worth all 7 hours, stunning video you sure you need help with your channel?? PS I can't tell them apart till you showed the rear. Love Mclaren since you all started driving them (they owe you guys a huge debt!!) Right now, Mclaren are making all other super car makers look completely static. Amazing stuff.
The 540C is about 88% the price of the 570S, but 99% the experience.
the main difference for me it's the rear diffuser. It's worth every penny. It looks so much better.
A Toyota Camry is about 5% the price of the 570S but 20% the experience.

actually most important thing is 540 has no spider vision or I needn't to buy 570😅

Hauroku Wel yeah they usually even dont come close to how i drive my GTI Clubsport, esp if they drive on London streets which are tight as peep & horrid for any form if racing abilities...
Hauroku when he was in la he drove a 488 well over 100 mph in the canyons

Awesome :) you could get a sneaky remap on your 540c if you ever felt the need for more power. The engine can obviously a lot more. I suspect it feels pretty darn quick enough though.

@@madkinou they do it's called buying a 570s they both use the same engine the car us just set up slightly differently
That voids the warranty making the money saved useless as your going to spend a ton when it breaks

Goes to show that more power sometimes is counter productive on tight twisty mountain roads. Traction control keeps cutting in and harder to modulate the throttle inputs.

this is a bit like the jaguar f type v6/v8 argument. I've heard from owners that the 4wd and heavy engine block in the front of the car can actually make the v8 less enjoyable to drive than the v6 and on normal roads you wouldn't appreciate the extra power anyway

Sorry to be pedantic, but PS is not hp. The 540 pushes out 532hp at 7500rpm while the 570 generates 562hp at 7400rpm. The difference is actually 29hp, not 30 ;) The change you're most likely to feel in road driving is torque -- 398 lb-ft (available from 3500rpm) in the 540 vs the 570's 443 lb-ft (at 5000rpm). Worth the £17K difference?

It would look so much better woth some colour running through the back, just under the headlights. It would break up the blackness and such. I feel like ATM if looks like the rear end is falling out of the car.

James is just the better driver. 30hp is not that much on twisty roads where driver skills are the most important factor. Even the tyres if one of the two had different tyres could make a huge difference.

Nice comparison. Hp is of course not as important on the passes. did the Silvretta in a 911 and 911S and the 50Hp more of the S wasn't useful. wish they sold the 540 in the U.S.
From 8:09 to 8:12 MCL 570S i love this tight turning radiuses. I mean perfect car *-*
