He is worthy
As soon as I saw he was attaching a workout band to a metal hammer I thought, "Well, there goes Tyranth's front teeth and or testicles."
Well fortunately you were incorrect haha
@@ScreenTested you have to admit it would make it be a pretty interesting in second episode😂😂
He needs a helmet and jock strap. Don't want him to turn into that Dwarf from the Hobbit with an axe in his head.
Appreciate that he called this safety concern out at the end of the video
@@ScreenTestedWhat about the bloopers clips? 😆
Damn, you would spend your time keeping track of your weapon and the enemy. Nice video
"That...was fucking terrifying. Let's do it again!"
Story of my life.
Name him Phony Stark
Phony Shark
i quite like that actually
I say call him Shad hahahaha
😂
Ha !
to spin 3kg of aluminum around you like that without a helmet, you're a mad man
Well yeah a helmet would mess up his hair
a helmet isn't terribly useful against a mace, go figure against a 3kg object. Yes it might reduce the caved in skull but you are still rocking the brain causing internal bleeding and possibly breaking the neck. Helmets are more against glancing hits
@@marcogenovesi8570Better we crack a helmet than a skull though. You might get a concussion with a helmet and it'll aborb much of the force. You're going to break your skull open without one. Ever wondered why they started wearing helmets in world war one?
@@kirbyis4ever the helmet does not magically eat the impact force of a mace and much less of a 3kg object. Unless you deflect it, you are still dead with TBI (traumatic brain injury) and possibly a broken neck even if the skull is not cracked. If you want protection from that you need a full exoskeleton (or a vehicle) that can actually tank the impact for you.
They wore helmets in WW1 mostly for shrapnel and other small stuff thrown around by artillery, not for melee combat, nor for guns. Even modern helmets barely stop pistols and still leave you in a bad shape after the hit.
Helmets designed for melee were very common in middle ages and renaissance but they were mostly for glancing blows and deflections. A direct hit with a mace or a polearm would still take you down.
I legitimately thought you would be lucky to be able to catch it one out of like 10 times, but the consistency you were able to achieve and the combos was amazing. Awesome video, good luck with the new channel!
It was a lot more stable that even I thought it would be 👍🏼
Looks like a great way to stay in shape. An hour a day and you can skip the gym.
@@ScreenTested Shad would hate this. It's a flail head on the end of a bungee cord, and so I hove it. 😄🤣
You should call the armored target fella "Foamy Stark"
Ha !
Since you've tested Mjolnir, you need to do a video testing Cap's shield next.
😉
I'd say, name the test dummy the Mark 1, so when you've totally destroyed it, you can get a new one and that'll be the Mark 2 onwards, just like Iron Man's suits!
That's actually a really cool idea. Best one yet.
Well, glad your bones survived intact and unfractured. That was quite an impressive demonstration, Tyranth.
I hope Chris Hemsworth sees this and visits you, Tyranth, it would be amazing seeing the pair of you exploring what Mjholnir can do
So Tyranth basically just made DnD's chain of returning, complete with the saving throws to avoid damage! 🤣
i approve of your choice of armament
Seeing you swing that about on the rubber band my first thoughts were, "He's going to take his knee out", followed by, "That looks like a lot of fun." A surprise, but a welcome one indeed.
I see now why Thor wears a helmet in the comics.
Finally the internet gives us a man brave enough to do this kind of testing 😂
This turned out very well. I'm honoured to have played a small part in helping with this video... Even if I was worried for your safety and my own.
Excellent work
The deadliest Yo-Yo of the 9 Realms
Tyranth casually chilling with the Marvel interpretation of Mjolnir while the Norse mythology accurate one sits in the background lol
Name the target 'Bruce' - like your enthusiasm Tyranth - great work. Was very surprising how well you could catch it and use it again on a return. Nice job!
Man I love the concept, the range/veriety of moves and it looks really usable. Now I want a well thought through version of this, smaller hammer, everything well constructed so you can swing it hard and then train and get good with it.
Dual wielding the blades of chaos using this method would be terrifying.
for the user
Quite impressed with the way you handled that flying skull-smasher!
Got to say i clinched when you started the montage 😂
This was great 😊
Bro, you are living the dream. I can imagine Thor training just like that when he got his hammer. Goosebumps.
I'm stuck between awe of watching him use it so well and extreme anxiety of it proximity to his shins. I'd have to be wearing grieves with additional heavy padding to tolerate that.
I'm shocked how cool that looked
absolutely terrifying, love it
Dude this was so badass!the way you handled Thors hammer when it came back to you was really good.Cant believe you actualy made a returning throwing hammer, this was fantastic Tyranth.
the way he's spinning it. isn't there a Japanese weapon that has a spike or mace head on a very long chain? (or is that just a fantasy thing)
I remember seeing someone throwing it around like deadly ribbon dancing.
This video would be a good reference for the movies to feel grounded.
This was actually extremely bad ass. That very first fully successful throw you did that even impressed you was sick
Thors mighty meow meow?
looks like a good work out too
13:19 Ooooooh! That headshot! Absolutely awesome video 😄 Really surprised how well you managed to control that weight!
The world’s most dangerous yo-yo ladies and gentleman
At least until he makes a Stormbreaker lol
Love your new content, mang.
Oh MY GOD TYRANT!! DUDE YOU R INSANELY GOOD WITH IT! I couldn't believe the tricks you did with that returning system. Didn't believe it would be even possible. Damn dude!
Also about name for your "Boromir"😅 Tony, Sutr, Ultron, = SulTron'y (the 'Y' is silent😉)
I kept thinking you were going to smash your shins at some point. Impressive on the catches!
Every time Tyranth threw that hammer I was scared FOR him lol
Definitely Tony for the new mannequin name. I was so afraid that you were going to get smashed with that hammer. That would have hurt so badly.
I am floored by how well that worked.
This is, however, deffinitely more dangerous than the sledge hammer flail.
Forget Mjolnir, practice saying 'a-lu-min-ium' ;P
Great video by the way, I think you're great on Shadiversity and Knight's Watch so I'm on board for this ride too.
no, it's aluminum. You brit's pronounce it wrong :p
@@shawnwolf5961 Keep telling yourself that, friend.
what a madman, you're doing such a good job tyranth keep up the good work
This might be the most terrifying thing I've ever seen someone do, holy shit
This was so good I think you should present shad with doing a whole testing video on weapons attached by bungee cord, because unlike rope, rubber bands actually seems to be somewhat practical
that worked so much better than anyone could've hoped for
a risky one to wield but damn you pulled it off
I've seen your skill to an extent during cutting and tests on Shad's channel, but the fact that you were able to just start swinging that thing around with such dexterity is insane. You are very naturally gifted with these things.
Okay, that may have been terrifying, but it was badass. Had to feel cool as hell to be doing that!
I would not want to use that as an actual weapon but it looks like a hella fun afternoon workout swinging that thing around and trying to thwack the dummy. 😁
Duuude, every single time you threw that I was going in my head "please don't get hurt, please don't get hurt, please don't get hurt" I'm glad everything went as well.
That's actually pretty cool. Genuinely surprised me.
It's a giant, elastic meteor hammer... Categorizing it doesn't make it any less terrifying.
But at least it gives you a starting point for the kind of fighting style you would use with it.
The way you said "Mjølnir" sounded very swedish so you were very close. Odin would be proud to have you at his table whenever you join him in Valhall.
THE MIGHTY THORS HAMMER mew-mew
Lol 😂 I’m dying
You could probably use this same set up to make Hornet’s Needle and Thread from Hollow Knight. It would be so awesome!
This looks so good
That looks like a workout.
This worked surprisingly well!
That basically turned magic into reality! I never thought anyone would think to do that... mostly for safety reasons... I'm glad you're okay....
Stan Lee always aimed for a scientific explanation for Thor’s Flight ✈️ and fight 👊 capabilities .
Im really surprised how He didn't guet hurt
How tf does this not have a million views
You made that look almost easy! Being a professional really shows when you make one of the most unwieldy things ever, into something truly badass. I'm so glad you didn't dent your skull or pop a grape. Shared, subscribed, and I wish I could like it twice.
Another awesome video. Great content and no one got hurt druing filming right ; ) But some great looking moves right there, it works and looks great on screen. Ultron would be a good name.
You are very talented in both modifying the M... Thor hammer and using it. Testing it was god tier bravery!
Awesome vid Tyranth thank you for sharing it.
Elastic hammer seems surprisingly viable
Heavy hammer and rubber band. Yup, definitely gonna be painful.
I really enjoyed this vid and I'm very glad you weren't injured during it. Take Care and Stay Safe.
That is kind of a “heavy type”
ninja gadget. Now add together some close combat combos (where you actually have the hammer on hand) with some ”throws” added in :D
Perhaps a starter or a finisher with a throw, or both.
I’m just happy he says aluminum the correct way.
Loving the videos! Keep up the great work.
Gl with the channel dude :)
Im impressed, nice job tyranth
Because of the way you picked this up pretty naturally, I think you could attach a rope and use it like a meteor hammer. Little more reach and controle with practice. Could make an interesting follow-up I think.
Loved it! Awesome video with some great testing.
Yeaaaaaah Tyranth!!! Keep em' coming man!
Man. You are even more impressive than I thought. Stupid brave too. Came and subbed as soon as I found out. Love you, Tyranth!
Oh i forgot to put on notifications so i didnt notice this one until CZcams recommended this video, lesson learned. Also really cool video im glad i didnt miss it completely.
Great video Tyranth!!! Looking forward to more.
That looks like a badass workout also.works every muscle in your body.
Another great video, fantastic work!
Call him Nate :D
Jarvis is the perfect name for a target.
This is incredible that you’re ACTUALLY able to use that in some pretty impressive combos!
Honestly, this is just a much more self-lethal rope dart, and its awesome
im so glad you have a channel! its always good to see you
I'd love to see some of Elden Rings more absurd weapons tested!
High bloody quality mate!
This channel has such a fun idea for content. Saw you there over at Shad’s and made my way here. Very cool!
Snake Eye’s tonfa blades would be a interesting weapon to test.
That looked wicked cool. And VERY dangerous 😱
Awesome video, how about Iron Tony for a name because of his mask
First thing I noticed was a Barbasol can. So I would name the dummy Nedry.
Tyranth, you do good work. And I appreciate the explanation of modifications. I'm happy I subbed.
I'm surprised and elated that it worked so well! The Avengers should be calling soon for your technical expertise of Asgardian weaponry.
And I vote for Tony.
nice vid, well produced and fun to watch. keep up the good work, and stay safe, risk is fine, but make sure it's calculated, and minimized as much as possible.
Nice, name him The most illustrious name of " BOB " .
That looks like an amazing workout!!!
That worked way better than I expected. Nicely done
That's actually super dope ⚔️👍
