- Harry's concludes his 2018 tour in LA, but his breathing problems plague him throughout the evening. His desire to end the tour on a high note has taken a priority over his body - Los Angeles on 7/14/2018.
Despite Harry's health, he continues to entertain millions across the world. Asthma is a very common condition and affects each person differently, and is typically very manageable.

That fog should not be used. I have been to concerts where It was so thick It mess with contacts and breathing.
Wonder what method they used to produce the fog? (a fog machine, dry ice, many many ways to create fog).

Fog machines and asthma do NOT get along. That fog will lock up your lungs unbelievably quickly.
Sometimes I just want to pick him up and set him in my lap and tell him that he’s going to be okay and that he doesn’t need to be perfect. He should take life at his own pace and take a moment to breathe. 😔✊

I was at this show! The energy was unreal and by Kiwi, he was def tired but still entertained us like the pro that he is.
I’m sure it was great! Although you mostly see his troubles during Kiwi, you can also see that heal was having some issues the entire night.
Do either of you remember the month & year of this show?
It kinda looks like he may have been sick too (like a cold or flu bug)... but could also be suffering from plain exhaustion (which can be VERY dangerous even to the point of hospitalization). I hope he felt better the next day!

I don’t understand why they use fog machines at his concerts when it triggers asthma attacks. It is dangerous for him to push himself to such extremes with his condition. I wish the entertainment industry would take better care of stars and have better management teams that protect them. He needs to take more breaks also. Professionals entertainers should never be pushed to such extremes that their health and wellbeing are in danger.

OMG, it is hard enough to have a persistent cough.I couldn't imagine being a world class performer trying to sing in front of tens of 1000's of people in LA who have come to see you- not to mention all the key players in the entertainment industry! Hats off to Harry for remaining strong and professional!
Yeah…he has to push through whatever he might be going through that day. He’s never cancelled a show (other than for outside reasons). I’m sure this industry is incredibly hard and demanding.
@@MyMindMood I saw an interview right after Coachella and he said while on tour,he drinks no alcohol, eat very healthy,drinks lots of water, gets 11-12 hours sleep per night and doesn't stay up late.Smart man.He has been doing this since he was 16.He knows what works for him.Its entertainment for us and he loves performing but it is,after all, a working career,and he is making it all work.I think one of his greatest strengths is surrounding himself with a team of people who he has worked with for a long time.
@Deborah Godley Yes, I've heard him say that too. He seems to take his health very seriously. I think he learned his lesson about rest and recovery from his demanding 1D days. He seems to have good people surrounding him.

Sometimes I just want to hug him and say to him, that it's okay, that he just exists. I'm fine with him just reading a phonebook, a goodnight story or the weather forecast for me. Or just to know, that he is somewhere out there. I really adore his work ethics and the way he wants to give everything.❤How can you not love him?

I also have asthma and I know how hard it is or can be. I had no more breathing problems or attacks for years, but its never fully away, so I carry my inhaler always with me, because ,I know, one day it will come back. 😢 Harry is so brave ❤

I just lost my spouse at 33 years old, 11 months ago to asthma and it’s nothing to play with. Once yearly she was hospitalized in ICU while they pumped her with steroids to try to get her lungs back together. It was so awful to watch and I’m in the most pain one person can ever experience but, I’m thankful she is finally at peace without any physical pain & I know she’s still with me. No more machines, inhalers, and hospitals. I miss you so much my love. RipAngel! #llb

I'm actually really glad you've made this account because I also struggle with asthma, so seeing him also struggling is very comforting and educational, if you know what I mean. I like seeing his struggles and how similar our reactions are to certain things. I love singing but, 1, I have a terrible voice ☹️, and 2, my asthma gets in the way, by the chorus I'm wheezing and coughing. I normally sing to his songs, and his parts in 1d, and it is HARD to do what he did and does.
So many ppl struggle with it. I think it’s inspiring to see a celebrity perform and love their job despite how hard it might be for them. Hope you stay healthy and that you can sing if that’s what you want to do!
I'm a singer with asthma, to say that he's inspiring is to say nothing. I also love to move a lot and end up being out of breath sometimes after 2 songs. I screwed up one of my exams miserably because of not giving myself a moment to recover and the last song was also the most demanding then. Also the first month after having Corona was horrible. I had been making so much progress before and then it all went like a year back. The high tones I worked so hard for were gone and I would be out of breath after every song. But I hope, that with work and exercise I can improve even more and be able to have energetic shows some day :) he's a legend and an example for us to be legends too, don't give up ❤️

I don't have to have breathing issues to have trouble finishing a song after singing it 3 times. Especially after an entire concert and with the intense way that he performs.
No doubt he overworked himself at the end. But he was having troubles the entire show.

As a chronic asthmatic who has dealt with asthma since I was 3, this made me uncomfortable and anxious to watch, and made me feel so sorry for the guy. Even slight changes in atmosphere, temperature, and routine can trigger your asthma, which is probably what triggered his. The fog, heat, and possible exhaustion.
I got put on a treatment that worked well to control and prevent my asthma attacks, but since starting my new job, where I'm around very potent and hazardous chemicals everyday, I've been having severe attacks that my treatment hasn't been able to control or prevent, and it's very uncomfortable.
For anyone who doesn't know much about asthma - the airways tighten and tense (bronchospasm), which restricts airflow; then they swell and fill with mucus, which causes a “wheezing” kind of squeak, and the mucus restricts airflow even further.
I’m sorry to hear of your health challenges. Indeed, asthma can be finicky and any little thing can set it off. I hope my videos bring some awareness and insight to how much Harry does for his fans. Stay healthy!

I did SOTT karaoke just to myself once... I had very very bad asthma when I was younger but now it rarely bothers me, only when I do a ton of running or exercise. By the end of SOTT I needed my inhaler. His asthma is so much worse than mine and he sings so many more songs, yet he has the best concerts. Harry is a true performer and no one can make me change my mind.

many people might not understand that harry styles has asthma and it’s not an easy thing to get through I have it and I can say that I really don’t know how he did this concert especially with all that fog, it’s hard to watch him catch his breath and he kept on coughing throughout the show and he barley danced because if he did he would pass out, I know this was 4 years ago but I still remember this every time I have an asthma attack, poor guy he should know that he doesn’t have to be perfect and he could have canceled the show and done it the next day put it would be really hard to tell THOUSANDS of people to come back tomorrow that’s why he did cancel and did it this day this is how much he loves us and how much effort, energy, time, love, and basically his whole life into just ONE ONE show

This was heartbreaking to watch. I get it that he has a paying audience and he wants to do his best by his fans. But asthma can be fatal. I really wish that he would refund the audience and get the medical attention he so clearly needs. We would miss him so much if anything was to happen to him. ♥️

I used to have asthma when I was younger now I outgrew of that but I remember the pain well. You get exhausted by breathing during an attack. He is pushing himself so much singing, dancing and entertaining a whole arena. I’m proud to say he is my Idol and he always reminds me to work hard whenever I feel down and done but I really hope that he look after himself better. He is only human he doesn’t have to be perfect for us to love him and support him. I just hope he will understand that what is important for us most is his well-being. Take care H. Love you.

Was wondering that as well. I don't have asthma yet find it difficult to breath when there is fog at concerts or other venues. I can't even begin to imagine what he was going through. It was so painful to watch.

As a chronic asthmatic myself, it really hurts my heart seeing Harry struggle so much for his breath. It’s a scary feeling when you just can’t get enough air into your lungs, and you feel like ur gonna pass out.
I also used to sing semi-professionally and there were times when I just couldn’t breathe... it’s hard to even get ANY sound out at all sometimes, never mind hit the right notes and make them sound like any other performance.
Hats off to you Harry, such a professional... and such a kind hearted, loving individual, never wanting to let anyone down.😘

I have watched multiple videos from you with harry in this condition. I can’t believe that with all these health issues he is still able to do shows. He is such a trooper mg! I also can’t believe that they still use a fog machine while knowing about Harry’s asthma. Don’t they care more about his health than cool effects? I hope he is ok.
They use way less fog now. I went to a show in Chicago and the fog was very very light.
