- In this video I'll show you a simple sound design technique that you can use to create dark, dystopian atmospheres and drones quite easily.
0:00 - Intro/ Example sounds
0:25 - Creating a basic sound in Vital
0:50 - The technique
2:29 - A few examples
1. Literally anything
2. Bandpass filter
3. Saturate/Distort
4. HUGE reverb
Easy and effective-sounds great as always
Yep, that's pretty much it. :)
Great video as always! What comes in my mind during watching was the idea to recreate an airplane that flys by :D
Nice
Thanks :)
I love your sound design videos
Thank you! :)
Looks like Camel Phat has been discontinued. Any alternatives? Doesn't Roar do exactly the same? thanks for the tutorial btw
For the purpose of this you can use any distortion/ saturation plugin. I just like to stack multiple different distortion plugins. Ableton's Saturator and Roar will do the job just as well. :)
@@NGTVST if that's not too much to ask - we'd appreciate if you dropped a .zip of CamelPhat (and other Camels if you have) on Gdrive or somewhere - there's a bunch of links floating around to get this abandonware, but i'd rather get it from my fav content creator that is using legit software 😄 And as always - thank you for your knowledge; eagerly waiting for more tutorials :)
Try Trash/Trash 2 😁
What's this app?
The software is called Ableton. :)
