Coyotes are smart and if you think they are smelling the trail camera.. they definitely are smelling your hands on the trap and in the dirt. I'd recommended you wear rubber gloves any time you handle the trap or the dirt and/or anything you touch or leave behind. Pretty funny watching you let that cat loose, have to admit
We set traps early- gotta get through the stinkers and grinners to get to the yotes and foxes. Nothing more exciting than releasing a cat. We use the sketchy pole, and 30 seconds on the end of the line is about 5 years off your life, but well worth it! Great vid!
Yotes have probably paired up allready...try calling ...i called in pair at 3:30 pm afternoon as they say they come in to investigate who is in their hunting grounds taking away game for their future pups food. Since you know they are in the vicinity.
