Sony A6000 Short Film in Dubrovnik - ESCAPE

- "Escape" is a short film that I made with my wife on our honeymoon one year ago in Dubrovnik. Coming there we knew that we will record something because it's a beautiful place, but when we was there we felt that a regular travel video will not satisfy us.
We didn't have any plan or screenplay, I just decided to make a simple story about Thief and Princess that are not happy with their current lifestyle ( in Aladdin / Prince of Persia theme). Ideas for scenes was improvised depending on what we was actually visiting and I puted the story together from all that in post so it's far from perfect, but for a film that was made in the meantime of traveling it's not that bad I think :D

Also be sure to watch film with good speakers or headphones, there are no dialouges so music and sound play an important role!

Many of you guys asked me why this film is in 4k when a6000 can only record in 1080p and the answer is simple - it was recorded in HD and I just exported project in 4k for better youtube compression 🙂
Hey man, is there any tutorial I can use to do this? I have the a6000 and I would like to know more about better export settings and techniques with 1080p footage.
@@heyimceli7999 There are some tutorials for sure, it depends what program you use but it's really very simple, you just need to set your project to 4k when exporting.

I am asking because I am thinking of buying one but I don't know if the quality is going to be enough to make a profit. You don't have to tell me any profit details just if it's worth trying to sell stock or not... Thank you.
Is this the best camera of it's price range I can get? Can I hope to make any sort of profit selling stock videos and photos with the sony a6000 now in 2022? (I mean my personal skills aside... is the camera quality up to today's stock photography and videography standards?) You would be helping me a lot thanks...
@@MysticalJessica I don't sell stock footage so I don't know but I think for photography it might be good enough for selling, for video I would consider 4k camera for stock footage.

Although it was shot in natural lighting, I'm sure Colour grading played a crucial role in making this look like nothing less than cinematic experience thing...If possible make a video on craft work or behind the scene things!

Thank You so much! I upscaled from hd to 4k, it was 2.39:1 aspect ratio. I made it in Premiere and now I work in Davinci so I don't remember all settings :)

Thanks man, I would also consider Standard -3 -3 -3 this time, portrait has more dynamic range because it has less contrast but standard has better colors so they have their pros and cons :)

Amazing work, so this was all shot in ambient light? No bounce boards or reflectors etc..? Once again amazing work.

Thanks man! I'm not sure what iso I used but I guess about 400-800. I almost never go beyond 800.

I just got my Sony a6k. I have rokinon 12mm, Sigma 30mm 2.8 and Minolta 50 1.7 a-mount with adapter.
