of these reactions to the movie and it's still amazing--but how has no one I've seen made a 1669 joke before?? I approve.
This is my second favorite horror franchise next to Scream. It's campy, inclusive, funny, doesn't hold back on the gore, good plot and script, great acting, and has the nostalgia factor. There's very little problems I have with it.
FINALLY! yall have no idea how many times i refreshed this page waiting for this 😭😭
Cody, you called it in the VERY beginning of Part One, AND you caught the gate thing. Very impressive, but I love Bridget's reactions because she's so quiet so when she reacts its gold lol
when i first watched this and saw sadie with her eyes gone my first thought was “well that’s not the first time she’s had her eyes sucked out of her skull” 😭😭 i feel bad
Here's my ranking of the fear street trilogy.
3. Fear Street part 2: 1978 july 9th 2021
2. Fear Street part 1: 1994 july 2nd 2021
1. Fear Street part 3: 1666 july 16th 2021
I noticed 2 things in this movie 1 There are people on the directing team whose last names are the same as some of the characters 1st assistant director Doug Tores, 2nd assistant director Meghan Schmidt, 2nd 2nd assistant director Katye Kalivoda and if you don't believe me watch the credits in 1666. 2 Deena's chest protector thingy was made completely out of tape and the original R.L. Stine Fear Street books.
Bridget singing her name gets me every time 😂 Cute cut!
My fav part was the genius plan to get the monsters to attack each other.
That Hocus Pocus reference. I saw it!
I admit I wasn’t paying full attention, but then I heard Bridget say “or breadslicer” and I automatically said “damn straight!”
An early version of a ssd was created in 1978. It’s changed a couple of times since then.
I'm so excited for the next movie, this trilogy is just amazing. I'm glad they’re making a prequel (I think)
Can't wait for the 4th one!
I'd say 78 is still my favorite
another fear street trilogy has already been confirmed to be in the works !!!
guys please do Alice In The Borderline
that's hell of a crazy show ❤❤❤
YES
if you do the chill review, you've gotta mention the divide between Shadyside and Sunnyvale - and how Sunnyvale was fully benefiting from the Goodes actions.. until it wasn't, we see there at the end ;)
What is the schedule for the Game of Thrones reactions? I remember you saying you want to complete it by the end of the year. You would need to do 3 to 4 a week in December to complete that.
Imagine making a deal with the devil and you can ask for anything....and you're like...make me a cop. What a waste 😂
RIGHT LMAO 🤣
Well his brother was the mayor, sheriff of a small town is probably the second best position of power.
loved watching these films every week those were the best Fridays lol.
one of my favorite trilogies! a reaction suggestion: choose or die PLEASEEEEEE❤😊
The Pixies- Mr Greaves to close it out was so perfect.
Hey guys, still loving your reactions.😊 I really liked this movie trilogy. My favorite of the 3 is 1978. A good old slasher like FRIDAY THE 13TH. I watched every movie as they were released on Netflix.O, the whole Nick Goode is actually bad, I figured it out in the very 1st movie. When the TV news reporter was interviewing Sheriff Goode after the mall massacre, I thought "Goode is bad/evil. That's the way it usually happens." So, every time the name Goode was mentioned in the movies, I would say "Not good, bad!", & then to see the curse started w/Solomon Goode in this last movie. I was like "I knew it! Goode was bad."😄 I really enjoyed your reactions to the Fear Street movies. Kinda wondering, what u will be covering next? Ok, bye for now.😊
Please watch In The Mouth of Madness and What We Do In The Shadows (movie)
ive never heard of a ssd and iam a 90's baby i had to wikipedia it lol.
The way all the "witnesses" start saying the same story just to follow the others is how the historical witch trials got started in the first place 🙄
I seen the trailer for this in 2021 2022 but never watched this one but now I will I only watched the first and second one
Been waiting for this reaction!!🖤🖤 excited to see what you guys think of the ending
Will u make another saw reaction?? Btw I love your chanel and just watching your reactions just made me genuinely happy🩷🙏
Bridget I love your shirt!!!
Cool❤
he took her hand in marriage literally-
Watch the chronicles of narnia trilogy
Half 6 is half past 6 hahahaha
I dunno why Americans don’t know that, it’s the same with 24 hour clock. Do you not get taught the time when younger?? Hahahahaha jokes
Nah it’s a generational shift that’s happened recently in the US. Older generations still say half 6, quarter to 6 etc where younger gens prefer to just say 6:30 or 5:45 🤷♀️
In my language (Danish) half six means 5.30. I feel like that makes much more sense because it's halfway to 6 but I still know that in English it's 6.30
@@kayleemckinney2131some younger people still say half past and most know what it means. It's just how Henry said "half six" you can't really tell if it's half TO six or half PAST six. 😂
Half six being 6:30 is how it works in England, and I always felt this was meant to take place in the north, where the English mostly settled. So it would make sense they follow a British custom.
Second ❤
My favorite part is when The grifter drowns the girl
Yeah I can’t with the accents either 😝
Sarahs execution i was hoping sarah when she was admitting the fake allegations she would say i wasnt the only witch Salomon and i were i kinda wish she made up a lie cus the towns people believed Anything
Anytime I hear “awe tits” on this channel I giggle uncontrollably
The people aren't to blame, i don't know why you guys are against the people and how they reacted. Imagine a supernatural curse (like a real curse, because this is a movie) starts hunting your town and killing people, damaging your goods, food, animals and the only way to stop it is to kill the witch that made the deal/curse, they have to hunt the person they think did it, the only problem here is how do they know?... Ya'll can't be mad at the people living in the small town that were happy and normal people before that mf made a deal with the devil. Like ya'll wouldn't agree that the sherrif (solomon) had to die for what he did? The villagers just didn't killed the right person after all.
Out All The Movies This Is Definitely My weakest.. but It Had a Pretty Good Conclusion To this Trilogy 👌 My Ranking
1. Fear Street Part 2 1978.8/10
2. Fear Street Part 1 1994.7/10
3.Fear Fear Street Part 3 1666. 6.5/10
I wouldn’t say this was a strong conclusion to this trilogy but it’s still good just not as good as the first 2 movies. Idk why they made the flashback characters be the actors from the present it was really distracting. A 4th movie has been announced to be in the works and I’ll definitely be seated for that. Overall this was a great trilogy I had sm fun with it when it was coming out.
I see you everywhere it's crazy 😭Mostly on Puggapillar vids
Firssst 💖💖💖
I thought this was the weakest movie of the trilogy, it was okay, but it just didn't do it for me. The other two just had something to them that this one didn't
Really didn't care for this one at all.
great, a progressive-feminist horror movie, something you don't see in Hollywood...yes, how witty...yes...👀
