It always seemed to be Harry that was sick, I feel so bad that that he struggled so bad and had such a hard time breathing like he probably barely felt good here. I love him a lot and makes me feel bad that he was sick so much and even him not being able to breathe on stage but still trying to sing at the same time like he truly just wanted to make everyone happy, also the others were concerned for him and that was so so sweet of them, they loved him I believe they still do. Even when Niall checked up on him and liam was worried that was precious. I hope he is better with this type of thing now I hope it’s easier for him.
He seems to be doing better now and has the ability to balance his career and health more.

@@Bribelle1989 As you can see from my videos, he has pushed through a lot over the years. We don't really know how much it affects him or how he's really feeling, but he obviously can still perform regardless!

Oh my God. I found that in the 2015 interviews, he didn't express himself much, I found him almost boring. but in fact he was not always well! I didn't realize! it breaks my heart when we see him from 2:22 taking very small breaths to be able to speak until the end. poor angel.
Yeah. This interview always made me sad, because they should’ve just said he’s on vocal rest, like they’ve done in previous interviews, when Harry clearly wasn’t okay. Management team sucked in 1D days. And still sucks, because we have Jeffery still. Jeffery was around during the 1D days.
@@CaitS34 and in addition he always keeps his shirt open for the seduction side...I wonder if that doesn't accentuate the fact that he gets cold quickly...unless the open shirt is to breathe more freely? mmm, I don't know much about his manager. he's not a good person you think? maybe harry didn't want to be left out of the group either with his health issues?
He does seem to not be able to speak in full sentences here, but then again you can tell he's not feeling great at all. I doubt his shirt has anything to do with his breathing - I think it was all about his style.
@@MyMindMood yes here hes totally out if breath… and hes using his accessory breathing muscles… he wouldnt hv been able to sing a word in this day im sure… when he was asked about his tattoo the way he gasped i felt so sad… he wasnt even smiling as much as he normally does and didnt seem to engage atall… also why was he on a juice cleanse and what is a juice cleanse ?

Harry sounds so congested and whenever he is sick his lips are always extra red. I feel so bad he looks so exhausted

I had watched this interview I felt really bad for Harry he was coughing a lot, he also seemed tired but that was normal since he was sick. Luckily James had taken into consideration that Harry was sick and didn't make him talk too much, Liam also looked worried for Harry. I'm not a doctor so I can't know what he had but he really needed to rest and heal himself quietly. Once again thank you for your videos the more I watch them and the more I realize that he took a lot on himself as much during their concerts as on TV sets
Liam always seemed to be checking on Harry, even just a quick look, to make sure he was OK.
@@MyMindMood Can a viral infection make his asthma worse? I read some comments from the same interview and some comments say he had bronchitis. It's true that Liam very often paid attention to Harry, maybe because he was the youngest and with his health problems he worried the other members of the group more often.
Yeah Liam almost felt like a brother to him I think… but i am amazed how they continued to tour and behave like nothing was happening when Harry was constantly being so ill… i feel bad for all of them actually
@@charlenemawete Yes, absolutely. Most asthmatics have an asthma flare when sick with a virus. Also, Harry likely had asthmatic bronchitis here, which goes in tandem with the asthma problems.
@@sammylj3644 Honestly I don't know how they did it, it must be very stressful to be with a person who is very often sick, I think they are all trying to protect him so as not to aggravate his rather fragile state of health.

Watching your videos really puts into perspective all that harry had to go through for our entertainment. It seems that he’s the one who’s always sick. I hope he has more control over this in the future! I do think he should have skipped out on that interview he really did seem ill. Im sure everyone would understand. His group could have also just said that he was on vocal rest like they have done before when harry wasn’t feeling well. This broke my heart.
He really didn’t look very good here. But glad he’s doing better nowadays.

I don’t love drawing attention to specific moments, of Harry not being okay, but there’s a show during Harry’s solo tour, that he used oxygen, during the show. I’m not sure if you know about that one, but that’s what everyone says is happening. Obviously I know the truth, but like I already said, I’m not sharing that kind of details.
It's true, but likely had the oxygen available because of the high altitude where he was performing. I'm working on a vid of that concert as well.
He was in Denver which has a very high altitude.
The last couple years of One Direction were the worst. Harry was CONSTANTLY sick. They were so overworked poor babies! With Harry’s hay fever, the asthma (which he had as a baby) symptoms would flare up.
He was so sick in 2014-2015. And his asthma he had "just as a baby" (wink, wink)

I used to have Asthma but I grew out of it so I can relate to Harry

I have asthma and stuff but like not as bad as Harry and I get sick easily so I relate to him and I relate to being embarrassed to cough. He deals/dealt with it great though.

Having asthma and knowing how awful the attacks can be, I cant help but wonder how on earth he could handle it that well 😳 I mean when I've had asthma attack, I've been absolutely unaible to do anything until it has gone away

Amazing video thanks… such day to day regular stuff can be so tedious huh… see i had not even noticed the chest heaving or the fast breathing till u mentioned it…i hv honestly never seen such a severe asthmatic in my life… i hv a friend who has asthma but their attacks are few and far in between and he doesnt struggle so much to breathe… i heard of a few athletes and footballers who had asthma even but it never seemed to affect them the way it affects Harry… is Harrys asthma very severe or just poorly managed… i cant imagine the biggest pop star in the world not having access to a decent doctor really
I know of some very severe asthmatics who are seen by the best doctors in the country, and they still can't get it under control and even need oxygen while sleeping. While having this severe of asthma is not super common, it does happen. Harry could potentially be on all the medications for asthma (inhalers, pills, steroids, nebs, shots, etc) and the stupid asthma still goes above and beyond the treatment. I would suspect he's getting adequate treatment nowadays (because he does seem healthier than before), but it obviously is still very bothersome to him.
I’d just like to offer some perspective as a physician. While I don’t want to downplay Harry’s impressive stoicism and tenacity (and partly recognising his obvious preference to avoid being a target of pity), I’d like to emphasize that what we are seeing in his videos are not severe asthma attacks. He is certainly uncomfortable, short of breath, and putting up with a lot. He is, however, able to speak in (at least almost) full sentences. He is singing in many of the videos, which limits the ability to breath fast, which is probably what he would like to do, and he is tolerating it reasonably well. In a severe attack, he would not be able to speak, would probably be “tripodding” while breathing quickly with elevated shoulders, and would not be up for making any effort to sing because it would be simply impossible. I think Harry deserves infinite praise for his effort despite a long struggle, but I also think that he would probably not prefer to have his struggle exaggerated, given his desire to keep it hidden. I hope my comment is not taken the wrong way - I think he’s absolutely fantastic, and consider myself a huge fan of his for many reasons!
@@kajakonieczny4244 thanks a lot…i am learning u know…ur right what we see in the videos is not a full blown asthma attack…but what i mean to ask is…is it normal for all asthmatics to be short of breath like this…I don’t even know whether he should hv used his inhaler in some of the scenarios that we have seen…that why i am just curious to know from u guys…ask me about leukaemia and aml and blood stuff etc i consider myself a pro but asthma and other chronic conditions i know nothing about them
@Kaja Konieczny - Thanks for that physician perspective. He has had moments of tripodding, but agree that most of the time it is manageable (yet uncomfortable) for him. That is a great point about not giving him pity, but rather just accepting him and letting his health be what it is to him. I think quite honestly that's how most people see the situation. He truly does set the stage for what he wants people to think of his asthma, which is just something he deals with and lives with. Feel free to chime in whenever you want with your vast medical knowledge!

If you notice, he's also twitching with his fingers, a sign of anxiety. I goes on to show that they're normal people and should be treated as such and not forced to do so many things in the course of a few days. It has more than a few physical tolls that the boys were constantly showing signs of. If they do come back, and I really hope they do, let's hope they don't exert themselves so much.
Yes, you can see lots of anxious signals with the boys. Niall and Louis seemed to handle it the best I think. Did you ever see the video where Harry is working out at 1am and talking about how he will sleep for 4 hrs and have to get up at 5am. They were so exhausted.

He was sick so much, and never seemed to fully recover.
It was always harry getting Ill, his breathing condition and asthma never helped. Love how the guys r concerned tho.
I don’t think Harry’s body could handle the demand unfortunately. He seems to keep a better balance now on tour, and I hope he doesn’t ever work himself too hard again.

Most of my videos were from pre-Covid. Overall he seems healthier now than before.

Seriously, have you ever had a cold or the flu or a scratchy voice after a night out at a bar or a show talking too loudly? Harry is having a reaction to the JAB. His lungs are being filled with pneumonia and blood clots day by day. I can hear it in his chest and voice. He need's to take some time to recover or he will pay with his life.
