I absolute LOVE corn coat so I can’t wait to try it. 👍🏻👍🏻
Love your vids, bro! Keep up the good work. We're down here in South Texas! Already made up a batch of this stuff. Can't wait to try it out! Thanks again!
Sounds great!
Will be making some to try in south Louisiana grate videos keep them comeing
Thanks, will do!
Just an FYI. Had 10 doe out at once this evening eating this coated corn. Completely ignoring the other regular corn. See a total of 19 this evening. My hunting partner, he seen close to 30 a few mornings ago. It’s the real deal. The smell of it is great, they can smell it a long ways away. Just try it. Any doubters saying regular corn works the same… Spread the treated corn and normal corn 50 yards apart. See for yourself.
there is something about this mix...seems to work super well.
Again another great recipe, will try next fall bowhunting season in NB.Thanks
Sounds great!, let us know how you make out with it.

They used to make a product that was called roasted corn that was like baby nuggets that was the bomb that you can mix in with your corn wish I could find that stuffing again
Can you make a vid about you top traps
Great show dwayne frm sask.Canada
thanks for watching
Great video, thank you. Could a person mix your corn coat mixture with cracked corn and have the same results?
I think so!, but not sure the cracked corn will hold the deer, pieces are pretty small, but the corn coat will still work
Awesome information on corn use.... thanks.. I give it two thumbs up. Where is your helper??
He sat this one out...past his bedtime when i shot this one i think.....
Just found your channel and have bookmarked quite a few recipes to try. On this one, I saw the question asked about it's effect on a gravity feeder but what about an electric feeder? Do you think it would gum it up on the inside?
Welcome!, it really shouldn't gum anything up if you use it in the proper amounts...remember a little of this stuff goes a long way
Thanks for the info!
Any idea if this causes problems in a gravity feeder?
Wasn't sure if it would get sticky or clog up.
if you use it lightly like it supposed to be used than it should be fine, big clumps can gun stuff up if your not careful
@@NBWildman Thanks man🍻
What is cherry sobe drink mix can not find it here
Nicely presented..When are you moving to my neck of the woods??
Could I replace the cherry powder with apple? I'm in Eastern Washington, we have more wild apple trees at 2500ft than cherries.
I'm sure you can, but i wouldn't. we have tons of wild apple trees here as well, but i honestly think it's the strong scent of cherry that peaks their curiosity, they smell apple all the time...but i suppose you can try anything you like...if you do, let us know how you make out with it.
@@NBWildman That makes very good sense...throw'm a curve ball..perk their curiosity.
Might sprinkle this on my crab apple pile. I’ll call it apple coat lol
nice idea !!
Will definitely have to give that a try. Have you tried that on your trap line for raccoons by chance?
used it in pail sets for a bit, but found to many small animals getting to it before my target animals. works ok in dog proofs, but i prefer my other bait. the one with black licorice
Is baking soda just a filler?
So does this mean I can make this for my deer attractant but also use a few spoonfuls for your muskrat long call instead of paying 15$ for the store stuff?
Absolutly, for sure...two birds as they say
Hey Wildman, can you tell me if that cherry drink crystals are anything like the kool-aid packets? Can not find soby's brand what else would you suggest? Thanks and nice video
Having trouble finding that and the icing sugar
Hope to get an answer soon
some people use cherry cool aid...it's not gonna be the exact same but it should work out ok.
any brand of icing sugar will do, just needs to be the fine powder
Hey thanks Wildman for this update I'll give this a try and for the icing sugar we have around here (Alabama) is powder sugar it should be almost the same. Thank you and be safe
Great video. Where is the best place to buy corn in NB? Thanks
i get mine at the co-op feed store in Hartland
@@NBWildman Thanks again good hunting!!!
Most recipes like this call for salt. Would it help to add some?
i really didn't think that the salt would adhere to the corn like the powder does....but feel free to try it out and let us know how you do
Does the mix cause your corn to mold quicker?
nope, not at all
i live in nb, and have been trying find 50lb bags of corn, where do you get them at,
feed co-op in Hartland
@@NBWildman thats. i used to live in bath, my son just moved to bristol last fall, ill get him to grab me some ...
How about mixing your ingredients in a bucket first then pour it into your plastic bags??
I have a hard time finding your ingredients here in Quebec, only 500 km away...berry blue jello even walmart does not sell it.
get mine at the supermarket Sobey's i think
@@NBWildman yeah, there is sobeys all over Canada but not in Quebec, we are too ''special''...it's IGA here under the same corporate umbrella and they do not have cherry drink cristals or berrie blue jello
buy it at scheels in an 80 oz container 35 bucks on line
thanks
Here in Michigan, the corn needs no help. They vacuum it up like there’s no tomorrow.
Yea corn here in NB is tough, they will eat it, but not like in other places.
I saved an empty bucket of Luck Buck, use pretty close to the same recipe at (3X) the rate and it will last for months.
Baking soda is Sodium Bicarbonate, not Sodium carbonate. Interesting mix.
Thanks for the info
3 cherry drink packs
500g baking soda
2 packs berry blue jello
1 pack grape jello
500g powder sugar
I'm in
you need to comment on the million views video to be in for the draw, thanks
I liked the video as i like all of your videos they are informative and alot of help. I'm in.
In WV I bought that crap...tried just a little bit in 100lbs...
I had fawns, and older deer blow the whistle at that..
Simple corn no additives works just fine.
Put it out 2 to 3 days prior to your hunt and you'll be good.
guess it depends a lot on your location, here it's tough to get deer on just corn
Works very well for me here in WV!
I used the real stuff a few years back when our Walmart carried it . The deer Loved it . North Carolina here . Walmart don’t carry it any more so I’m glad I saw this .
Bad enough young kids are becoming addicted to sugar, now we are passing that trend off to the deer!!!
