I wanted to thank you for your no nonsense approach to the alpha 6000. Seriously i just needed to know what settings to start at so I could figure out where I needed to be. I appreciate it. Can you help? If I record in AVCHD then the audio and video are out of sync in Olive (maybe in other editors too, I don't know). I use Olive 1 as 2 doesn't really work on my set up. It isn't a variable frame rate issue, and it's not just on export. Right from the import, the file is out of sync. Both video and audio recorded directly on camera. Happens with multiple cameras of different makes. I only need to drag the audio to fit, but it's time consuming. Just to be clear, the audio doesn't drift (which would be a bigger nightmare) it's just about 2 seconds out. I filmed something in MP4 and it didn't happen, but MP4 is a poor option on my Sony A6000 because the 1440X1080 reappears in the video editor even though the file on its own plays back at 1920x1080

I'm just with one doubt about that. My a6000 doesn't have the option 60p 50M. I don't know why... only 24p 50M and 50p 50M. Maybe because I'm in Europe (because of the differences between Europe and US) ?

Yeah, it's because Europe uses some sorta different file system! But you can change it in the settings to get access to 60fps, under the last tab, under number two, there you see "PAL/NTSC Selector". There you can change to NTSC and then you'll be able to have 60 fps! :)

I guess, you need an SDXC card and only have an SDHC card. SDXC cards are faster or something. This solved my problem.

@@TylerCharnelle The screen flips out 90 degrees from the back. It does not flip right up so you can't use it as a VLOG camera unfortunately.
What type of lenses do you recommend for a6000 when doing videos for CZcams, videos like this one when you'll have a person in front of the camera talking and showing products reviews

NEED HELP......I use this camera for my CZcams channel! I don’t use the record on the camera, I use it with the software I use which is OBS Studios. My image quality is showing well but has a delay little in my movement and audio. When I actually move, it moves like a second late in the video. Any idea on what that can be??

Question! I did all of this, and I have a mac. Does anyone know how to import the videos from the camera to the mac? Online it says to use the PlayMemories app, so I downloaded it, but it's not compatible with the latest version of Mac software. Now I'm lost and don't know what to do. Any ideas?

I Recently Updated to version 3.21 but still I didn't get that option to shoot 60frame , how come you have that option even though we both have the same model??
Maybe it is because of your SD card? I needed an SDXC card for another option, because the standard ones don't work for some of the "more intense" options.

I’m guessing you only have the 1440x1080 option because of your memory card. Try a Sandisk Extreme Pro SD card and all settings should work :)

Sounds like you have PAL set instead of NTSC for the video mode.

I recommend the Sandisk Extreme Pro memory cards.
Do not recommend in creative style to use the "NEUTRAL" with values: -3, -3, -1 ?? And then with Davinci or Premiere edit it clearly.

S is for shutter speed, A is for aperture, P is for Paparazzi 🤡, M is for manual...SCN is for scene.

yo, very good video but want to ask something. I m gonna buy a a600 with kit lens and I ll use it for my CZcams channel. so I need face detection or cont. focus to my face. can we use this options without AF lens? I mean with kit lens? or we must have a AF spec lens..
For auto focus to work the lens needs to support it. On auto focus theres’s a switch on the side of the lens between auto and manual focus

Heey! I have an a6500 and what I mainly do is vlogs, but filming in 4K saves a lot of space. Do you think doing it on XAVC S HD would be good quality? Also, is 60p50m, 30p50m or 24p50m better? Sorry for all the questions, I can't find an answer anywhere! Thank you! 🥺❤️
gabypolancoa X AVC S HD will still be great for vlogs. X AVC S 4K is the best but that actually takes up the most space. 24p50m would be the way to go if you’re just looking to vlog without needing slo-mo footage, but if you do want to slow footage down smoothly, shoot in 60p50m! make sure you edit in a 24p timeline! 24p is also easier to sync audio with in most cases too. hope this helps 😊

You first have to change the "File Format" to "XAVC S" which is on the first page of the settings menu. See here: czcams.com/video/pGom7SDwGwQ/video.html You'll then get those frame rate options in "Recording Settings" on the next page.
Is there any downside other than space and size to not shooting every single shot in 60P? And render all not slow motion to 24p?

Get yourself an SDXC card so you can use the better formats.
So I'm guessing XAVCS is 1080p while the other two are 720p?
When going to Record Setting, it only allows me to switch between 25p and 50p. Do you know how i can get 60p? My SD Card is very fast (150MBS V30)
Select NTSC instead of PAL. You will get 60 fps that way.

How can I shoot a video in 16:9 aspect ratio?
I have my @6000 and I'm super gratified to use it in video productions - I rarely photograph ... Since 2015, but now it's "jumping" between modes during operations, if I'm recording in MODE A for example , the camera can jump on its own to anyone else and I've seen this on some RX100s I've had, they get like that when they started to break down to go on until the total loss of controls. Has anyone experienced a failure like this? Is there any fix?

With the discontinuity of @6000 I have questions about replacing it 🤔 Could it be the ZV-10 or is the logic to follow in the family (6100, 6300, 6400, 6500 or 6600)?

Why would you recommend 24p without explanation in a beginner video?
Cause if you use 30p it mean you should use 60fps. That look unrealistic motion for videos

Чтобы стали доступны настройки использования 60 и 30, нужно перейти на последнюю вкладку "Инструменты", далее на 2 страницу и переключить формат с PAL на NTSC. При этом должна быть последняя прошивка и скоростная карта. Пожалуйста!
