Legally it is, but some people only realise that risking someone else's safety is bad if it might result in danger to their self. Some people are that egoistic and need this wakeup call. If you can't be nice because you have empathy they can at least be safe in traffic so that they don't get their car door ripped open by a madman.

To anyone who read the story of Elaine Hardy and her brother, I would urge you to watch the videos of Ashley Neal next. He is a British driving instructor who, like no other, can make road ragers come across like small children. It really makes you think how you can look. Also, he gives lots of great advice on how to drive nicely which, really, give you and others a good feeling. It helps to make that daily commute feel a lot lighter. And sure, ragers will still be on the road, but if you learn to see them for what they are - temper tantrum six year old bullies - you just laugh, make some space for them to act out and drive safely to work or home. Don’t let other drivers ruin your day.
Brake checking someone should be a serious crime because the other person is taking advantage of the fact that the person who rear ends somebody is always in Fault. Honestly the whole insurance claim should be counted as fraud
I though that was changed. If you can prove a break check causes a wreck the break checker becomes at fault. Not 100% sure tho (also I b n america so take that into consideration)
Oowh really, imagine if that guy in the car had a gun..he would pull the trigger in "self defense",.yes that driver goes to jail, maybe,.but losing your life is not the price you want to take..
@garryjohnson6794 take the gun away and a little man dose not think he's so big when he gets a smack in the face. The answer is don't act like a dick and you won't get a clip
Violence keeps people in negative karmic cycles, but they just don't realize it. We all have opportunities to say no to violence, but few choose to do so.
The only reason to brake check somebody is if you are in the right lane, and going the speed limit, and the person is riding on your butt. That person deserves it a brake check!!!!
I drive a pickup truck, and had a women tailgating me so closely that I could only see the roof of her car, when I tapped my brakes she finally backed off. Some people just need to be TOLD
Older cars usually don't have doors that automatically lock after like 10 mph. My 97 LeSabre doesn't, but my 2016 base model Focus did. It slips the mind lol
This is why when someone cuts me off, in my head I’m like “who cares, I’ve got somewhere to be” constantly. Don’t have the time nor do I want to drive longer than I have to.
I have lived in Houston less than a year and personally know of two instances where road rage has resulted in firearms being drawn, and in one instance shots being fired leading to a hospitalization. Got a dash cam and am hesitant to honk because of it.
Tips for life. Assume everyone has a gun, assume everyone is a psycho, assume everyone had nothing left to lose. If that were the case we'd all be nice to each other
Assume everyone else is a good person and whatever they did to piss u off was a mistake and they probably feel bad about it. I always thought that today its their turn to be forgiven and sometimes its going to be mine. I forgive everyone so i will hopefully be forgiven too
There is always the other side of the coin such as being randomly assaulted by strangers because they find it funny. That sadly happens a lot... mostly to me because I'm disabled. I'm an easy target.

The way I see it is if your crazier than everyone else you don’t have to look far but to the mirror to find them and usually other people will back off once they test your limits and see you are unpredictable
Believe me, I never thought that my brother was completely "innocent' in all this - Perry sometimes had a temper, and in the weeks leading up to the tragic event, I think that something happened, and it turned into this ongoing "thing" between the two men and then whenever they saw each other they would do things to the other. And don't they always say, "It takes two"? Perry didn't deserve what happened to him, not by a long shot. And I don't have a clue what started it - but I have a hard time believing that some random black dude just picked him out one day and decided to go for it. I just don't believe that. I think it's better than likely that BOTH men were at fault.
I always try to be nice to everyone, because you never know what people are capable of. I recently dug up a 250lb rock from my front yard and listed it for free. The man who came for it looked a bit overweight, but not to bad. He just crouched down and picked it up and walked off with it 😮 Imagine making him angry lol.
I live in an area of “large glacial cobble” I can’t imagine anyone coming to get my rocks. I have enough huge fieldstone dug out to build a small medieval castle. Maybe i should list them on ebay. Cheap. Shipping charges are a bugger though
I basically did the same thing the guy in the video did. A guy cut me of and break checked, then i pulled up infront of him, blocking his way. Got iut of the car, but in the car I saw a scared young guy with his girlfriend and I just couldn't hit him. I just told him:" You are lucky you didn't do this to a real crazy and violent character". Hope he learned the lesson, not to do stuff like that. I am also getting better at controlling my temper, because when I was younger, my temper was very short and I wasn't good at controlling myself. I was proud of myself that day, that I could restrain myself from being violent. Because I always regret it later

The absolute best interaction.
It is illegal, reckless driving/reckless engagement. You’d get fined for it and if it leads to an accident, you could be charged further

Anyone who brake checks, should be banned from driving forever and jailed for at least a year.

The only reason to brake check somebody is if you are in the right lane, and going the speed limit, and the person is riding on your butt. That person deserves it a brake check!!!!
