Michael Jones you do realize this "Loud house Movie" isn't even until 2020 of summer right?? There's probably gonna *MOST LIKELY* be new episodes of the LOUD HOUSE before the movie actually airs 2 YEARS later! That gives this show 4 years until it gets a movie because this show started in 2016 and the movie doesn't even happen till summer of 2020!
BOOM... This show will be around a total of 4 years until it had a movie..

Another example could be the MLP movie
It had a huge following for a couple of years after the show came out, but then the fanbase lost interest, so when the movie came out it only got $60 million worldwide
Animated films based on a cartoon series don't normally get too much attention nowadays since the main competition is Disney and other companies (Illumination, DreamWorks, etc) so I think a Loud House movie will not perform well and get some average reviews (which in this case, won't help the box office)

It was always rare for animated films based on a cartoon TV series to get much attention unless it was fully computer animated and had celebrity voices like every other generic animated theatrical film or if the show is from Japan, then they'd be a huge success in Japanese theaters. Despite being a trend in the 80s, most of them were box office flops. DuckTales was originally going to have a whole film series but the rest was scrapped due to the flop of Treasure of the Lost Lamp and the show was cancelled shortly after. Feature films based on kids shows in general don't often do do well in the box office, nor are they as well received as the TV show. There are exceptions of course like The Muppet Movie (well, more family than kids), Pokemon, Rugrats, and SpongeBob and the recent Paw Patrol movie apparently did pretty well at the box office and now there's a second theatrical film in the works.

Forgot to mention that Rugrats Go Wild was the third movie and came out when no one cared about either franchise anymore. Also, The Rugrats Movie was the highest grossing animated movie not made by Disney for years. 🤷🏾‍♂️ And Nickelodeon didn’t pay to make those, they just distributed it. Rugrats wasn’t produced in Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
Also, The Loud House uses a lot of shortcuts animation wise. It’ll probably cost the same as the TTG movie, so it shouldn’t have an issue making that back. Get a celebrity to guest star and they might be fine. It def will not cost the $25 mill that Go Wild did. (With distribution and promo, maybe. Otherwise, I doubt it.)
And if timing is y’all true concern, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut came out after their second (and worse) season and did well.
Don’t think this movie will break records or anything insane, but it has a chance given animation’s past history with show-to-screen affairs. They just have to market it well.

Honestly this show, even though I do enjoy it, might end pretty badly.
If it fails, well... it fails. The Loud House will struggle to rise back up.
If it succeeds, it’s certainly possible Nick could send this thing into the SpongeBob slump, milking it and possibly killing the show as a whole.
Honestly, I’m not sure why a movie is even being made. It sounds like a death wish. Honestly, I struggle with ideas that can even reach a 90-minute runtime.

Let the Legacy began if the Movie or The Series is not happening due to the Haters and The Ratings. Seriously, Nickelodeon and the internet reveal that The Loud House is the #1 kids show to ever happen to entertain people and it's way better than spongebob. Spongebob is getting old! 18 years and they keep making the characters worse from each episode of the season from their Personalities depending on the viewers and the writers. #Savetheloudhouse

    @sasamichan Před 6 lety +6

I think Loud House does have fans and people are starting to get fed up with Spounge Bob. but in order for me ti judge the movie I would have to know what its plot will be. Rugrats , MLP, Transformers, even wild thornberries introduced ideas that changed the nature of the series forever and that what I want for Loud House. Doug's 1st movie was the end of the series and didn't introduce any thing really all that game changing. Recess was almost the end of its series and the Hey Arnold Movie also didn't change its series that drastically. Also it wasn't meant to be in theaters. If Loud House does a movie it should add a new character or write one off or change the setting for the rest of the series. Did movies based on cartoons Kill off Optumus Prime or expand the friendship Map or reveal a close kept secret or add Dill or Add Kimi. a mad movie hits the reset button and puts things back to how they were before the movie started. Phineas and Fern's 2nd dimension movie upsets me since they mind erase every one. but the series finally of Phineas and Ferb where they show every one as teens was a lot of fun. and I could go on with more examples, Danny Phantom, Simpsons, Fairy Odd parents. Equestria girls, jimmy neutron, teen titans go, powerpuff girls, etc.
other things the Loud House movie needs to do
have a story and jokes that you can follow and enjoy if you never saw the series
not waist the time of fans of the show by showing us things we already know about the characters
have the movie do some thing they can only do in a movie that would never work on TV
don't air at the same time as any thing more exciting If Marvel, Disney, Pixar, Star Wars or any other big name comes out at the same time its screwed.
make every one talk about it both online and more importantly in the main stream
advertise it like crazy with toys and merchandise everyplace. hit up all the talk shows, make it a huge deal.
up the art style to way better quality then a TV budget.
get nominated for major awards not just the kids choice.
    have great DVD sales.
    some plot idea notes
Origin story: important to non-fans and interesting to fans but not needed exactly. In the end we would know how it all turns out and a lot of jokes might end up being better for the fans. Jokes only the fans get with character set up for non-fans is part of what happened in the MLP movie.
completely change the show's genre : They did this with Equestria Girls and Recess and Hey Arnold. Fans want to see the characters in there traditional setting. If you have them suddenly fighting spies or aliens or turn them in to an other species, became super heroes, lives in outer space, thought a war, it could confuse the audience.
have Lori go away to college, get married, have Rita have a new baby, age up Lily, have the house blown up and build a new house, any of these would be major game changers worthy of a movie and could be relatable stories to any one even non-fans and you wouldn't need to do origin stories.
road trip or travel to an exotic location. This could be a fun story all on its own and it could make for a fun movie but I don't know if it would have the same draw if the Louds "Went to China" or "Got lost in Hawaii" or "tried to follow a treasure map on a road race" it would be interesting but not particularly epic.
    so those are my thoughts.

In my opinion, there are 3 major problems that stand in the way of The Loud House Movie’s success, and here they are.
1: First off, the show is WAY too controversial right now, with all the haters, it’s going to be very hard to make a profit at the box office.
2: Secondly, the show follows a very simple premise of a typical day in the life of a family with 11 kids, with Lincoln as the only boy in the middle of all the chaos. It’s going to be very hard to create a feature length movie about the Loud kids without straying too far from the idea of the show. A completely different storyline than the kind we’re already used to would certainly be controversial among fans, and less people will want to see the movie.
3: Finally, and most importantly, The Loud House is a relatively new show to Nickelodeon, being only in its third season. Though the characters have already seen some pretty major development, and the story already has a basic foundation in place, it’s just way too early to make a movie. We need to give the show some time to become more recognizable, we need time to bring in more viewers and higher ratings, and most importantly, time to let people warm up to The Loud House and maybe reduce the amount of hate surrounding it. The more seasons a show has, the more attention it gets. More attention means more fans, means higher ratings, means more money, means Nickelodeon has a bigger budget for a better movie.
That being said, the only way they could make more seasons of The Loud House us if they change it up a bit, do something crazy and new to attract more viewers. However, if they change too much of the show, they could also lose a lot of die hard fans that watch The Loud House for what it is now. To make a new season that does something different but still stays true to the nature of the show is a very difficult balancing act for Nickelodeon to preform, especially without Chris Savino's support. Though, with all the talented writers already working on The Loud House, I'm sure they could pull such a specific and tricky task off. It might take a few tries, but I think once the crew gets it down, they could create something truly spectacular, something that could bring the ratings up, bring the money in, and, most importantly, bring in the potential for a fantastic movie.
