I love how Lizzie is always so preoccupied with how much she thinks she despises Darcy that she fails to realize that the kinds of people with whom he is close friends are very telling to what kind of person he is. I.e., fun, kind, generous, warm, friendly

I could imagine Darcy watching these videos and being equally heartbroken from her obvious disdain of him and charmed by her goofiness, humor and outspokenness.

That was the most awkward letting-loose I've ever seen
I know, right? As silly as lizzie is it was kinda ooc. Lydia, on the other hand... totes in character.
I love how deliberately obtuse she's being about "another example of lively, outgoing people" who are "inexplicably" friends with Darcy.
That right there should have given her pause: Darcy is universally liked by people. No matter how intellectual she claims to be, in this aspect, she really isn't: prejudice and bias will do that to a person.
Her thinking that bad of him makes more makes more sense in the book.

That is one of my main issues with this adaption. Darcy ends up just shy, because it ends up looking like she has been twisting things, or making a bigger deal of other things. Esspecially when Lydia and /or Charlet say something defending him... But that is not the case and it dose not make sence for them to be SO pro Darcy and that is DEFINITLY not what it was suposed to be. The book corrects it some.
@@fadereraquadri1018 He is universally liked by his staff at Pemberley Digital. And by his friends. Lizzie is prejudiced because he slighted her and that turns her friends against him too. She hasn't seen the side of him yet, and it surprises her how well-liked he is.
I think that in the book Lizzie is more encouraged to think bad about Darcy because of the society around them (everyone at the first ball think bad of him because he doesn't meet people expectations), while here it's more about the expectations of her followers and viewers: she made fun of him, it paid off and everyone wanted more, so in her real life she had this shy man trying to get to know her better, while on the other side, an entire audience demanding to talk about him, defending him and shipping her with him. So (in my opinion) she chooses to do what her viewers want (we can even talk about public pressure), she talks about Darcy, BUT in her own way: mocking him and turning him in a one dimensional character refusing to know him better and making a mistake. Once again: talking to the internet is not the same as talking to people.
Also, LIZZIE'S PRIDE: for me in the book both Lizzie and Darcy show pride and prejudice, but Lizzie's pride here is more emphasized

This is quite possibly my favourite episode. I grinned so much when Lizzie was playing around in the office. It's what we've all wanted to do. All I've ever done in an empty office was finish work as quickly as possible and dodge the cleaners on the way out.

I've been watching since the beginning and since I can't wait for 80 to come out, I started rewatching the series for lulz. Anyways, I love imagining what all the characters are thinking and my favorite, for this video is Darcy. Just imagine it, him watching these videos since Lizzie told him to, and seeing her dance around the office like a maniac. One can just imagine the genuine smile and little dimple on his face to see her happiness and thinking "I wish I could make her this happy."
