For some reason in the part where Ellie practices Sniper shooting, you don't bolt the rifle, but Tommy's animation in the part where he kills Manny shows him bolting. Really weird.
The story about revenge with both Ellie and Abby had a 3rd victim consumed by vengeance, and it was Tommy. He lost a lot; his brother, got permanently blinded and scarred and his relationship with Maria has broken… He has nothing left and ended up alone. Even more so than Ellie...
Exactly, Joel may have been Ellies lover, but Joel was Tommy's brother, so Tommy must have been much more destroyed by his death and won't stop at nothing to Kill Abby.

I would enjoy a prequel where we play as Tommy. First during his and Joel's time as Hunters than during his time with the Fireflies and ultimately ending with him in Jackson and meeting Maria.
Joel and Tommy: *Saves Abby's life and brings her back to her crew; offers her crew a chance to restock before they venture further out.* Abby: *Proceeds to murder Joel for killing her dad years ago.* Now, I'm no mathematician, but....
I livestream this game every single day. And at least 3x a week someone asks me who my favorite character is - I always tell them Tommy. A true unsung hero of the franchise.
The sniper scene was really hard for me, because I had grown to care about Abbey’s struggles and her personal journey. Part of me hated the sniper, but then I realized it was Tommy. A character that I loved, but from Abbey’s perspective he was just another asshole killing her friends. It’s crazy how this game makes you realize just how similar all the people are. At the end of the day they’re all just broken individuals trying to survive and keep their friends and family safe. Even the Scars were just trying to make it better for themselves in the end.
There is much different between jackson people and wlf and the scars, especially if you mention tommy that he was inviting survivers strangers to live in jackson or even take supply and gear, but the wlf and the scars kill every single tresspaser on sight with no warning.
I'd actually like to see an entire game dedicated to the years after Sarah's death that follows Tommy, and where you get to see Joel and the events that play out from Tommy's perspective. Since the majority of the 20 years that take place in between the beginning of the outbreak and from when Joel meets Ellie are pretty-much shrouded in mystery, aside from a few points where Joel talks about his time as a hunter, and his time in a triage hospital directly after he lost Sarah, I think there's enough story there that it could work.
If it has a sequel, I think that it would most likely be about him against Abby, or maybe just Abby's new life, Ellie got softened by her life in the farm and the fear she suffers from because of her PTSD, and seeing how Abby took care of Lev and what she said after killing Jesse, meanwhile with what he said in the farm and what he suffers from now Tommy got some hard grudges and still know and could understand what she was trying to do at Santa Barbara idk
If Tommy hadn't been shot in the face he could've been the character to go behind Abby on the beach, okay I know it's not easy to walk but what about surgeries? Remember their town is quite big and if they have construction workers and engineers there, there's gotta be a surgeon to heal his leg. They did my boys Joel and Tommy dirty on this game.
Tommy first half: Listen ellie, revenge is a risk we shoudnt take, he was my brother... But i have a family... If we do this... you have to promise me that no matter what, we finish this. Okay? Ellie: Yeah sure Tommy later half: I have lost my leg, my eye, and my wife...but i found her , rigth here, i cant go but im sure you do. Ellie: Joel was like a father to me... But i have a family now... Tommy: Are you kidding? Right? Ellie...
Bro the shit dianna gives to Tommy like she understands the same pain for the both of them. When Tommy had suffered the pain to see his niece and his big brother died in front of him
Am i the only one who wants to know how tommy lived ? He got shot in the fucking head and had to travel 3 states by horse before getting medical treatment lol
Tommy was raging inside when he knew his brother got murdered. He was just acting to Ellie so she can stay safe and he could come back with news that Joel's killer is dead. Baby bro knew his brother for decades. He was filled with rage just like Ellie was. And Abby too.
So how is Last of Us Part 2? Joel dies from Abby and ruined golf for me early in the game. And Ellie gets nothing from her revenge. And Dina leaves her. And you can kill dogs. But Tommy is alive and well!
If you think Abby still should've died in the end, then you're a sociopathic moron. The irony is that all the villains of the game think the same way. You're a joke.
They should’ve started making DLCs for this game instead of remaking part 1. Would’ve really liked it if we got to play as Tommy to see what kind of encounters he dealt with looking for Abby and a short dlc how Jessie found Ellie.
Every time i remember the last of us i feel goosebumps and angry at the same time, i just feel we could spend more time with joel in the game but not as an memory, the game was great but still it was a big mistake to kill joel like this and that early
Tommy is right bro gave his face his leg his relationship with his wife for Joel, and then elly gets the life he wanted when she’s the one who pushed him to act I’d be pissed she did owe him
I hate abby for this but joel also killed innocent people that didn't deserve to die like Marlene, the 2 carivore guys that told him where ellie was,the firefly soldier that told him were ellie was and then those 3 doctors.sure they weren't as evil as the way abby kulled him but joel wasnt innocent of unjust murders as well.
I'm not going to defend Joels actions as morally pure, but Marlene was not innocent. Far from it. The fireflies were just as corrupt as any other group. Like, Marlene wouldn't even let Joel see Ellie, she told her goons to kill him if he tried anything even though she went back on her word and didn't give Joel the weapons as payment that she promised him, and she let her doctors put Ellie under without even asking Ellie what she wanted. And Abbys dad pulled a knife and threatened Joel. Whether or not Joel is Ellies dad he has more right to her than some random goons that may or may not have been able to make a cure (SUPER unlikely but a whole other discussion). Are the 'carivore' guys the ones in Davids group that Joel tortures? Because Joel walked out that door when he's healed and just wanted to know where Ellie was and was met with gunfire and then those two dudes ganged up on him. Joel got the upper hand and tortured them to get what he needed. He couldn't leave them alive cause they already proved they wanted to kill him. In an apocalyptic world, you eliminate the threats. Since Davids entire crew proved that they didn't give a shit about Ellie, it was in all fairness that Joel dealt with them the way he did. No he wasn't innocent I agree with you there, but he was arguably more justified in his decisions than Marlene or the fireflies.
If he had let them do surgery on Ellie, they could have developed a vaccine that would have helped thousands of lives. To save Ellie, Joel not only massacred all the fireflies present, but he also ruined any chances to save all the people who have been infected after that. It's just crazy how many people he killed to save one little girl, and to me, when you weight it all, Joel killed and made way more people suffer than Abby ever did. Sure, saving the life of an innocent girl is a good motive. But he killed so many people to do so that his action seems unjustifiable to me. And like Abby has said to her dad, she would have gladly died to save everyone from becoming zombies, and I'm pretty sure most people would be okay with sacrificing themselves to have a chance that their loved ones could be immune to the virus. In the end, I really see now real good person here. Joel massacred thousand and ruined humanity's only hope for a cure. Abby killed Joel when he was clearly not a threat anymore, just to get revenge, but she let Tommy and Ellie live. Ellie wanted to take revenge on Abby, but in the process killed two of her friends and the baby Mel was carrying. Abby then wanted revenge on that, and killed Jesse and hurt Tommy. It's just an endless cycle of revenge where everyone has at some point killed an innocent. Dina is the real hero of this story, I think. She was the one asking for the others to stop this cycle of violence.
this game isn't actually half bad if you pay attention to a majority of the cutscenes in further scenarios i love the cutscenes but the game in general i'm just afraid afraid to play this game.
One thing that I dont understand is that in the scene at 17:37 Tommy wants to leave and decides not to go after Abby any longer. But in the last scene he starts a fight with Ellie because he wants her to kill Abby. I dont understand the logic in that writing. Man this game had so much potential.
Dude, ffs. He lost a leg, an eye, and now even maria. In the first scene he was just talking out ellie from it. In the end he's a broken man. Even broke than the start of the game since now he really lost everything because of her. It's not lazy writing, it's lazy reading.
@@wonyung2003 Actually no, to hit his eye would have to pass through the brain, something that he won't manage to survive. @@joule407 It's painful but this game does exist. It would be a shame if it didn't because it's a pretty bold way to tell a revenge story.
I would enjoy a prequel where we play as Tommy. First during his and Joel's time as Hunters than during his time with the Fireflies and ultimately ending with him in Jackson and meeting Maria.
I've always wanted to play as Tommy in the Last of Us for a litle while. I love the version of sniper that Tommy has
Joel and Tommy: *Saves Abby's life and brings her back to her crew; offers her crew a chance to restock before they venture further out.*
Abby: *Proceeds to murder Joel for killing her dad years ago.*
Now, I'm no mathematician, but....
Pretty sure tommy still planning to hunt down abby
Joel & Tommy best brothership
thanks for the upload
Thank you for the upload
26:16 Tommy: Sitting all comfy way out here !
Tommy is a good brother❤️
Tommy dlc please! I wanna see his POV now
4:35 Infected are on the other side trying to get in and Tommy finds the time to introduce themselves? What the fuck Neil.
I'm not playing the las of us 2
But im just watching a gameplay
And knowing that tommyw still alive, is very happy news for me
I livestream this game every single day.
Damn hopefully you don't get hate for liking a game lol people are hella salty over this game
thiz guy I wouldn’t really care much, people are free to have their opinions. I’m just someone who ended up liking the game.
There is much different between jackson people and wlf and the scars, especially if you mention tommy that he was inviting survivers strangers to live in jackson or even take supply and gear, but the wlf and the scars kill every single tresspaser on sight with no warning.
محمد العوضي well unlike Jackson the Scars and WLF are at war
@@AesirUnlimited There should be more people like you man.
Someone that has his own opinion but respects the others'.
Tommy would have killed abby if only that little boy with arrow didn't shoot him.

@Ali Shabbiri idek the game sucks
@Ali Shabbiri She is.
Her real name was Lily, but she has masculine tendences.
So she cut her hair and renamed "himself" Lev.
Crazy detail at 12:35 when Ellie flags Tommy with the gun he dashes backwards to avoid the muzzle
Fucking love Tommy plz continue the saga with him!!!
tommy can't use the sniper anymore
Tommy first half: Listen ellie, revenge is a risk we shoudnt take, he was my brother... But i have a family... If we do this... you have to promise me that no matter what, we finish this. Okay?
Ellie: Yeah sure
Tommy later half: I have lost my leg, my eye, and my wife...but i found her , rigth here, i cant go but im sure you do.
But what happens with Tommy after he leaves the house?
save that question to tlou 3
Abby finds him and kills him with a broomstick.
Artur Kirkoryan lol
He return to jackson
@@logaritym1 then they get Ellie and beat her up with a tennis racket
6:26 how Tommy don't see the f*cking shotgun?
Plot armor on Abby.
But i think he was confused and shocked
Tommy was raging inside when he knew his brother got murdered. He was just acting to Ellie so she can stay safe and he could come back with news that Joel's killer is dead. Baby bro knew his brother for decades. He was filled with rage just like Ellie was. And Abby too.
Tommy's face 16:16
Who else was like HOLY SHIT this guy is scary when you wer Abby and fought Tommy
So how is Last of Us Part 2?
Joel dies from Abby and ruined golf for me early in the game. And Ellie gets nothing from her revenge. And Dina leaves her. And you can kill dogs.
But Tommy is alive and well!
I had the same reaction with Tommy. HES ALIVE!!
I hope Tommy learns to let go of his resentment of Abby like Ellie.
Uhh idk about well. The dude is bitter, crippled in more than one way, and he is now separated from his wife
Alive? Yeah. Not so well.
If you think Abby still should've died in the end, then you're a sociopathic moron. The irony is that all the villains of the game think the same way. You're a joke.
@@johnjoehoran6285
Never. That game is trash and ruined Ellie and Tommy.
I wish we could play as Tommy
Thank you for leaving the scene in of abby getting shit in the head was totally on purpose picked up on that 😂🤘
They should’ve started making DLCs for this game instead of remaking part 1. Would’ve really liked it if we got to play as Tommy to see what kind of encounters he dealt with looking for Abby and a short dlc how Jessie found Ellie.
WLF: we have you 1000 to 1
Tommy: I like those odds
8:07 Ay, you hallunicatin and shit
8:09 Is this you talking, or is this CJ talking, or is this me talking?
The last of us 3, playing as a neurologic injured character (tommy) would be incredible as it impact gameplay and all :D !
8:00 What if we get hit by towels again?
5:35
*got a towel or anything??*
Best character in the game by far
Going against Tommy never pumped my blood more than ANY infected I faced...
Every time i remember the last of us i feel goosebumps and angry at the same time, i just feel we could spend more time with joel in the game but not as an memory, the game was great but still it was a big mistake to kill joel like this and that early
I want to see a game where Tommy finishes what Ellie didn't gets leg surgery or whatever don't care as long as we get to kill abby.
5:35 you are here for this
I love him
Great character ❤️
Me too.

I was sad when Tommy sever ties with Maria.
“Jesus Christ Joel” he kinda knew that Joel was in trouble yho
Tommy is right bro gave his face his leg his relationship with his wife for Joel, and then elly gets the life he wanted when she’s the one who pushed him to act I’d be pissed she did owe him
The panic in Joel gives me the urge to bare knuckle a clicker. The love he replaced
She was the one asking for the others to stop this cycle of violence.
this game isn't actually half bad if you pay attention to a majority of the cutscenes in further scenarios i love the cutscenes but the game in general i'm just afraid afraid to play this game.
does anyone know what accent tommy has ? ( i mean in which part of USA)
He is from Texas.
Southern/Texas accent
Texas accent
I wish you could choose how the story would’ve ended, by either deciding to save her or letting her die
such a lust for revenge
12:56 i love this part
20 years DLC
One thing that I dont understand is that in the scene at 17:37 Tommy wants to leave and decides not to go after Abby any longer. But in the last scene he starts a fight with Ellie because he wants her to kill Abby. I dont understand the logic in that writing. Man this game had so much potential.
I think cus abby killed jesse
Dude, ffs. He lost a leg, an eye, and now even maria. In the first scene he was just talking out ellie from it. In the end he's a broken man. Even broke than the start of the game since now he really lost everything because of her. It's not lazy writing, it's lazy reading.
He lost his eyes and maria for nothing... thats why he ask ellie to finish the god damn thing
Dina was sick and needed a doctor, Tommy was coming back but he's still decent enough to have his priorities straight
Tommy is the reason I kept going, the brutality the man shows is ridiculous
Naughty Dog hate him
I would pay any amount of money for Tommy chasing Abby, or Tommy and Joel DLC
This game would be 10X better if they made it like the first game but this time we are travelling with Tommy the whole game as Ellie
23:16 how is he still alive at the end?!!!!
I love that he survives but that was a lot of blood for a cheek shot!
PotatoJudd 518 went through his eyes he lost a eye
@@wonyung2003 if that so.. his brain shouldve been damaged tho... this game doesnt make any sense
@@joule407 just watch the cutscene for yourself.... the bullet hits his eye, not his head
@@wonyung2003 Actually no, to hit his eye would have to pass through the brain, something that he won't manage to survive. Also, he don't lost his eye, he has the same scar in his head as Clinton in Mafia 3 but more realistic. The bullet cut through his hair above of his right ear so its mean that he isn't blind, just had an scratch damage there.
I think if Tommy didn’t push her to go on looking for Abby, Ellie wouldn’t have gotten the closure she needed.
Tommy will be so dissapointed with the ending..
you think if its ever possible just to reboot part 2 despite everything has happened?
With the way Neil been acting toward any criticism
Most likely not
Tommy should have been playable instead of Abby
