That was really a feel good moment to see you watch with your Grandpa. They didnt have trail cams when mine was alive. But they did with my late Father and Uncles and we would get excited to go over the pics. These days My brother and I both still get excited to watch the pics and we put it on the big screen TV. 54 (me) and 60 yr old acting like kids at christmas. And now my sons are basically the same way. Thanks for sharing the moment.
Great video! That one buck is a tank. I did a review on that tree line wild berry mineral block. Deer absolutely went crazy for it. August into early September. Great test and good luck to ya this deer season!
I use purina protein mix from March to about August to. Enhance health and antler growth. The deer on my property prefer the purina protein mix over anything I've used. Kudos to purina. Nice expensive test lol
Go. A have to try the big tine block now. I know all the deer love the big tine cherry smell and taste around me so I’m gonna get one of their blocks and put it next to a couple others including the antler king and record rack.
Thank you for the video. I was hesitant to buy the Parina block until I watched your video. I have always had luck only with the big and J other blocks Deer would not touch. I will absolutely go with the Parina it's a lot less expensive. I think the big and j is way over priced.
Hunters use all kinds of scent control before a hunt. Since you open the blocks with bare hands and whatever scent on your body. Does that tell you scent control doesn't matter?
What’s crazy is I killed a buck that looked just like that this year except he also had a point on each side that came straight out of the back of his antlers to his neck so he probably couldn’t lift his head back very much.
Your comment about expense is a little misleading and incorrect - sort of. It may be the most expense in dollar total, but you need to follow that up with a per pound price, so the 5 lb, $9.99 block is actually your most expensive

Wow what a cool test! Thanks super enjoyed it 💯
Should I test Scrape Scents next??
Why not try some deer scrape? Great review thanks for sharing 👍
Try different types of the rocks like trophy rock vs salt blocks and mineral blocks
What about food plot plants?
Foodplot seedmixes
Add a standard 50lb mineral block from TSC.

I hope we get to see you take down that big one on camera this year. Love the product testing videos
Was looking at those yesterday now I know which one to buy 👍👍
Good video series, keep them going. Ive found deer love Trophy rock more than anything!
Cool idea!! New friend here. Our tractor supply’s down here in Texas carry a berry flavored block. The brand is record rack and it’s my go to.

Interesting test. I did something similar and Record Rack was the dominant choice.
That's a sick rack on the big buck
Good review!
Very nice 👌 👍
I think papa was about to grab the 30-06 right then and there!
Me too 😂😂😂
Thank you for this
Great video brother. Purina the only one of those I haven’t tried before hahaha
You should do a Championship of all the baits to see which is the best of the best
Grainiac XL flies out the door here, they had to order more pallets of it.. deer love it
I’ve used the purina deer block in Wisconsin. The deer absolutely love these!
I recently started using Grainiac an omg the deer love it
Best part is when your showing grandad the bucks...wtg, nice video
I love videos like this
More to come!
Oh man I watched that doe get up on her hind legs many times. I laughed so hard!

Before the temperatures drop, Southeast + humidity + rain= MOLD
Heck yeah
I always use the Purina deer block after my own experiences, though I also used the Black Ops and picked up a Buck Bourbon to try.
Grainiac is the best one I’ve tried as well.
Just the the standard salt blocks for horses, cheaper and work just the same if not better
You should set up multiple trail cams. It's very common that they don't trigger all the time.
Nice idea. But you cant compare mineral blocks to feed blocks. Good luck on that buck.

Curious to see how you make out with it!
I will absolutely let you know thank you for getting back@@RipnStikOutdoors
I can't remember. Did you already do Trophy Rocks? Next put out cattle and livestock blocks. They are a big cheaper I think.
Do u all have scooter over there in London ky at wall mark
Try the horse block from TS 🤣 they eat the heck out of my horse block!! 33 pounds for $17-$18

Yurrr
Where’s the trophy rock,good video
Just plant the same flowers you put in your flowerbeds and those SOB’s ate
You have one on foodplot seed mix test
Salt and water in water jug and mix n shake them up. Save more money.
Dbl split G2s that would be a target buck for sure
For sure!
We just watched it at my house so jokes on you ☠️☠️
To me I feel like for the test they should be spread out a little bit more so the scents arnt kinda just all blending together
There is also the issue of geographic location and nutritional needs at the moment.
I don't known if this will work but you could try liquid deer attractions
I agree, he could always have a control bag of corn or something to poor it on so it’s not just dirt
these are easy to make and you can make 3 or 4 of these blocks for this price of one.
What’s crazy is I killed a buck that looked just like that this year except he also had a point on each side that came straight out of the back of his antlers to his neck so he probably couldn’t lift his head back very much.
I have great luck with prurena and there one of the cheapest ones
That much money would buy a lot of venison jerky
Bucks are a different creature compared to does. They are 100% against risk.
Good test, I don't live to far from a Tractor Supply.
If it gets moldy and they eat it good luck
A run of the mill birdseed block works better then all of them .
Have to try that!
No trophy rock?
I’m not the DCNR and I could care less what people do on their own property but isn’t this illegal now in PA?
Not until season opens
@@petermavus4131 gotcha. I see now that it’s a law they’re trying pass but haven’t passed it yet to ban it all season. Thanks for the reply!
Not in my part of the state...yet
@@RipnStikOutdoors thanks RnS! I’m from NY where everything’s illegal lol thanks for the response and good luck this season
I would have spread them out more. Like 2 or 3 feet apart
@ 8:15 mark what is in the woods behind the raccoon?
Big bucks don’t get big by being dumb we’ll just according where they are lol

4:53 How you know this is a female??
None of them work.
