3 Types of Crunches & How To Do Them Correctly | Ab Exercises For Beginners

  • The crunch is a great ab exercise everybody can do anytime and anywhere. In this video I present you 3 types of crunches: the forward crunch, the reverse crunch and the olique crunch. To maximize your results, you have to keep some things in mind while doing these ab exercises.
    Depending which type of crunch you do, you prioritize certain muscle groups. While the forward crunch targets predominantely the upper ab region, reverse crunches target the lower region while oliques target your sides.
    All in all there is not much to say regarding the technique - the most important point is your lower back and bodytension. Doing crunches on a regular basis will be benefitial for any Calisthenics skill you want to learn.

      Yeah it's because in the back spin you spin actually on your upper shoulders. Check it out again, I mentioned that 👍🏼
