So it took Gasly six laps to let him by. That could have cost them a point when you think about it.
And I don't get Gasly point about Hartley just overtaking him. It's just safer to let him through rather than risk a tangle and lose everything.

lets just say in racing no one wants to loss... this is the version of lewis and rosberg in 2014 when they say they need to switch but the difference is lewis and rosberg dont have a car behind to attack them so its easy to switch but lewis did not do it... in this case there is sainz who is w8ing for attack maybe Gastly point of view is that either he be a team player and give the position with a possiblity of lossing 2 places or he can just hold that position cause its just a few laps until the end and get the points... plus when they did the swap its lap 70 already its just only 1laps away and sainz still cant make a proper attack so if I make the call ill say "oh hartley still in front of sainz he can hold on his own and im gonna take this position until the end"

@@Pal42_ Exactly..... F1 fans are so dumb.
They say that Stroll is there because of money even though he showed impressive things. They bash him even though Ericsson and Vandoorne REALLY suck. Hartley too.
They say that FIA helps Ferrari whilst EVERY TIME we see evidence that Mercedes is favored.
They think LeClerc is gonna beat Vettel, even though he's still a rookie, spins a lot and Vettel has amazing records and showed incredbile things in the past.
They think that Alonso would have won the 2018 championship with Ferrari despite Vettel beating him in 2010 and 2012.
They love Raikkönen who has a lame attitude, boring personality and his racing sucks so bad but they make excuses that Ferrari gives advantage to Vettel.
(Vettel got 2 teamorders in his Ferrari career this year, Kimi only 1 in all the time he raced with Vettel for Ferrari)
They say Hamilton is the greatest of all time (despite his dominant Mercedes in 2014 and 2015), and Vettel only won 4x cuz of his car (which had less hp than his rivals), despite him winning in a Toro Rosso.
They say that Senna is the greatest of all time despite Schumacher beating him in a car with 80 hp less.
When Vettel asks for blue flags, he's a crybaby. When everyone else does, they get angry at the backmarker and wish he gets a penalty.
When Verstappen crashes many people, it's ok, when he and Ocon come together (which was sitll Max fault) they are happy he won't have a seat next year.
They blame Vettel for Singapore 2017 when we all know it was once agian Crash-Happen
They deny that Lewis brake-tested him in Baku because the Federation Internationale AMG-Mercedes said so.

    • @milesyuen3926
      @milesyuen3926 Před 5 lety +3

@@Firemarioflower There are some things I do and don't agree with here, first off, the Vettel blue flag thing. People calling him a crybaby is just stupid, he's in a car where it's very hot, and in the car you could be very tense, and it would make sense for a driver to complain about the car getting out of the way.
Second, the Mercedes bias towards the FIA, I'll agree with you here, let's go back to Germany, where Lewis infamously crossed over the pit line and grass, yes it was under the safety car and he wouldn't gain time, but if he's in the pit lane and past the line, he can't go back, he has to keep going through it. He should've gotten a penalty if you ask me.
Now Singapore 2017, I think it was a good call to make it a racing incident, instead of a penalty, yes Vettel did move across the track, but how was he supposed to know Kimi was there too, along with Verstappen? If you ask me I think Max got sandwiched by the Ferraris, obviously unintentionally.
Back to Baku, Lewis did not brake check Vettel, as onboard footage and telemetry show that Hamilton has braked in the same area in the previous safety car before the contact.
And that's really it, if I were to keep going, let's be honest it'd be a stretch.
Also there were two moments Ferrari told Vettel to let Kimi through, in USA and most recently Brazil. Anyway, I hope we could respectfully disagree, or just agree, I hope next season's closer!

The swap wasn't really appropriate and Sainz was way too close from Hartley, I really think Gasly was right. Not because I'm french, but because Sainz could easily pass one of the 2 Toro Rosso at the beginning of the clash. Gasly kept the position against Sainz because he waited for Hartley to be free enough from the Renault. I don't get why they put so much pressure on Gasly, the situation was pretty simple to understand.
