will this work on an 03 Cali emission LB7 with the EGR? I tried one from another dealer and it would not seat flush against the turbo.............after looking at my stock air horn I noticed it has a small indentation at the bottom that was allowing to get flush with the turbo.
im wondering the same thing, and had the exact same problem as you. the side rubs against the metal there where the dimple is on the stock elbow. let me know if you have any new information, thanks man.
How do you bolt it up to the turbo if the two bottom holes on the intake horn aren't holes they look like you slide it on and then bolt the top bolt or something
It works the other way around. You should put this on if you are looking to get the most power out of your built transmission truck. This get's more air into the turbo, so the truck can produce more power. I hope that clears things up. Scott
What’s your opinion on LB7 intake heater delete.

Is this supposed to make the truck louder when I start the truck ?

You put the bolts in about 60% of the way then slide the horn down onto them ,then tighten them down with the horn in place
@@troykenney176 I'm doing my intake horn tomorrow this is gonna help alot thanks
What about boring it out and polishing it the stock one?

is a built transmission really a requirement to add the intake horn? i cant see that just the horn will add that much power.
